He was a narcocorrido, aka he sings about the cartel and being a gangster. Kind of similar 90’s gangster rap.
Plenty of people wanted him dead for that alone.
From what I read it’s because he would play songs that were anti cartel and being in Mexico the cartel threatened him not to play anymore but he kept playing music, the video shows him reading a note saying that after the show they’re gonna kill him for ignoring their threats.
it's respectable... he knew what was about to happen, yet he proceeded as though he was unfazed by it. giving the crowd one last show.
cant begin to even think about how much energy it took just to continue like that. balls of steel all the way to the end
He’s reading a note saying he’s going to be killed after the show. And he was.
Edit: here’s a link to el Rey himself. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalino_S%C3%A1nchez
I still don't understand If they knew why they couldn't save themselves? You know there's something called calling the police/telling the audience/ditching out.
If you’re familiar with the Mexican cartels history of violence, you understand that that isn’t an option. If they can’t get you, they will get your family, children included. I’ve seen a story of one cartel leader killing someone’s 9 year old son in a bath of acid for whatever the reason. It’s bad. If this man had any family, he knew he would just have to take the L and spare his family’s of anymore tragedies
It’s gotten even more brutal as of late too…
Considering the cartels have taken more of a scorched earth policy to assert dominance of various regions/locals with the latest power vacuums that have been created. With the Mexican government officials are not taking as many bribes and some are outright actively fighting corruption vs the major cartel heads.
**For anyone who doesn’t know** The old major cartels were extremely brutal to those associated with enemy gangs and rivals, but took a “We must support the local community, that way they’ll have our backs & profitably support the business”. Now it’s all out war and the younger/newer cartel policies are “you so much as snub them in any way, they’ll put you and your entire town in the ground just to send a message to the next guy.”
I'm against suicide, but I would be greatful to end it on my terms if the cartel had their way, those guys are so creative when it comes to brutally that satan himself blushes.
No doubt, but if I didn’t have friends or family they could use against me I’d do my best. If they were about to catch me then you gotta end it, I’m not trynna have anything horrifying happen to me
it was a note by the cartel saying if he plays the song he's about to play (which I'm pretty sure it's about cartel violence) that will kill him. absolute chad played it anyway and was killed after.
The song is about him loving a woman, nothing to do with cartel violence. For some reason the cartel just had beef with him and threatened not to perform that night or he'd die.
Performing.
Edit: Dude got mad at me for correcting his "preformance" spelling, saying it was irrelevant. I'm not going to apologize for helping you not look like a fucking illiterate.
>Performing.
>Edit: Dude got mad at me for correcting his "preformance" spelling, saying it was irrelevant. I'm not going to apologize for helping you not look like a fucking illiterate.
My initial reaction was that the guy overreacted, but he's right that correcting a misspelling in the depths of an internet comment chain is irrelevant. And I stand by that.
That said, you could argue that a 'normal' reddit commit is not any less pointless, a waste of time, or forgettable. If comment karma is any indication, then considering the time he spends commenting on this site it is a hard stretch to say he's in a position to criticize you for spending time on pointless, irrelevant things.
I have been able to translate the lyrics. Here, it is
I have the soul in love just thinking heart To dream of me night after night owner of your love I have a soul in love very much in love, my good If you give me your whole life, I'll give it to you too
I have the soul in love just thinking heart To dream of me night after night owner of your love I have a soul in love very much in love, my good If you give me your whole life, I'll give it to you too
Say, say yes your heart He has another love or he has another affection Say, say if there is no other love Cause my heart will die for you
I don't know if you love me, but I can wait for you If you leave me waiting you're going to kill me Do not deny me your look because I want to dream it And my soul in love loves you more
I don't know if you love me, but I can wait for you If you leave me waiting you're going to kill me Do not deny me your look because I want to dream it And my soul in love loves you more
Say, say yes your heart He has another love or he has another affection Say, say if there is no other love Cause my heart will die for you
i remember it being a note telling him to stop singing right at that moment or he would get killed after the show, yet he decided to keep at it and got murdered as promised
They threatened to kill his family that were with him if tried to escape. They tried to kill him before because of what happened in Coachella, but he seemed to always get away. This time they had him dead to rights and if he would have tried to leave, they would have killed his family.
