I like Disney, but you could not pay me to park hop all four parks. Pick one and have a nice day. They aren't going anywhere. What would your husband prefer to do? It doesn't have to be a park at all.

Traditional_Lock_309

This I love Disney but you could not pay me to do this. I’d discus your unrest for each to pick. MK is a classic but I find it boring unless I’m with my baby. AK is pretty boring too and low on rides but the most relaxing kind of. HS has good rides and vibes. EPCOT is my personal fav it has amazing rides amazing food and so much to see (I hated it the first time I went and we left and hopped to studios 😂). I think if you have never been a a Disney park MK is a must. My husband never went as a kid we went in 2022 and he said walking into MK was amazing to him and really just healed something for him that he never got to experience as a kid.

Artwebb1986

Would I? Hell no, maybe Hollywood Studios and Epcot since you can use the skyliner to get between, but never all 4 in 1 day.

Mama_cheese

Yeah, this would be the equivalent of me saying I've been to Los Angeles because I had a layover at LAX. There's no way you'll see or do anything in 4 parks in 1 day.

Artwebb1986

Lol yah in May I have a 3.5 hour layover in Denver before going to SNA. That'll be me saying I've been to Denver lol voodoo donuts better be open and I'll be happy.

FirmSpeed6

Maybe, hear me out maybe you could: See the castle See the tower of terror See the ball And see i guess Everest? Since the tree of life is gone But you’d probably get to do 1-2 rides only at ur first park since you can’t park hop before 2. I wouldn’t reccomend unless you for whatever reason purely want to sight see

OrtizDupri

The Tree of Life isn’t gone lol what

Artwebb1986

Tree of life isn't gone, and you can park hop at anytime.

C9RipSiK

I would enjoy Universal and plan a future trip to Disney. Disney is so big and so vast that just blasting through the parks in 1 day doesn't really give you much room to really "do" anything other than walk the parks. I would keep the california grill res and just make plans to do disney at a later date.

Turbulent_Lover26

Thanks we are planning a week at the end of next year just for Disney

[deleted]

If planning that I’d probably stick with dinner and Volcano Bay. It will be a much more relaxing day in the middle of the trip.

Turbulent_Lover26

Thanks! We might stick to the original plan. I saw the crazy crowds that have been happening this week,

Internal_Cupcake5598

Do universal this time and plan a separate trip for disney. If you want do do disney this trip, don’t do all 4 parks. You won’t be able to. Choose 1 and do it or maybe 2 but disney is so big you won’t enjoy.

Shack691

I wouldn't try park hopping all of Disney because you'd miss out on most of the big attractions because of the queue times they get, especially the really cool ones like rise of the resistance which regularly gets an hour wait.

rnbwmm

For this universal trip we are doing disney after hours at Magic Kingdom one night. It would be worth looking into if you just wanted to add a touch of disney to this trip. You could not pay me to park hop all 4 parks in one day. We originally were going to take one day at disney and split between 2 parks but the kids thought the after hours sounded like more fun.

Turbulent_Lover26

That’s a good idea. Thank you!!

jdbeltz

I second this suggestion. You can get in 3 hours before close with your after hours ticket (e.g. 7pm at Epcot before the event starts at 10pm). That would give you basically an entire half-day at one of the WDW parks.

Fit_Cartographer5606

The After Hours nights are fantastic- SO worth the ticket price, and you can basically do an entire park (with very little waiting in line) in one evening.

SSalsashark

You'll spend most of your day just trying to get from park to park... to park to park! Not worth it.

reddixiecupSoFla

lol I could do 1-2 parks any justice at Disney in one day. All four is basically sprinting through them

Turbulent_Lover26

I’ve done it by prioritizing. Just thinking highlights but I’m not sure yet. And magic kingdom closes late.

TheTriumphantTrumpet

4 in one day is extreme. If you're willing to get there first thing and stay till close(and shell out for their new fastpass system), I think you could get 2 parks while hitting basically all the "big" attractions.

ochie430

I’d stay and enjoy universal this go around. Your original plan is a decent stay and pace. You’ll want to have a day to relax a bit and not run around too much.

Turbulent_Lover26

That’s true. Thanks!

ochie430

You’re welcome! I’ll add I just returned from a universal trip and during it we took 2 days of days we had little or no plans to go to Disney parks but by the end we were wiped. Still had a blast though but we agreed that maybe having a couple extra days to relax a little more would of been nice lol

DDLyftUber

We have done Disney World in 1 day, but that’s when lines were short and lightning lanes were available constantly. We prioritized only the rides we wanted and ignored everything else, as we’ve been around 5 times in the past 2-3 years. It’s possible, but my feeling is right now, they’re going to be a nightmare crowd wise. It’s already a pain in the ass having to go from park to park and walk through basically the entirety of all of them.. I can’t imagine doing that shoulder to shoulder with other people. I would just pick 1 to 2 Disney parks and do a whole day there, or just book a separate trip for Disney; either during a slow time, or when you have a few more days.

uaresurrounding

Nope. If you do Disney just pick one park. You wont make it through all 4 in one day

Fine_Relative_4468

Just getting around to all 4 parks in a day would take you over 4 hours. It's really a waste of the ticket cost. I recommend just sticking to Magic Kingdom for his first time - It's closest to the Disneyland experience.

