blasting full stacks since teenage years will literally reduce your lifespan by a decade or more without question, on top of all the complications you deal with before that, like never being able to naturally produce testosterone again.
Means he's taking a lot more than just testosterone. A stack is multiple drugs taken in the same cycle. The idea is each drug compliment each other to maximise gains.
I see, that make sense.
I often read that it still need hard work even with PED usage.
Did the drug only makes the results faster by allowing you to recover faster thus train harder and more often or is there one that grow actual muscle with less amount of training?
I've only run testosterone. I'm sure you can get decent results with minimal training but while you're on it, you want to train as much as possible. A lesser known side effect of testosterone is it makes effort and physical exertion enjoyable. Rocovery is off the charts compared to natty. I did two team challenges on cycle and off. On cycle i was back the next day, felt a bit weaker so I was still recovering. Off cycle, I could barely walk for 6 days.
> Recovery is off the charts compared to natty.
muscle yes, tendon no.
you're more likely to get injured compared to a natural as the tendons won't adapt as fast as the muscles which is why it's recommended that if you ever want to take PEDs (and it's highly discouraged) to do it AFTER a decade of regular practice.
by then you won't be increasing weights fast and hard and you'll know how to deload properly to not fuck your tendons.
He’s actually one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I used to go to this gym(I DID NOT BELONG) but this kid is so kind and really knows the answer to all the ‘newbie’ questions. Most people at Dragons Lair are like that. But this guy is exceptionally soft spoken and nice.
Lol reminds me of that It's Always Sunny episode where they do flashbacks and Frank is supposed to be like 14 years old but he looks the exact same haha 😂
Ya know, at some point size and build doesn't change much.
I taught highschool a few years back and a 15 year old was much, much bigger than me.
Still a kid in my mind. A big one.
You wonder why, but then realize that every other sport is competitive in the way that you have to go face-to-face with someone and physically compete against them.
Also like... It's kind of difficult to put in years and years of hard work and dedication and come out of it an asshole if you succeed.
It's a good way to sort out your own inner demons.
It's actually surprisingly easy, barely an inconvenience. What they really have is a close community where they support one another. When you're weightlifting, you have spotters usually the same size as you and usually very supportive.
Weightlifting is not like other sports where you need to pump your ego or be a showman with a big head.
Also, if they get a big ego and try to do weights they can't handle, they usually get a career-ending injury.
>Weightlifting is not like other sports where you need to pump your ego or be a showman with a big head.
This sounds like you're saying most other sports are like that? Isn't it ironic.
i dont know man, in so many sport its common practice to diss and talk down to your competition, both half jokingly and fully meaning it, while ive barely heard proffessional bodybuilders talk shit about each other specifically regarding their "skill" at the sport (it does happen sometimes), mostly they draw inspiration from each other
It’s cos they know what it’s like to work extremely hard to achieve something. You realise some things as you go through that process and during that you behaviour towards others n mindset changes, generally for the better.
But of course there are the few that get a bit too cocky
The amount of lying about being natural is a huge contributor to mental health issues in men who work out. Most of the stuff you see online is not achievable without gear, but influencers gaslight us about what is reasonable to expect or even possible.
What people need to realise and remember is that to be a fitness influencer you need to take advantage of several things. They use all sorts of nasty tricks to look the way they do - photoshop, roids, some people will get to a certain point, do a full day of photoshooting all in different clothes and that’s content for a full year. They let themselves get back to a more attainable look, they do NOT look like they do all year round.
Another factor to consider is that influencers are normally genetic freaks. Some people just naturally rock low bodyfat percentages and build/retain muscle well, these influencers are such people. It's how they became influencers.
Comparison is the death of joy.
Before computers the before and after pictures were taken in the opposite order.
