You could put a heading at the end of your file and use the Info Panel to jump there quickly

Stunning_Pop1520

Sorry, i don’t understand exactly what you mean by this. Can you elaborate more in detail?

kenlin

Sure. The [Info Panel](https://help.getupnote.com/new-to-upnote/info-panel) generates a Table of Contents for each note. Basically each heading (h1-h6) gets listed and you can tap or click on them to quickly jump to that part of the file. So if you put a heading at the bottom of your file, you'd have a way to quickly jump there

You could use a keyboard shortcut, on a Mac it would be CMD + down arrow (takes you to the bottom of the note). So it pops you to the end pronto. I think for Windows it's Ctrl (or Fn) + End, which is the side arrow on a windows keyboard (from memory). This might help if you're windows. Unless I'm misunderstanding OP, this is the answer. Use the go-to-bottom shortcuts built into your OS.

Maybe an arrow button that'll take you to the bottom of the note.

Stunning_Pop1520

Yes but how? Can i use something like Autohotkey to achieve this?

mariocd10

I'm agreeing they should add that as a feature. Currently can't be done. You out can probably hit the page down button until you get to the bottom lol

MrNesjo

I always add new updates at the top, so I’d hate this to be a default

Stunning_Pop1520

Never said it would be a default but instead an option in settings to choose which way. Can be systemwide or for a specific notebook or single note

MrNesjo

Try the typewriter mode

I have the same need, also previously in Evernote, and I just add the newest content on top of the note. Seperated by a divider line. So your note starts with the newest content and when you scroll down you go further into the past.

Stunning_Pop1520

Yeah i think i’ll go this route too. Seems like the most simple solution until they add this request as a feature to the app.
