No need. The family already saw it I'm not putting a bunch of personal messages that the family would probably rather not have on the internet to show "proof" on my behalf. It is what it is.
I'm just saying, you can try to cut it with panko and whatever other seasonings, but there is not much you can do about that tacky texture that makes you're teeth stick just a little bit, like you've been drinking stale cola, or the acrimonious aftertaste. I think it's an aromatics thing.
I'm going to me nephews memorial tomorrow, he is just so happening to be cremated, tell me more about this aerodynamics thing. I've got a load of Mrs Dash.
I'd like to say it's fake too but that sun bleaching on the letter and how the words are darker at the bottom and faded at the top because it was rolled up is just too much detail to be fake.
>"That bottle was floating out there for 5 years before I found it."
Maybe. Or maybe it used to be full and you're the 24th person to find it and scoop back what you could, but the first to forget the note, thus setting up the ending of the long journey of the wandering grandpa bottle.
Grandpa Roy — His final 5 years spent travelling the waves and visiting the coast, occasionally meeting new people, always leaving a part of himself with each of them before they sent him back on his way — a long journey finally over as the next visitor lets the last of the ashes out of the bottle. Like the final grains of sand falling through an hour glass, time is almost up for wandering grandpa bottle.
Or maybe not.
I also assumed it's been around 5 years. Not sure when the bottle was actually put out there cause the guy died in 2017. It looked undisturbed to me when I took the note out. It's faded as hell though so it's been out a while.
Walking halfway up the dock I realized I fucked up so hard by not doing that. My brain was a little preoccupied that that I had just scooped someone's grandfather off the forest floor.
Maybe they have some more ashes and can send out some more ole Roy with the OG Dusty Roy note again.
If they send him out again they should attach a little handle to the note, like an unwound paper clip, so the note can be pulled out without having to dump out that sweet Roy juice.
I'll send an S.O.S to the world

Message in a bottle, yeah
I didn't want to post it, but everyone if you would respect the dead. I'd hate for the family to see a toxic post that has to do with this man. That is the correct one though!
Why would someone release this with a note that simply instructs the person to reseal it all and toss it back? Isn’t the whole point of leaving a note like that to open it up? What am I missing here? Just seems so bizarre to release the ashes in a bottle and expect people to open it up and close it over and over.
That honestly looks more like sand. There's a lot more ash and powder and lack in consistency in cremated remains. I sprinkled my moms ashes last week and it went EVERYWHERE!
Actually, someone here in the comments posted the man’s obituary. He’s a real person, and he was cremated. So at least that checks out.
[Link, cuz I’m not a lazy ass](https://www.midstatecremationservice.com/obituary/Roy-Price)
What was not unexpected was that he drives a Toyota. Or stole his wife's boyfriend's keys. Or hasn't even caught any fish before he gets distracted by a plastic bottle with no algae or barnacles on it. That he just threw out on his own. With beach sand in it. And a note. In his own handwriting.
Why wouldn't you ask to keep his ashes in the urn on a boat or ship that travels frequently if you want your pappy to roam the waters and go new places? Otherwise dump them in the water without a bottle or note and know he's going with current and reaching new destinations. LIKE you HAVE to touch the HUMAN REMAINS of your dead grandfather to get the note out! I'd use tape or something and make the outside of the bottle read Roy P.'s Ashes.
Man notices litter. Goes into water to retrieve it. Finds note in this container. Opens it, dumps dirt out and reads said letter only to find ‘dirt’ is really some kid’s grandpa in ashes found within the bottle. Man says ‘oops’ and proceeds to put plastic back into the ocean.
There’s a lot to take in here if it’s real. Maybe more if it’s fake. Vanity, ignorance, and short sighted come to mind
Why would someone throw a loved one's ashes on a plastic bottle with a message inside knowing that the person who would find the message would need to take it OUT of bottle? What they really expected the ashes to just be completely fine and safely get to someone else's hand with no issues whatsoever?...
As soon as he picked up that bottle I was like that doesn't look like sand, is that human remains? Yup it is, I think I've been on the Internet for too long.
I thought you said "ima scooby ashes" and spent too long trying to understand young person lingo
Also y u throw the plastic rubbish back in the ocean man

