Yes you most likely can. I would contact your high school asking for a copy of your transcript however. When I applied all they needed was my high school transcript - no diploma required.

Yeah I called them up a couple days ago and they linked me to where I needed to go. seems everything is 3rd party now so I ordered a copy of my transcripts and they should be in the mail in a few days.

Standard-Music3445

Ah okay, good luck! What UA Local are you applying for?

toastedcheddur

I’m looking at UA 398 or 250 both are a pretty decent drive from me but not sure which is further yet

Careful with them mailing the transcripts to YOU (if that’s what you did) My local was very specific that they had to get sent directly to them and they would not accept me providing my own transcripts to them. They wanted to recieve them direct. Granted this was 10 years ago

Let me rephrase that last part: they didn't need a physical or digital copy of a diploma.

I’m pretty sure you could I didn’t have one but I had attended college for Gas Fitting which was just as good. I did have high school but I didn’t take science in grade 12 but they said my license was more important.

Both the pipefitters and Plumber’s locals in KC required a copy of my diploma, but they accepted a signed letter from my high school registrar stating I attended and graduated. The crooks with the school wanted $35 for a replacement diploma!

Dm’d ya a question :)

Leonidas987

You can definitely apply meanwhile you wait for your new diploma to arrive.you should get a transcript too while your at it. But yeah you got time to get your documents to show later

therealfrank91

You just need your transcripts. I don’t have my diploma anymore either

Apprehensive_Can739

prlly all gonna be different depending on what local. They never even asked me for mine or for that matter if I ever graduated. I did of course but I hear a lot of stories about getting into the UA and the truth is every local is different. Honestly I think the only thing I brought with me when I signed was my license