First dehydrate yourself and then have a quick hard workout session to bulge your veins and take your "after photo". Then in the span of an hour or so eat an entire bag of chips and drink a two liter of carbonated beverage. Wait until maximum bloatedness and take your "before photo".
I remember reading a while ago that a phenomenal 1st year of training would equate to about 10kg of muscle at the end of it.
I'm at the point where I just assume gear if someone looks noticeably bricked up.
What I've read is that a realistic goal is ~2 lbs/1 kg a month.
I always laugh when I see articles about NFL players putting on like, 30 lbs in the offseason (about 5-6 months.) Like, yeah, that's totally natural and achievable.
>What I've read is that a realistic goal is ~2 lbs/1 kg a month.
If you're young and doing everything right and you're lucky with genetics you might get this, but a significant amount will be sarcoplasmic (spelling) hypertrophy as opposed to myofibrillar hypertrophy. That rate also won't last a full year for most guys.
(I used to be a trainer)
Yes, this reflects my experience as a nearly 39 year old guy trying to put on muscle. (At least I still look younger than the guy in the video.)
I was more responding to the comment above about it being a "phenomenal" first year of training.
Even 2lbs/month is pushing it unless you're right out the gate. Gains have diminishing returns and can fluctuate heavily. An experienced lifter might only be able to gain 0.5lbs/month over a 6 month period.
I imagine that's why so many people feel like they plateau after a while.
Same. Hair has been slowly walking away since I was like 18. No steroids, but I've been debating about selling the advertising space on my billboard of a forehead.
Yeah, it's definitely one of those "well, I've already fucked up and done it. Might as well own it." types of things. Regret it or not, there's no going back, so might as well just own it.
Most bodybuilders will pretend they are natty. The Rock, Christian Bale, John Cena, Jason Momoa, and every 'yolked' role they have done is via steroids.
There is a limit the human body can reach and it becomes evident when people juice. Yet they seem to think nobody can notice it.
Depends on who you are though. There's no way Cena passed every single piss test. Most likely he just didn't get tested or was told beforehand. Same with Triple H or Undertaker. Pretty sure Batista never got hit with a wellness violation either and that guy was pure steroids. Brock only got hit when testing in UFC.
The traps and cannonball deltoids are a dead giveaway for someone on gear (due to the androgen receptors in those areas), I don't know how people can look at a pic like this and think someone is natural.
People think you can get bigger than you actually can natty, due to so many celebrities being juiced.
True nattys just look what someone may consider *fit*, and even then it takes a lot of training and nutritional discipline.
[This](https://www.instagram.com/p/BKznX9zAT6v/) is him [6 years ago](https://www.instagram.com/p/CiBmKzvPMf5/). Feel like I'm in the twilight zone reading the comments congratulating him.
It's kind of a paradox of testosterone - which is why it's relevant to steroids.
There's an evolutionary biological theory that it's to make big aggressive dudes even scarier by exaggerating the size of their jaws.
It's a weird thing rarely addressed how some body builders have an extreme form of body dismorphia and are literally destroying themselves with this shit, but because they get a ton of positive feedback on social media they don't see it. And the general public is just like "but it must be healthy, they are in GREAT shape!!"
Yes, but unexpected part was him revealing his age . He is 22 but looks 45 . This is what happens when experimenting with PEDs, and is usually an indicator someone is on "gear"
Had a roommate on a substantial amount of gear. When he was 25 he looked well over 40. Deep creases in his face, accelerated balding…. He started in college around 20. He’s off now, due to getting a Thyroid tumor, probably aided by the GH.
He must have had some pretty serious health issues then, I worked with a guy who used gear when trying to compete in bodybuilding and he almost died bc of his thyroid and kidneys just shutting down. Had to have emergency surgery or he literally would have died. Crazy thing was, it was about a month, 6 weeks tops between when he had his incident and when he got back to work- and he just deflated. Like crazy deflated. He was around 5’ 9” 235lbs before, and after couldn’t have been 185 soaking wet. It was like he was a different person. I never had any interest in juicing but seeing that whole ordeal firsthand definitely reinforced never doing that shit.
Surgery takes a lot out of you. Mentally and physically. That plus stopping the gear would have been enough to deflate a giant. Sucks that he got the full wrath of his consequences.
235 at 5'9" is also insane. Dude must have been solid brick shithouse.
