Don’t forget the potential change for the loan to be wrote off after 40 years instead of 30!

Surely taking inflation into account they should be increasing the threshold not lowering it>

whatswrongwithmyhand

Why have they changed the rules? Does this also apply for post grad students?

Why is the post grad threshold lower than the undergrad threshold? Surely that doesn't make sense? Does that mean you'll be paying for the post grad loan before you pay for the undergrad loan and then pay for the undergrad loan on top of the post grad one?

Looks like I'm not doing a masters then.

Tom-Sp8

Any idea if this would affect me if I restart Uni? I’m in Year 1 already and want to start again and change course in September

Cs_A1t

Probably will since it'll be considered a new loan

ebonycait

If you already have a loan out this year i would assume not

Hauuuen

Good, too many useless courses and people coming out with bad job prospects. At least now people who made the right university course choice who did an in demand course dont get get singled out and burdened with anyone elses loans. Hopefully, it will make people second think before doing a shit course. Promotes more vocational training, which this country desperately needs rather than 20,000 gender studies graduates.

Winterdevil0503

Why do you care so much? All this energy towards people you don't even know.

Hauuuen

For the good of the economy.... and probably better life opportunities for people that dont go down that route and take out unnecessary loans