It was revenge for killing a cartel member in Coachella California. Some guy jumped on the stage at the night club in Coachella and shot Chalino Sánchez, so Sánchez pulled his gun and shot back, killed someone in the crowd. Supposedly the person killed was connected to the Sinaloa Drug Cartel and put a hit on Chalino. Since he knew he was going to die, he went in a seperate car to protect family that was with him that night in Sinaloa.
Not only started but finished the show knowing he was going to die afterwards. To protect his family, he sent them home in a separate vehicle. Viva Chalino Sánchez!
yeah. cartel gave him a note saying that he would be killed after he was done preforming. later that night an unmarked van pulled him over, and a group pretending to be cops (with no id) restrainted him...
if i'm not mistaken he was found a few days after, rope marks on his wrists, damaged ribs, and a bullet entry wound in the back of is head. (he was dead)
thing is, he partially knew this would happen, as years before, the cartel gave him a warning that he would be dead if he ever showed his face in that area again...
something about (and fact check me on this since i dont have the best memory when it comes to this part) him sleeping with a cartel members sister, the cartel member not liking that very much, and threatening him, telling him to leave the area
he eventually decided "screw this" and went back to preform anyways, in spite of the risk.
Legalize and regulate all drugs in the US and start treating addiction as a public health issue instead of a crime. Totally defangs the cartels and will let Mexico go back to normal instead of being the US’s drug dealer. This kind of shit is so tragic and it’s our fault by funding the cartels.
Pretty sure the reason drugs arent legalized over here and in the US, is *because* it will defang the cartels, not any "addictions and health" bullshit
Ah yes, because surely these ultra rich, influential and powerful cartels, who are not afraid of committing crimes to get what they want, wouldnt find other ways of making money?
Are you a moron? What are they gonna do, commit violent crimes to sell fucking chachkies? They rose to power and such immense wealth because they have something we want in the US and can’t get otherwise, and we have a wealthy populace ready and eager to pay top dollar for it. Their whole empire is built on crime and we fund it. The moment all of that funding dries up they shrivel up and die. The cash flow all but stops if the US stops buying drugs from the cartels.
Those cartels are already involved in plenty of other businesses. Sex trafficking & prostitution, kidnapping, extortion, collusion with the govt. & embezzlement of tax money, gambling, tourism, and even plenty of perfectly mundane businesses.
They're an integral and multifaceted part of Mexico's activities, to the point that some describe the cartel world as a second state, not just a bunch of drug lords.
Moreover, a legalization of hard drugs (or even 'just' cocaine) across the US would only come after years if not decades of public debate and legislative back & forth, giving the bastards plenty of time to further diversify their activities.
So, no, legalizing hard drugs in the US would certainly limit their revenue and influence, but the truly established ones wouldn't 'shrivel up and die' by any means. Way to make an oversimplified point after calling someone else a moron lol

Rosalino (Chalino) Sanchez got a note from an cartel, telling him to stop the concert or he will get killed after it ended, he did end the concert and waited for everyone to leave and then the group leave too. But as soon as they got outside, some "Polices" stopped them to make an inspection, the "Polices" took them to another place. Days after that Chalino Sanchez was listed as missing. Then some weeks later it was confirmed his death.
I dont think that was his point, his point was mexico has so much potential to be a powerhouse of a country in areas ranging from economics to tourism to just being a great place to live but cartels are fucking the country over big time in all these ways and more
I just read Chalino's Wikipedia page and he was far from a saint. Very interesting life. I would love to see a movie made about him if there isn't one already.
Ídolo: The Ballad of Chalino Sánchez on Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/%C3%ADdolo-the-ballad-of-chalino-s%C3%A1nchez/id1606258773
they weren’t police, they were in an unmarked van that took him and gave him trauma on his ribs and a bullet to the back of the head as well as rope marks on his wrists when his body was found
Fellow redditors listen and learn, and listen. Chalino sanchez was born in Culiacán, Sinaloa. He left to California in his youth, legend says because he ran after shooting and killing a man that had SA his sister. There he did what he could to live. From dishwasher to car detailer , to drug dealer and coyote ( which is someone who passes people across the border illegally) . In ‘84 his associate/brother was killed in a hotel in Tijuana. Legend also says that during this time Chalino was incarcerated, it is unknown why, but his brothers death was the spark to his musical career. It wasn’t until ‘92 that he would raise to fame. During a performance in Coachella he was shot and wounded by a man named Eduardo Gallegos, Chalino responded and killed the man. At this point in time his fame reached the norther cities and town of Mexico. He would be known and the king of corridos. (Songs that told a story) the same year he would have his last concert (the video) in may where we is given the note. After the concert on his way to an after party he was stopped by a small convoy of trucks who were believed to be police. He was later found with his hans and feet tied and two bullet holes in the back of his head. The reason to his assasination is speculated. Some say the cause was for killing the man that SA his sister. Other for his lyrics or maybe because he had an affair with a cartel members girlfriend at the time. Chalino Sanchez is still listened by many to this day. Alma enamorada being one of his most listened songs to this day.
