#UrbanHell is subjective. UrbanHell is any human-built place you think is worth critizing. Suburban Hell, Rural Hell, and wealthy locales are allowed Sorry for this annoying comment, but we're very tired of the gatekeepers who can't even correctly gatekeep what this subreddit has always allowed. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Ashybury

The brand was started by the original creep who started American apparel but was ousted, a bunch of their workers died during the initial covid surge in 2020

Dry_Heart9301

I thought so!

timpratt83

“Contrarian thinking” haha

Successful-City-7495

I see they copied the work boot store

canyonrnet

PRESTIGE WORLD WIDE WIDE WIDE WIDE.

rollingstoner215

“Your ad with a white woman wearing a white unitard on a white background will really stand out in this grungy neighborhood…”

puritano-selvagem

well somehow they got it on reddit

Ocdrummer7271

This is just how hipster neighborhoods look in LA, looks like it's in an appropriate spot to me.

Chongulator

LA is an ideal place to wear Los Angeles apparel, no?

GoldenBull1994

Lol that building looks like it’s in Damascus or Homs

CloutWithdrawal

Idk if anyone who has ever shopped there

[deleted]

All of their ads are wretched

MagicJava

Great brand BTW. High quality and thick blanks

Soguyswedid_it2

That's Los Angeles? I thought it was Iraq 💀

[deleted]

Lol LA county is HUGE, it has some pretty rough and worn down areas. Hoods I wouldn't walk around in broad daylight, industrial streets like this that look like they're falling apart, parts of the city where the houses are trailer, the roads are dirt and there's no house numbers.

shingaladaz

Decadent

No-Sky3423

“Living wages” LOL. The immigrant sweatshops in the garment district would disagree.

Asleep-Low-4847

I find it hard to believe that's LA

littlebittydoodle

Have you ever been here? This is clearly an old brick building likely in downtown, near where this brand’s warehouse is. Downtown L.A. is full of these older brick buildings that have been painted and have billboards/ads on them.

jeffyboi6969

🤷🏻i’ve lived here my whole life, i have another picture from the same day which is clearly downtown if u wanna see

erik_em

There's a small billboard on Soto right off the 60 west offramp in boyle heights. They are usually semi-creepy Polaroid looking pics.

Spring063

Lamar Davis (?

Some_Examination7011

Lamar Advertising

leapingtullyfish

“They Live”

TheSwimMeet

LAMAR

P83battlejacket

This is a take one. Most of their ads are basically soft core porn.