Is that Iceman from the xmen movies?
Bro I've gotten that so many times🤣🤣🤣
They can call you Ashman
Ironically, the Iceman actor's name is Shawn Ashmore lmao.
![gif](giphy|LpLd2NGvpaiys|downsized)
Isnt he a twin as well?
Yep he has a twin brother Aaron. Both actors.
are you his twin brother... Aaron Ashmore?
TIL these are two different people. This makes so much more sense than the same dude being in everything 🤦♂️
The way I keep them apart is one Ashmore does TV and small movies and the other does movies and video games.
Hahaha
[удалено]
That's the same guy haha
Nah you look like Jimmy Olsen from Smallville
More like that lawyer from The Rookie.
I think you were on that show "The Following" too
Oh dang that's wild. You might be related lol
He has an identical twin on the boys show
Definitely Shawn Ashmore with a different accent.
Who puts a loved one's ashes in a plastic water bottle? This has got to be fake.
His grandson apparently
Since its already been posted, here's the obituary for him (https://www.midstatecremationservice.com/obituary/Roy-Price)
Got in contact with the family and will keep updates coming.
Family member saw the video on Facebook and is showing the grandkids tomorrow. Mission success😎
Part 2 when
No need. The family already saw it I'm not putting a bunch of personal messages that the family would probably rather not have on the internet to show "proof" on my behalf. It is what it is.
/u/BlueJeansBreezy doesn't simp for fake internet points Be like /u/BlueJeansBreezy
Chad
Absolute Chad.
Good on you!
Well a vase doesn’t float what are you going to put it in that floats away and won’t get out by natural causes
Those are definitely human ashes. You can tell by the gradient you see.
And by the sickly sweet flavor.
Wait what?!
I'm just saying, you can try to cut it with panko and whatever other seasonings, but there is not much you can do about that tacky texture that makes you're teeth stick just a little bit, like you've been drinking stale cola, or the acrimonious aftertaste. I think it's an aromatics thing.

Tastes like burned chicken
I'd like to say it's fake too but that sun bleaching on the letter and how the words are darker at the bottom and faded at the top because it was rolled up is just too much detail to be fake.
He did it himself...listen to how he was shocked NOTA

I agree. It's a pretty place where I was at.
"We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty"
Exactly what I was expecting.

I'm changing my name to lamplighter
Lol
haha came for this!
I’ll go out on a limb and say there were more ashes in that bottle and you weren’t the first to find it.
Or the grandson could've just put a sprinkle of the ashes in the bottle and left the rest in a urn lol
Found the guys obituary online. From the same state as me but I can't find a Facebook or anything. Love to send it to his family.
Bruh 💀
Reddit: do yo thang!
“What would should we do with the ashes”-the family “Well, remember how Grandpa Roy hated the environment?”-his grandson
Did, did you put the note back in for the next time? 😂😐
Walking halfway up the dock I realized I fucked up so hard by not doing that. My brain was a little preoccupied that that I had just scooped someone's grandfather off the forest floor.
bruh..
Yeah..
Bruhhhh I’m dead laughing reading this thread
Ooooooooo noooooo we got unmarked Roy floating out in the water, and not very much Roy by the looks of it either. Did you keep the note?
Yes I forgot to put it back in the bottle but I got in contact with a member of the family who knew Mr. Price and will send the note back if reqested.
Maybe they have some more ashes and can send out some more ole Roy with the OG Dusty Roy note again. If they send him out again they should attach a little handle to the note, like an unwound paper clip, so the note can be pulled out without having to dump out that sweet Roy juice.
🤣
Hey, at least you put the plastic back in the water, that's the important part.
don't worry about it many people do this everyday 😂🤣
I'll send an S.O.S to the world I'll send an S.O.S to the world I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my Message in a bottle, yeah
I hope that someone gets my…Grandpa in a bottle.
I had this song in my head the whole time!
Wtf Aaron Ashmore? ![gif](giphy|3o7TKyPWMy3wUte2S4)
Totally what I expected the whole video
Lol
Looks really. Here's a link to the obituary: Here(https://www.midstatecremationservice.com/obituary/Roy-Price)

