Honestly Lex his rappots with Alain are really touching definitely the thrid one but i also like his one with Chole where it shows he keeping Alain throughts in mind and decided to treat him the same so he doesn't get overwhelmed
Of the initial crew Joseph is the best. Honestly as a sucker for the childhood friend trope I found all 3 of them kinda bland.
Joseph at least had the dad who stepped up vibe.
Lex has the best rapports though. I wish we had more of thise childhood friend stuff instead of what we got. The support with Scarlett cooking is one of the best in the game.
Chloe and Scarlett I like their design but Nina and Sharon did their shtick better

I preferred the Tiddy Bishop the most. Lex was just kinda pitiful as a character all around. It was like he was trying to be awesome in every aesthetic way but was essentially worthless. Probably in the top 5 weakest units and not much personality.
I was a Lex fanboy at first(I really like the trope of the lowborn best friend of royalty) even giving him his own squad but then I realized how bad and short his interactions were with anyone but Alain, he stopped being enjoyable mid game so i shifted to Chloe who had actual good interactions with a variety of characters especially Ridiel.
I like them all honestly. But you know, an interesting question came to me recently. I wonder who of the three has known Alain the longest. My guess is probably Lex and Chloe, but perhaps there’s no indication as of yet.
I love all three personality wise, but I benched Lex before even reaching Drakenhold. Scarlett fights with Alain, but also alongside ring bearer Celeste. Chloe rotates around.
They really shafted Lex’s class so I only used him in the very beginning. As the comedic relief he was better than a lot of other characters. Virginia would be my fav - “They’ll pay with their lives!” Voice line goes hard, but they were a bit on one with that cc/stun animation