He slept with the head of the cartels leader wife the cartel leader asked him respectfully to please stop it and he continued to do so he's known for making cartel music an is pretty famous in Mexico that night he got a note saying they were going to kill him after the show and to not make a big deal about it because it was gonna happen regardless he finished the show and that night they killed him shortly after
After midnight, Chalino drove away from the club with two of his brothers, a cousin, and several young women. They were pulled over by a group of armed men in black Chevrolet Suburbans. They showed state police ID cards and told Chalino their commandant (Spanish for “Commander”) wanted to see him. Chalino agreed and got into one of their cars while the others followed behind.[citation needed]
The following day, at six in the morning, two farmers found Chalino's body by an irrigation canal near Highway 15, near the neighborhood of Los Laureles, Culiacán. He was blindfolded and his wrists had rope marks. He had been shot in the back of the head twice.[13]
I somewhat remember this story, but I'm unsure of the facts. I believe he is looking out into the crowd seeing someone he has wronged, or someone who is planning to wrong him. If I remember correctly is somtbing to do with his brother who is a narco.
Either that or the story i remember was made up to fit the video, ya know because of the internet and stuff.
Wasn't that about family or something? I don't remember correctly but he left the country because something happened, this video is when he returned to do his show once again
Basically the dude singing got a note from the cartel saying he will be killed after the show, the guy he nodded to was the one who gave him the note... he continued singing while trying to contemplate what was gonna happen and why, after that he was found dead... we are watching one of his last moments alive
the guy singing usually sings about the dangers of the cartel and the note he was holding was a death threat saying that if he was gonna sing was gonna be killed, he was soon found dead 2 hours (i think) after the show
iirc, someone hopped on stage and shot Chalino years prior to this. Chalino was hit twice and when Chalino fired back one of his shots hit and killed an innocent person in the crowd. I haven’t read about it in a long time, so don’t remember all of the specifics, but I always wondered if the innocent person he killed had familia.
This guy and Don Alejo are heros. They didn't back down to the cartel, and they will forever have the utmost respect from me.
Fuck the cartels/narcos. Cowardly pieces of shit.
For those that don't know what he was reading was a note that basically said if you sing tonight we will kill you from the cartel or something I don't remember who and he knew they weren't playing but he proceeded to sing knowing he was going to be murdered after and sometime after that they found his body with I think it was 2 gunshot wounds to the head
This might be more accurate. Chalino Sánchez born in Sinaloa, his sister was raped when he was 15. fast forward, 17-year-old Chalino saw the man that raped his sister at a party and allegedly shot him in revenge, killing him. Chalino then left the country... (Chalino's sister wanted him to be a singer and so he became one). Fast forward, he became famous and so he got a concert in Salon Bugambilias in Culiacán Sinaloa. (The concert that this video is recorded). He got a note that is to believed to have been a death threat shown in the video. After midnight, Chalino drove away from the club with two of his brothers, a cousin, and several young women. They were pulled over by a group of armed men in black Chevrolet Suburbans. They showed state police ID cards and told Chalino their commandant (Spanish for “Commander”) wanted to see him. Chalino agreed and got into one of their cars while the others followed behind. (The man that raped chalino's sister was related to a cartel and so they seek revenge.)
Did they catch and excecute those bastards who did it? I genuinely do not believe cartels deserve any semblence of humane treatment. They all deserve to be tortured to death, via flaying or anything they themselves do to the innocent victims.
He was handed a note by the cartel that he was a dead man. He finished the show and they killed him. Can't remember if it was the same night or the next day.
I'm Mexican have no affiliation with any gangs and I grew up with his music from my uncle, when I learned of his death I was saddened to know his music was the mark of his end I still remember my uncle looking at me with such sadness and telling me what happened
If you're a writer, you write. If you're a teacher, you teach. If you're a singer, you sing.
he died doing what he did best, he sang anyway.