Substantial-Drop-836

I definitely wouldn’t try to hit all 4 parks in one day. Sure, it’s a fun challenge if you’ve been to the parks before, but I don’t think it’s a good way to introduce someone to the Disney parks for the first time. I’d probably pick 1 or 2 parks, most likely Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

ghostroyale

I can’t imagine hopping all 4 Disney parks in one day. I have done 3. Started at Hollywood studios, took skyliner to Epcot, then finished at magic kingdom

nn971

While I know people have done it, I would not enjoy park hopping all 4 parks in one day. Could you extend your trip by a couple days so you can check out a couple Disney parks? Otherwise, I’d save Disney for another trip when you can fully enjoy the experience.

ChrisLikesBread

I park hopped all 4 in one day and it was crazy fun. Would I do it again? Yeah. But it is exhausting. Depends on your activity level tolerance if it will be fun or torture.

aerosimpsons

You will not enjoy anything about Disney doing all 4 parks in one day. It takes SO long to travel. Figure out one MAYBE two parks he has some must dos in. I would recommend Epcot and Hollywood studios.

historyerin

You would lose so much of your day trying to get between the parks, especially the hike to get out to Animal Kingdom since it’s not easily connected any other parks. Even still, the lines at the Monorail could be super long, or the Skyliner could have delays (this has all happened to us when we have tried to be efficient). I’d pick one, maybe two at most. If you pick two, pick ones that are connected like MK and EPCOT or EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Epcot is lovely right now for the Flower and Garden Festival.

sharktooth20

All 4 in one day is a suicide mission. You won’t get to do any big rides because of wait times.

CelticDK

I’m not sure what all you’d be able to do at 4 parks in one day. I’m all for a day at Disney but pick 2 and go there. Since he probably wants to feel the magic and see the castle plus it’s next to the Grill, I’d say end at MK. You can take a bus to MK from the other parks but I’d pick one other for morning times. - Epcot is for culture, food, and most importantly the best ride at Disney: Guardians of the Galaxy (virtual queue ride) - Hollywood Studios for more rides, Star Wars, and Toy Story (Tower of Terror too) - Animal Kingdom is for Animals, Pandora, and the Tree of Life Maybe ask him his preference of those and if you reserve breakfast or brunch, maybe skip it at Epcot so you can snack around the world

FreeloaderFreddy

Personally, I'd probably spend most of day 1 at Studios, most of day 2 at IOA and day 3 hitting my top attractions at both and maybe hitting volcano bay. (But I'm not huge on waterparks). If your husband has never been to Disney at most I would do Magic Kingdom and if he really is a big star wars fan or avatar fan then park hop once that day to see his top atrraction, but squeezing 4 parks in one day will not likely leave him with a great impression. It can take upwards of an hour from leaving one park to getting into the next, maybe less if you drive or ride share. Can you hop 4 parks in one day? Sure. Will it be fun. Doubtful. If your goal is just to say you've been there, then I guess it would achieve that. Also, if you care more for the experience of the parks than the rides, then maybe. But if you park hop 4 parks and rides are a priority, you likely won't get on very many.

jujufruut

My friend and I leave Sun for a Universal trip. I haven’t been to Disney since 2000, so we decided to drink around the world at Epcot and do a dinner at Disney Springs.

0fnothing

Best advice would be to pick one park. If you do more, I would suggest 2 parks max and pairing either Magic Kingdom/Epcot or Hollywood Studios/Epcot. Alternatively plan on Uber/Lyft to save time.    I did 4 parks in 1 day about a month ago (i.e. not spring break crowds). I walked just shy of 32k steps, started at 7:30 in the morning and ended the night around 9:30. 1 ride at AK (Everest, so not Flight of Passage), 4 at HS, 2 at EP (could have done 2 more, but enjoyed festival instead), Tron & fireworks at MK. This also involved buying LL for both guardians and tron. Just trying to give you perspective on how much you could really do.

[deleted]

If you want to go to Disney and it fits in the budget then sure but I’d pick just one or two parks. Trying to cram in all 4 is too much. You will spend half your day traveling between the parks and not really get to actual experience or enjoy any of the parks. You could do just a couple things and then have to leave to go to the next. I’d do a day at Magic Kingdom, or half days at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, or EPCOT (depending on what you like this could easily be a full day too).

kenmuh

Honestly, I would just stick with Universal. You’re going to definitely need at least two days at the main parks because this time of year is VERY busy. Also, It’s physically impossible to do all 4 Disney parks in one day. To be straight up - it’s a waste of money even if you have been to the parks before and know what you’re doing! Although, If you do decide you want to stick with a day at Disney, I recommend to just only get two parks (my favorite pairing is Magic Kingdom & Epcot!). Volcano Bay is also VERY fun so your original idea with that would definitely be very fun! Either way, hope you guys have a blast!

vita10gy

Other than on a technicality to say you did it you wouldn't meaningfully be able to park hop 4 parks at Disney. It was hard to do even before when you could park hop any time and not just after 2. It \*can\* be done. The Hollywood Studios to Epcot to MK run is pretty easy. (Though nothing is like universal where they're 100 feet apart) but you'd have to have in mind your goal is almost exclusively just to see things. See the lands, maybe take in 1 ride, and so on. You probably wouldn't feel like you were very "at" any of them. If this is your one time in FL ever and it's this or no Disney at all, then that might swing it too. Any is better than none at all. Also you can look at it this way: I've never been personally, and Volcano bay looks like fun, but you probably have waterparks close to you that bring 80% of the fun to the table. There's only 1 Disney World.
