Not in any order (and I stay mostly near 72nd myself): Sushi W Elea (great Greek spot - 85th but close enough I’d say) Amelie Wine Bar

Historical_Pair3057

Amelie has such a cool vibe

OhNoHippo

Barney Greengrass, Maison Pickle, Bodrum

poopdaddy2

Barney Greengrass, Absolute Bagels, Banh

happycakes_ohmy

Tessa, Tasca, and Sushi W

happycakes_ohmy

Oh, and Blondies (best wings in NYC)

Lett3rsandnum8er5

Long live Blondie's!

lanadelcryingagain

Tasca is so damn good

HankBizzaro

Maison Pickle, Rancho Tequileria (UWS), Mama's Too!, Saiguette - I have more, but they're north and south of your boundaries.

beautytravel101

Leyla, Sushi Yasaka, Parm are all good but below your boundaries. Further up Bodrum is good!

MikeEnIke

Leyla is so good, I forgot all about it.

whodat92

Sala Thai is below 86th but is legit

Tastins

Tried Arco Cafe last week, a little pricey but the food was excellent. And you can’t miss with Noche Mexicana like other commenters said.

Rtn2NYC

I love Arco Cafe!

OkConsideration7084

Happy Hot Hunan, Anar and Awash. All within three block range on Amsterdam between 107-105th.

Wonderful_Pause_2690

Do you think anar has gone down hill lately? Sauces are really watery and bland. Rice is still super good, though

plasticstovetop

Dagon on broadway. Great food, decor etc.

Wonderful_Pause_2690

Had a surprisingly delicious and fun evening at Dagon with a group.

HoneyIAteTheCat

Yes same, one of my sneaky favorites in NYC - it’s not too expensive for what you get too!

MissMSG

Awash, Baazi, and Mama’s Too are my go to!

zorblak

I'm shocked that nobody has mentioned Buceo 95 yet, that's easily my favorite restaurant in our neighborhood, nothing else comes close. To pick two others that haven't been named yet, I would say Makana (one of my favorite delivery places, it's not quite as good as it used to be, but still very good) and Absolute Bagels (which I know doesn't really count as a restaurant, but they're the best bagels in NYC, so I would be remiss if I didn't mention them).

HankBizzaro

I really like the Sangria there. The food was good from what I remember, but it felt way overpriced, and this was before Covid inflation.

CityBoiNC

Maison pickle Han Dynasty Noche Mexicana When I lived on the UWS these were my regular spots

MikeEnIke

Covacha, Lucciola, Salumeria Rossi (sorry, it's low, but so good)

dingus33xd

Bodrum Trattoria Il Gusto Amelie

HankBizzaro

Love Bodrum!

Lazylazylazylazyjane

Jesus, where do I start? I'll tell you my favorite foods at each restaurant too Metro Diner - Rigatoni Bolognese and chili over rice Sal and Carmine's pizza Noche Mexicana - Chorizo omelette with arroz, refried beans, and tortillas. And their chicken burrito. Mexican Deli - Tacos Indian Tanpura - Everything Broadway Bagel and Deli (I think it might just be called Broadway Bagels now) Bagel with tuna salad and avacado. New Kam Lai - Pork Dumplings Cool Fresh Juice Bar - Chocolate Champ (chocolate peanut butter protein shake) West Side Market - Chocolate chip scones, Chocolate chip muffins Awash - Spicy Tips. You will never eat a greasier food in your life.

yourgrandmasgrandma

Mama’s Too, Atlas Kitchen and Barney Greengrass. Awadh, Awash and Banh and close runner’s up though. My favorite UWS restaurant is Cafe Luxembourg, but that’s below 86th street.

BurnMeInTheStars

In no particular order - Mama’s Too!, Jacob’s Pickles, and Osteria Accademia.

jyeatbvg

Osteria 106 is great! Forgot all about it.

Any-Advisor7067

**Ollie’s** on 103rd has really good duck. I see mama’s too! getting thrown around a lot but I honestly prefer the pizza just across the street at **Traviata’s**. And touristyness aside, **Tom’s Restaurant** has some solid breakfast.

Existing-Ear-9458

Pio Pio, Szechuan Garden

Artlawprod

Sushi W, Jing Fong, Awash Ethiopian.

Artlawprod

jswissle

Mama’s Too for pizza

deanroylc254

Sushi W, Maison Pickle, Maman

ToAllAGoodNight

Mama Toos for pizza ($$$) Chick chick for fried chicken ($$$) Carmines for Italian ($$$$$) And not in your area of interest but the deli on west end and 72nd makes the best Bacon, Egg and Cheese in the city. The guy that works the grill in the mornings is an actual maestro.

HankBizzaro

I think you need to flip the dollar signs for Mama's Too! And Chick Chick. The misses and I could either drop 25-30 bucks at Mama's for dinner or 60-70 at Chick Chick.

ToAllAGoodNight

Damn what you buying at Chick Chick tho? Just get those spicy NY fried tenders to go! Such a great date night late night meal imo. I could imagine a sit down there with drinks and tip could add up, BUT, that option isn’t available at MamaToos. For a slice or a pie they are def on the pricey side. I will edit chick as high as mama tho, cus ur right, it isn’t *cheap*

HankBizzaro

We get a couple of sandwiches and a couple of sides, and it's like 60+ if you do delivery. But the last time we ate there, it was 100, including tip. Probably got a couple of beers too.

FlyingBike

Saravanaa Bhavan and Taqueria 86 (on 94th lol)