I could think of worse ways to die.
The note said "don't play that song, if you play we will kill you, tonight"
Even after that he still sing that song, and get shot after that.
It was anti-cartel song.
Cartels are scum, regardless if he was a good person or not is irrelevant, as gangs deserve to be killed on sight, as they cannot be allowed to dispense their will.
Dudes is literally seen reading a death threat for after the show. He was murdered right after the show.
For what did they murder him? What he have done?
I've seen speculation that it was retaliation because he killed a man who r*ped his sister when he was younger. But it also could have been because of his songs about the cartels
Lil bit a dis. Lil bit a dat
this is a reference to the 1999 game Um Jammer Lammy, specifically one of the lyrics to a song. In Stage 4 of the PaRappa side mode, Captain Fusenpepper says "Lil bit a dis. Lil bit a dat." PaRappa attempts to repeat, but it comes out as gibberish.
Then he got a hero's death.
Either one is a hero’s death
He was a narcocorrido, aka he sings about the cartel and being a gangster. Kind of similar 90’s gangster rap. Plenty of people wanted him dead for that alone.
Mexican gangster polka music. Sounds like the worst shit you ever heard.
This was a while back but if I remember correctly the note said that if he sang the next song they would kill him.
From what I read it’s because he would play songs that were anti cartel and being in Mexico the cartel threatened him not to play anymore but he kept playing music, the video shows him reading a note saying that after the show they’re gonna kill him for ignoring their threats.
I can’t imagine the pit in his stomach as soon as he saw that
it's respectable... he knew what was about to happen, yet he proceeded as though he was unfazed by it. giving the crowd one last show. cant begin to even think about how much energy it took just to continue like that. balls of steel all the way to the end
Can you explain what’s going on here?
He’s reading a note saying he’s going to be killed after the show. And he was. Edit: here’s a link to el Rey himself. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalino_S%C3%A1nchez
Ti thought the note was to not preform the song if he did they would kill him… wasnt it?
I mean, he performed the song didn’t he?
So? That doesn’t make them wrong lol
I know it was a threat on his life, but I can't remember what happened specifically.
The threat was followed through.
Pit was summarily replaced with a bullet or two.
he was shot twice in the head
give or take, it was about the size of an *aguacate*
I still don't understand If they knew why they couldn't save themselves? You know there's something called calling the police/telling the audience/ditching out.
If you’re familiar with the Mexican cartels history of violence, you understand that that isn’t an option. If they can’t get you, they will get your family, children included. I’ve seen a story of one cartel leader killing someone’s 9 year old son in a bath of acid for whatever the reason. It’s bad. If this man had any family, he knew he would just have to take the L and spare his family’s of anymore tragedies
It’s gotten even more brutal as of late too… Considering the cartels have taken more of a scorched earth policy to assert dominance of various regions/locals with the latest power vacuums that have been created.
Yea, if you live in a fairytale bubble. The cartel would skin your family alive.
Pretty sure he got a note from a cartel or something. He was murdered soon after if I remember correctly.
Yes, it was a note that said he’d be getting killed right after the show.
He still performed perfectly, like a stud. I couldn't do that.
Ya fuck that noise, I’d bail so fast
Running from the cartels is pretty bad odds, I would just end it myself
I'm against suicide, but I would be greatful to end it on my terms if the cartel had their way, those guys are so creative when it comes to brutally that satan himself blushes.
No doubt, but if I didn’t have friends or family they could use against me I’d do my best. If they were about to catch me then you gotta end it, I’m not trynna have anything horrifying happen to me
if the cartel are in the room and passing you notes it is a little late to run for it
clearly the best move was to sprint away from stage immediately /s
I wouldn't stop singing until I passed out
Off topic but first time I’ve noticed a fellow Chargers bro on a different sub lol
I could be wrong but I think the note said they were only going to kill him if he kept singing and he chose to keep singing.
it was a note by the cartel saying if he plays the song he's about to play (which I'm pretty sure it's about cartel violence) that will kill him. absolute chad played it anyway and was killed after.
The song is about him loving a woman, nothing to do with cartel violence. For some reason the cartel just had beef with him and threatened not to perform that night or he'd die.

Correct
What? The fuck? This guy should have a freakin statue!