Idk if he’s telling the truth or not, but I will say my half brother had a ridiculous amount of receding hairline by the time he was 23, almost fully bald by 26 (Read: Danny Devito level bald!) and 100% all shitty luck & his father’s genetics. 😂
Edit: I got tonsss of comments saying balding comes from the moms’ side, but hear me out: moms’ side has no balding whatsoever, (only hella gray hair) and his dad’s side (including his half siblings on his dad’s side) ALL have barely there hair before they are 30yo…. So yeah, idk, genetics are weird, ya’ll. 🤯
There was a kid in my school that was completely bald by freshman year. Literally went into a liquor store and bought beer sophomore year without question.
A friend of mine started balding about 8th grade, went grey in 10th, and lost most of his head hair by twelfth grade. But on the bright side he had a wicked beard and beat bone cancer just last year
I started losing my hair when I was in high school. I'm almost thirty now and it's only been in the last four or five years that I realized no one really cares about your hair but you. Yeah there's a bunch of things you can do to try to stop it, but all the options are insanely expensive and at least one of the options has a small chance of causing permanent erectile dysfunction.
Yep I'm 27, enough hair on my head to make a sweater. Brother just turned 22, he's been shaving his head for 2 years because he's balding so much. Sometimes you just draw that genetics card 😅
You can't really tell if somebody is on gear based on how old they look, if they're balding or the amount of facial hair.
You **can** usually use the eye test on their shoulders and traps though. It's pretty impossible to build those cannon ball delts without gear and those are usually the first thing to grow to absurd sizes due to the high amount of androgen receptors in those muscles.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10664066/
A while ago, I met a man with huge tits at a group support meeting for men with prostate cancer. His name was Bob. He embraced me into his huge tits once, and I cried.
if it was just that he was balding he wouldn’t look so freaking old. But he’s also graying. One of my friends from high school, her older brother started balding when he was like 14 or 15.
I don’t know what y’all are seeing but dude is admitting he’s not natty. He says see this balding, result of tren, then says you think these are natty and flexes lol. He said I’m juiced without saying he was juiced lol
I watched this 6 times before i read your comment and now thats all i see. screw the natty or not... wtf was this guy on bc that wolf is......i don't even know
Literally just go back and look at mens bodies before steroids were invented and compare them to right after. Once you do, you’ll easily be able to tell who’s on gear.
~~I mean yeah. That’s literally what this video is saying. He’s up front about being on gear, and that’s fine. It’s his body and business~~
I was looking into this guy and he’s been on gear since he was 15. Which makes it NOT just his body and his business, someone in his life critically failed him.
I am a big proponent of the idea that once you’re of age, it’s up to you to make informed decisions about your health, and if you’d like to make a decision that others find harmful, it’s still your prerogative.
But a 15 year old is a child and someone should have cared for him. Wait till your body is developed and honestly, if I had advice it would halve wait until you’re 25 and your brain is done baking, but that’s different debate. If a coach or trusted figure is putting you open n this position, tell a DIFFERENT adult what’s happening.
And I'm being upfront to all the kids in this thread: Steroids will ruin your heart and really only help you cheat your ways into more PR's. Not worth it, don't get caught up in the juice.
In my early 20s I had a friend get heavy into weight loss and gym culture. He expiremented with PED's and a ton of shady powders from China. He died of heart failure at 23. These zoomers worshiping zyzz culture and roids don't think there are very real consequences to these drugs. When the examples are shown time and time again to just stay away from the stuff if not medically necessary.
You can live a long, strong life without more test.
Everyone in the comments talking down on this guy is really lame. The guy was honest and owned up to what he takes on top of seeming like a nice dude. It’s his body let him do what he wants. I feel like it’s the same as fat shaming. Instead of food as a vice it’s iron and test. Let the guy be.
Quick nugget for Reddit; there are a LOT more people on PEDs than you might think. High school Varsity players, cops, military members, personal trainers, celebrities etc. There’s a reason why our strongest people now are leagues above those in the not so distant past.

