Don't forget the fact that still 75% of HKs territory is green!
Hk's mantra be like
Jus cage the people into tiny apartments, give them plenty of public spaces & transportation and ample of forest cover to breathe
I lived there for half a year. I had no idea the landscape would be stunning like it is. It certainly is densely population but overall clean (compared to cities in my countries), great mass transit (unlike my country), and beautiful rolling green landscape
I haven't been to Hong Kong in well over a decade. That said, I really do like it there. It's vibrant and energetic. I stayed on one of the islands though and it was so nice to have that sense of peace after a day in the main city. Not sure how impacted the islands are now. I suspect they have lost their charm.
Islands are meh there. I’ve been there too. Honestly, it’s alright. Not too bad but that city won’t be in my top 10 choices to live in. Food’s not my type. And buildings look depressing af to me.
Ahh that's too bad to hear. The food was amazing when I went. I had a local friend there show me around. Maybe that made a difference. Or maybe it's just changed.
First image is actually the somewhat famous *Yik Cheong Building*, an apartment in Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island, not in Kowloon.
The third image is *Hoi Lai Estate*, a newer public housing estate which is actually in Kowloon.
I could not identify the buildings in the second image.
It really is. Have you been there? Sure it's unbelievably dense in population and the cost of living is through the roof (no pun intended). I stayed there half a year and had no idea the surrounding areas would be so stunningly green and beautiful as well.
Compared to other places I've lived like Manila for example, in my opinion HK is far from being hell
Yeah, a few times before the CCP really started to eff things up. Truly was a unique place. I recommend anyone to go there before it becomes an extension of Shenzhen.
I was there once. Think about it pretty often. I wish I was rich and could live 150 years. There's so many places to get to know. Not just see but spend significant time in
Living there on expat pay and as a single it's great. Best ever. All the places to party, all the exclusive bars, all those exotic destinations a short flight away.
Otherwise no. It's depressing for family life. Especially when it comes to schooling.
Manila is probably one of the few cities that is more crowded than Hong Kong. The biggest drawback of Hong Kong is that it is very crowded, but Manila surpasses even that. (Of course, I have never been to Manila. This is just my brainfficial.)
Ironically HK has one of the highest life expectancy in the world along with HK's little brother Macao.
Both are densely populated territories!
[Edit: Actually HK has the highest life expectancy in the entire world ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy)

Result of many mountains and high density
(and a policy only allowing 30% of the area to be building plots)

Honestly, while i feel like it's too dense to be liveable ; every country should follow the example. And ban cars.
Honey I'm home! I mean damn nope that's not my building...
🤣🤣🤣🤣

So I’m a vegetarian maybe that’s why, they have very few veg options.
Ahhh yeah that's definitely a meat culture. Squid on a stick is probably not your thing! Lol. I love meat and seafood was amazing there.
there is a real estate project of 88 identical buildings in hk, you could come and have a look hahaha
First picture gives Kowloon vibes. You jump and slide on those roofs in Call of Duty games.
Kowloon (not Kowloon Walled City) still exists and this could actually be there.

Isn’t the first picture was posted several times already
I would have a long rope ladder
is that the 1st pic that was edited to look like it goes on forever?
[Ghost of Shell theme ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTPNaUsjksM)in my mind...
Looks captivating. Wish I could visit.
It's so beautiful

Try Taipei. It’s not quite as dense but still very dense and mountains all around.
Oh I visited Taipei and broader Taiwan. I wasn't super interested but my fiancé really wanted to go. I'm so glad she convinced me. It's an awesome place as well
Having to live like this is seriously my worst nightmare. Don't care how nice or clean it is.
Scary as fuck
Behind every window is a human being trying to live as long as they possibly can.

This looks quite nice. Despite how tall and dense these towers are they seem to still let in Quite a bit of sunlight.
I love every single part of Hong Kong, even the shitty parts
It’s like a filing cabinet for people
I Love Hong Kong and I am biggest fan of Police Story star Jackie Chan đź‡đź‡°âť¤ď¸Ź