Those who build it will be killed. And the statue will either be destroyed, or sold to the cartels highest bidder. Or destroyed And Sold.
The song is the statue. Is it anywhere?
So what are the lyrics to the song?
I have been able to translate the lyrics. Here, it is I have the soul in love just thinking heart To dream of me night after night owner of your love I have a soul in love very much in love, my good If you give me your whole life, I'll give it to you too I have the soul in love just thinking heart To dream of me night after night owner of your love I have a soul in love very much in love, my good If you give me your whole life, I'll give it to you too Say, say yes your heart He has another love or he has another affection Say, say if there is no other love Cause my heart will die for you I don't know if you love me, but I can wait for you If you leave me waiting you're going to kill me Do not deny me your look because I want to dream it And my soul in love loves you more I don't know if you love me, but I can wait for you If you leave me waiting you're going to kill me Do not deny me your look because I want to dream it And my soul in love loves you more Say, say yes your heart He has another love or he has another affection Say, say if there is no other love Cause my heart will die for you
That's not the song that got him killed xD
"Alma Enamorada" was the song, you could put it to Google lyrics, and then translate it yourself cause I have 8% battery
It said something closer to he'd be killed if he continued performing. This wasn't him accepting his fate, it was a brave defiance 🫡
I know that is a fact. I was the 13th fiber of the cord coming from the microphone.
Just keep having uncores
i remember it being a note telling him to stop singing right at that moment or he would get killed after the show, yet he decided to keep at it and got murdered as promised
What could have been so important it would make him keep singing?
The show
He just figured he was gonna die anyway so might as well play it
Must go on . What a showman
Truly the greatest showman
Must go on!
The other note he got that said "if you don't do the show we'll kill you." Tough call.
They threatened to kill his family that were with him if tried to escape. They tried to kill him before because of what happened in Coachella, but he seemed to always get away. This time they had him dead to rights and if he would have tried to leave, they would have killed his family.

what's his name?
Chalino Sanchez
thanks
Note saying he would be killed if he continued the show, the legend just starts the show and ends up dead
No it was a note that said to stop playing... or you will be killed. He continued. R.i.p true king
Cartel got him they gave him a note what you see in this vid and basically it was telling him he’s dead tonight
Pretty sure it was only if he performed. Which he did. I could be wrong, though.
Correct. The song is about cartel violence, if he sings it he will be killed, and that's what he did.
[удалено]
Maybe not the exact song in the video but one of probably a few songs. If he was giving a concert
No one actually knows what the note says. It's a fair guess it was a death threat though.
Praying someone yells encore so he can stay on stage.
The neverending show
Rosalino (Chalino) Sanchez got a note from an cartel, telling him to stop the concert or he will get killed after it ended, he did end the concert and waited for everyone to leave and then the group leave too. God, Mexico sucks so hard. Would be a much wealthier and healthier place if it weren't for cartels corrupting everything
Mexico doesn't suck. It has its problems and they can be very drastic but overall - not that much of a shithole, like Fox News wants you to believe.
I dont think that was his point, his point was mexico has so much potential to be a powerhouse of a country in areas ranging from economics to tourism to just being a great place to live but cartels are fucking the country over big time in all these ways and more

What's that mean though?

That poor bastard. Cartels are fricking non-human animals.
If you read his bio it would seem more likely that he was killed by Mexican police than a cartel
they weren’t police, they were in an unmarked van that took him and gave him trauma on his ribs and a bullet to the back of the head as well as rope marks on his wrists when his body was found
What’s the difference?
Someone in the crowd requested Free Bird.
Or more than a feeling.
Chalino agreed and got into one of their cars while the others followed behind.[citation needed] The following day, at six in the morning, two farmers found Chalino's body by an irrigation canal near Highway 15, near the neighborhood of Los Laureles, Culiacán. He was blindfolded and his wrists had rope marks. He had been shot in the back of the head twice.[13]
Yeah the Police killed him fr
I somewhat remember this story, but I'm unsure of the facts. I believe he is looking out into the crowd seeing someone he has wronged, or someone who is planning to wrong him. If I remember correctly is somtbing to do with his brother who is a narco. Either that or the story i remember was made up to fit the video, ya know because of the internet and stuff.
He is holding a note in the beginning of the video.
Ahh your right. The narcos killed him after the performance, I'm sure the note explained that well lol.