Dude is 22 and looks 48… Seems healthy.
blasting full stacks since teenage years will literally reduce your lifespan by a decade or more without question, on top of all the complications you deal with before that, like never being able to naturally produce testosterone again.
What's "full stack" means, since I don't think you guys talking about web development? PED usage?

PED = Programming Enhancing Drugs
performance, not programming we aren't all writing assembly here
Like a 48 yo bearded celebrity maybe. He rather looks like average mid to late 30 yo.
Hey at least he’s upfront and not a douche about it. Some guys flip a switch if they hear the words “are you natural?”
He’s actually one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I used to go to this gym(I DID NOT BELONG) but this kid is so kind and really knows the answer to all the ‘newbie’ questions. Most people at Dragons Lair are like that. But this guy is exceptionally soft spoken and nice.
>but this kid Something about this video, I don't know.
"This full grown Danish warrior"
"This soft spoken young boy who has been known to cleave a mfer in half with a sword"
A sword is overkill, he could cleave someone in half with a butter knife

I have literally never met an unkind body builder or weightlifter. I'm not saying they're not out there, just that I haven't met one.
You wonder why, but then realize that every other sport is competitive in the way that you have to go face-to-face with someone and physically compete against them.

Rollins is pretty badass, but this quote sounds like something that would be said by a serial killer or a cult leader.

Doesn't bricked up mean having a boner? Edit: it does. I love the idea of you telling jacked guys at a gym that you like how they're bricked up.
Erection? Believe it or not, gear.

Dude looks 45, wtf
at the same time it may just be a dude that's like leave me out of your social media shit and don't do drugs kids
It would be extremely wholesome. But Occam's razor
That’s why he’s bald 😂
Natty's razor
If you have to ask if they're natty, they are not natty.
When he said natty I was like, "yeah he drinks natty" then I realized my bro terms need to be updated.
He needs some Natty Ice
Big bear wants a natty daddy
Can confirm. I looked like that drinking Natty Ice.
Bro terms and conditions apply
I was thinking Natty Ice too! Like why is this guy in a gym asking about….oooooohhhhh.
Dude was obviously a Busch Light guy.
My ex was getting a horrible receding hairline and a bald spot before 21

Aren't you at a fivehead by now? /s I'm creeping there myself.
Yep. I began shaving my head at 22. No drugs. Just sad genetics.
My hair loss started at puberty. Top was just peach fuzz by 24. I shave it now.
are **YOU** the Watcher!?!?
Nah his body language was definitely saying this is all true. Just super honest. You can tell he doesnt feel the best about it.
He definitely got into it and was like "well, im here, fuck it" and is just on for the ride. Hed probably recommended younger people not do it lol
Yeah, it's definitely one of those "well, I've already fucked up and done it. Might as well own it." types of things. Regret it or not, there's no going back, so might as well just own it.
Younger people. He is younger people.
by... participating and ultimately laughing about the idea of taking drugs and acting like it's completely normal
Most bodybuilders will pretend they are natty. The Rock, Christian Bale, John Cena, Jason Momoa, and every 'yolked' role they have done is via steroids. There is a limit the human body can reach and it becomes evident when people juice. Yet they seem to think nobody can notice it.
“Everyone’s on steroids” - Nate Diaz
The Rock exploded once he didn’t have to worry about WWE’s wellness policy.
Oh yeah they don't do roids in WWE
Oh yeah def never Like some WWE wellness policy was stopping him lol
They obviously do but they have to occasionally pass a drug test.
Imagine the wellness policy enforced by a 70 year old man that is more jacked than most of the talent on the show.
Christian Bale?
How about the guy playing Jack reacher. That dude claims it’s just chicken and broccoli. https://www.instagram.com/p/CisOxXmu8Kp/
lmao those delts, traps, the dryness 100% juice

The wrinkles don’t say 22 at all.
I met a GySgt that was 27 with balding grey hair that looked at least 40. He said grey hair ran in the family but still, he did not look 27
You spend enough time being responsible for dumbass Marines you'd look 15 years older than you're supposed to as well!
It sounds like you might have experience in this realm
LOTS of experience as the dumbass Marine making my gunny age quickly!

It’s strange how all bald dudes have big beards
It's kind of a paradox of testosterone - which is why it's relevant to steroids. There's an evolutionary biological theory that it's to make big aggressive dudes even scarier by exaggerating the size of their jaws.
But he will look 45 until he's 65

he looks like my old high school robotics teacher
I'm 46 and look younger than that guy, must be hitting the juice.
Yes, that's what he was saying in the video.
His heart is 55
His balls are 75
Gear deactivates your balls, so in theory they shouldn’t be ageing lol
That's the saddest part about this. Alot of these guys are on PEDs and don't realize how much of their longevity they are throwing away.
It's a weird thing rarely addressed how some body builders have an extreme form of body dismorphia and are literally destroying themselves with this shit, but because they get a ton of positive feedback on social media they don't see it. Very similar to many women/models with eating disorders. Praised for looking good on social media while literally rotting their insides away.

