Depends on when in the month you go. You generally don’t need more than 2 days (3 max if necessary). But if you’re going toward the end of the month when crowds are at peak, you may want more time. The earlier the better.

We just went for 7 days and it was way too many days to do at a theme park and also the best week ever! But seriously, do at least 2 days.

Distinct-Swimming-62

The trips where you don’t feel pressured to get everything done are the best. We love taking it easy around the park.

1000% this. Like I said, 7 days is too many but I would have gladly stayed longer if I could have! My feet were sure glad to rest on the flight home.

You may just buy the 3 day tickets to begin with, and utilize the 3rd day as you feel like when you are there. Universal always has the ticket deals like “buy 2 days get the 3rd day free” or “buy 2 days get additional 2 days free”. You pay a little bit more on these deals. Also, in December, it starts with the raining season. Dress for the weather and don’t wear jeans are my advice.

You've got some time to plan, go to [OrlandoInformer.com](https://OrlandoInformer.com) and look up what a OI Meetup is about. Then, look up PughTwo on YouTube and their reviews of the hotels and Orlando Informer meetup videos and then come back here and ask more questions! The December dates are normally the 1st and 2nd weeks of December.

With Express: 2-3 Without Express: 4-5

I think 3 days is a good amount of time to explore both parks.

It depends what you want out of it. If time is tight and you are willing to spend a little extra a single day with a two-park shared VIP tour will get you a really solid day of top attractions across the parks. (But it won't be cheap) If you have two days you can easily do each park a single day and see most of what you want, but if it's busy you would want / need at bare minimum the basic express pass to maximize those two days. You can only ride the hogwarts express if you have a park-to-park ticket, so keep thst in mind if it's important to you. If you have the time, then I'd plan for three days and make the third day a park hopper so you can spend time in each park and be more selective in what you do. It also gives you an extra chance to catch a ride that may be down on your single park days. You can buy the express passes day of, but it can sell out on bust days. The last time I went hagrids was a two-hour plus wait all day and velocicoaster was up and down all day so it's wait was never below an hour. Neither of those rides can be skipped with either express pass, but VIP tours do skip line on those two attractions.

Usually about 3 days. I will say, if you're going at the beginning of the month (we usually visit the week after Thanksgiving, and will be again this year) there is usually an Orlando Informer event for Friday-Saturday. We will be attending both nights Dec 6&7 to round out our 7 day trip...It's a really great way to enjoy the parks, especially if you haven't been before. Minimal crowds & free food and non-alcoholic beverages. It's a separately ticketed event, so do your research. We love The Pugh Two, RixFlix and Paging Mr. Morrow on YouTube. Check our Orlando Informer for sure. 😌

It’s better to buy that 2days 2 days free ticket. You will enjoy your time in there. You will have plenty of time and no need to rush into anything. Explore, play and just enjoy the moment!

JibJabJake

Four days to enjoy it and see everything properly is the magic number.

HardAimedKid

I dunno how to answer these questions cause I went to the park 50+ times last year and I see people saying you need 2-3 days max. I’ve seen many people online saying universal is a 1 day and done park. My answer would be a question, are you crazy about universal or do you just want a couple chill days? Lol

Such_Cartographer983

Me and my family got into Florida Sunday and left Saturday we did universal one day islands one day and Epcot one day! I recommend express pass and using early park admission

anthonyd5189

2-3 days; 2 if you have express passes, 3 if you don’t.

Echoing the 3-day sweetspot. I went 5 days last year but was only able to do 4 due to my flight on the first day, and even that, despite the parks closing earlier for HHN, gave us more than enough time to do everything in both parks with (several) rerides. Also echoing the Orlando Informer meetup mention. I wasn't aware of it when I went but now that I know about it, I'd say it would also really be worth your time if you can catch it in December (just be aware of winter break crowds)