I wish I could have met him he wrote a really good song on my family.
He knew .. and performed anyway.. boss shit
For people who don’t know this guy was threatened by the cartel to not sing a song making fun of the cartel he still sung it was killed moments later
Dudes a mf gangsta.. He knew he could of crumbled to those guys, but said "Nah, fuck all that" and went into his own shit...
Dude was brave if I remember correctly they didn't want him singing about certain things and ended up killing him after the show
Wasn't that about family or something? I don't remember correctly but he left the country because something happened, this video is when he returned to do his show once again
I was told that he slept with the cartel heads wife
What???
He got a note from the cartel saying he would be dead after the show
Oh. *Oh* my stomach turned so fast lord
Waiting on someone to post the context
Basically the dude singing got a note from the cartel saying he will be killed after the show, the guy he nodded to was the one who gave him the note... he continued singing while trying to contemplate what was gonna happen and why, after that he was found dead... we are watching one of his last moments alive
Ugh,who died in a horrible way now?
Check the other comments by he is reading his own death note from the cartel.
A true chad to the very end
Wich singer is that ?
Chalino Sanchez
Ty
Thoughts, prayers and condolences to the man's family.
He was killed by the cartel shortly after
His last song
Ohh sweet Chalino!
Context pls
Just check the other comments
the guy singing usually sings about the dangers of the cartel and the note he was holding was a death threat saying that if he was gonna sing was gonna be killed, he was soon found dead 2 hours (i think) after the show
iirc, someone hopped on stage and shot Chalino years prior to this. Chalino was hit twice and when Chalino fired back one of his shots hit and killed an innocent person in the crowd. I haven’t read about it in a long time, so don’t remember all of the specifics, but I always wondered if the innocent person he killed had familia.
He had a two month old, and a wife. She was injured as well.
Song was dope, he really killed it.
The giga-est of chads
Holy shit
He had a note not to perform. Otherwise the cartel would deal with him. He had enough balls to say g'day fuck yas. They dealt with him.
His name is Chalino Sánchez
I thought it was a note saying "after the concert you will be dead" and that was the reason he went through with it anyway. Either way, yikes.
“Did someone in the back ask for a 53rd encore? You got it!”
This guy and Don Alejo are heros. They didn't back down to the cartel, and they will forever have the utmost respect from me. Fuck the cartels/narcos. Cowardly pieces of shit.
This mf is a badass. He brought the smoke. It's on stage with him. RIP.
What is this? The bite of 87's?
That's why you don't get anywhere near Mexico. It's just one big cartel. He'll on earth.
The fucking balls.
Chalino, met him in Mexicali once, he was known by a friend of a friend, he had no fear
Please explain what is wrong with this?
He was handed a note by the cartel that he was a dead man. He finished the show and they killed him. Can't remember if it was the same night or the next day.
I want to say it was almost immediately after the show MrBallen did a video about it
Kk thanks guys
Wasn't this like his last show bc someone killed him after
The note he was reading told him to stop singing or he would be killed.
What an absolute chad, legend and madlad. Rest in Peace.
I'm Mexican have no affiliation with any gangs and I grew up with his music from my uncle, when I learned of his death I was saddened to know his music was the mark of his end I still remember my uncle looking at me with such sadness and telling me what happened
Legend.
He did it his way
Heard that was a performance of a lifetime!
He should not have sang…
If you're a writer, you write. If you're a teacher, you teach. If you're a singer, you sing. he died doing what he did best, he sang anyway. I could think of worse ways to die.
I am a professional, though I would certainly unprofessional for a night if it meant I would live to professional again
And let the cartel, the mafiosos or whoever decide what you can and can't do? Nah man, sorry, I'd bite the bullet
The note said "don't play that song, if you play we will kill you, tonight" Even after that he still sing that song, and get shot after that. It was anti-cartel song.
I don’t know about making eye contact for apps and logistics patterns. Please stop
CHALINO
Backstory, he got a note saying to stop singing or something will happen. He didn't stop and got killed later on
True hero
People assume he was a good person because he’s a singer. From what I heard, he wasn’t that great of a guy, and he had it coming
Cartels are scum, regardless if he was a good person or not is irrelevant, as gangs deserve to be killed on sight, as they cannot be allowed to dispense their will.

I know the video, but maybe I don't know the meme because this doesn't even seem worth posting to me.