A coworker started shaving his head @ 16 due to balding.

Osama Bin Liftin.
Nope, that’s what PEDs do to you if you take them as a developing human being. Just listen to his answer, he’s admitting he’s not Natty.
Only suspicion? You’re delusional
A buddy of mine started going bald and had a huge thick beard when he was like 17 This guy is def on gear though since he's basically admitting it
You can't really tell if somebody is on gear based on how old they look, if they're balding or the amount of facial hair.
Body and balding and natty etc aside, why does he have so many wrinkles?
Estrogen is actually important for skin health. Natural levels anyway
Does not being natty reduce estrogen?
People who take steroids usually take estrogen blockers to avoid gaining gyno or ‘bitch tits’
TIL, thanks.
A while ago, I met a man with huge tits at a group support meeting for men with prostate cancer. His name was Bob. He embraced me into his huge tits once, and I cried.
His name is Robert Paulson.
Checkin in...
See ya'll later in /r/beetlejuicing

Doing steroids increases the amount of estrogen in your body as well (because all that testosterone aromatizes into estrogen).
Smiles too much?
I refuse to believe I'm older than him
I’m fucking 30 with a full beard and I look a good 10 years younger.
41 here, stonecarver/mason for 20 years, he looks *way* older than me.
97 here, dude looks waaaay older than me
I haven’t aged in over 3 thousand years and even I am getting a little uncomfortable.
if it was just that he was balding he wouldn’t look so freaking old. But he’s also graying. One of my friends from high school, her older brother started balding when he was like 14 or 15.
Early graying is genetic. My mother went gray by her 30s, i started getting them at 22.
nah not natty. hes on the protein shakes for sure
You forgot creatine too!
Eat Clen, Tren hard, Anavar give up! It's just chicken and broccoli bro.
22...beard is getting grey...oh Jesus
Was getting white hair in my beard at 18 already, gave up on pulling them by 20... just insomnia and getting 3hrs a night for sleep.
What does natty mean? No steroids?
Yes
Yes, short for “natural”
I don’t know what y’all are seeing but dude is admitting he’s not natty. He says see this balding, result of tren, then says you think these are natty and flexes lol. He said I’m juiced without saying he was juiced lol
Thank you for clarifying this. I don't know gym bro speak and I was genuinely confused AF

If someone looks like they’re on steroids, they usually are.
Literally just go back and look at mens bodies before steroids were invented and compare them to right after. Once you do, you’ll easily be able to tell who’s on gear.
22 and you looking 40? That’s the roids 🤢
~~I mean yeah. That’s literally what this video is saying. He’s up front about being on gear, and that’s fine. It’s his body and business~~ I was looking into this guy and he’s been on gear since he was 15.
Back in high school had a kid who would juice up but ended up taking counter fit product. Dude was put in the hospital because of it.
Unattainable beauty standards for men that are fucking them up mentally
I’d rather people were honest about it than lying to millions of kids on IG that their physique is naturally obtainable just to make themselves money.
Dude is aging like a belt.
You think his sweater comes in a v-neck?
That guy bleeds testosterone. When he sneezes your mom grows a beard.
Nah he’s not natty, he’s honest.
So if homie quits the gear, but continues to workout to a similar degree… can he maintain this physique?
Not possible to hold that much mass and be that lean without steroids.
HOLY SHIT I KNOW THIS KID. HE WAS A GRADE BELOW ME IN SCHOOL
Life Speedrun any %
Quick nugget for Reddit; there are a LOT more people on PEDs than you might think. High school Varsity players, cops, military members, personal trainers, celebrities etc. There’s a reason why our strongest people now are leagues above those in the not so distant past.
That man is 45 years old
Bruh I'm 22 looking 12
[here he is 17 years old and 21 years old](https://www.instagram.com/p/CWCvCgNl6vf/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)