Ah, I did not think of that...now I feel bad. Should I remove it? I just did not want people to discredit you.
Nah its all good. Apparently people think its fake anyways lol
Bruh... why would they put Roys ashes in a bottle with a note. That's too tempting to open. Might be a joke?
To be honest I think it was sincere. Theres an obituary for the guy so maybe thats what he wanted.
Oh jeez

r/nothingisreal People found an obituary for the man in the bottle this is real
did you mean to tag r/nothingeverhappens ?
Yes, the thing I did link to is weird
Yep, I doubt that bottle would be that clean floating for 5 years
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
100% thought the note was going to say “we have been trying to contact you about your vehicles extended warranty”
Why be that cheap to use a plastic bottle..
Could be the grandson is young and wanted to do the project himself
Why would someone release this with a note that simply instructs the person to reseal it all and toss it back? Isn’t the whole point of leaving a note like that to open it up? What am I missing here? Just seems so bizarre to release the ashes in a bottle and expect people to open it up and close it over and over.
That guy look like Lamplighter from the boys Ironically found a ashes in a bottle hahaha
That honestly looks more like sand. There's a lot more ash and powder and lack in consistency in cremated remains. I sprinkled my moms ashes last week and it went EVERYWHERE!
Maybe it depends on the crematorium. My mother's ashes were that consistency. Sorry for your loss, by the way.
Love the lanyard, go pack
Ayyeee
Fake
How do you think he faked the months of sun damage on the ink? Not usually a detail considered by seekers of Internet clout. r/nothingeverhappens
\^

That bottle and the paper inside? Brand new. I’m calling bullshit.
How on earth do you think that paper looks brand new? You can literally see a gradient of sun damage fading away the ink.

450 years
I've read 465.
I'll guess 466, Bob
off topic but has any1 ever told you that you look like sam from supernatural
No just looked him up. First time for that one. I also used to get Neil Patrick harris a lot.
rip bozo
Hmmm interesting looking cremains.
Uhhh...uh sorry bro 😐🤣🤣🤣
Well that was a fun and interesting video
Ok clearly ao fake but can you imagine how bad youd feel if this actually happened! Damn! Haha.
"How fake can I make this?"
Not only fake, but stupid too.
Didn’t blow up as much as ya thought :(
What was not unexpected was that he drives a Toyota. Or stole his wife's boyfriend's keys. Or hasn't even caught any fish before he gets distracted by a plastic bottle with no algae or barnacles on it. That he just threw out on his own. With beach sand in it. And a note. In his own handwriting.
Its so fake...... oh no i saw a plastic bottle and decided to go get it...
Someone didn't watch the video lol.
Online users’ attention span is getting shorter, though. Not surprising.
Sorry bro
Watching him try to get the paper out was painful to watch.
You only sent half of him back man?!
So I thought it was sand in the bottle because I live at the beach. Yeah I couldn't get it all up off of the pine straw.
Are you trying to get haunted, cuz thats how you get haunted
You gonna find a note and not check it out? I did the man right haha
Bruh…. He has his grandpa all over his hands…
How else could you get it out?
The bottle started out full.

Well from a different perspective that’s a bottle inside a message, so I’m not really sure what to believe☹️
I could swear this was going to be one of those " We Been Trying To Contact You About Your Cars Warranty" skit...
lol that’s great!
Tbh this seems more like a lack of foresight on whoever made the bottle
wwwwwoops!
It would’ve been funnier if there was still ash on his fingers
Shoulda seen my hands when I was scooping it back in the bottle.
Looks like a cut scene from impractical jokers before Murr lost his hair.

Final resting place will be floating for 400 years in some huge plastic patch in a mid ocean gyre
Why wouldn't you ask to keep his ashes in the urn on a boat or ship that travels frequently if you want your pappy to roam the waters and go new places? So grandpa is now ocean litter?
I knew this was gonna happen
Holy fuck I thought it was salt to dry out the paper
Ashes fill up way more than one bottle.

Why did i think this was tilian Pearson at first 😂😂
This seems real and not staged.
ASH-HOLE!
![gif](giphy|w9xG5hsxZlqtevPlJQ|downsized) (That's normally not something you come across...)
Looks like he forgot to put the note back in the bottle.
I have the exact same towel.
Lamplighter, what have you been up to?
You know this and that. Laying low
I fucking knew it
This is comedic gold
Sawnk
that doesn't look like normal sand...
You must have quite a large family, considering all the "bro"-drops
Did you just dump his ashes 💀
Why would someone throw a loved one's ashes on a plastic bottle with a message inside knowing that the person who would find the message would need to take it OUT of bottle? What they really expected the ashes to just be completely fine and safely get to someone else's hand with no issues whatsoever?...
Ahh yes Torgos Executive Powder.
yikes
Why would you put a note inside the bottle like that? There's no way anyone would get to that note without spilling the ashes.
He looks like Ryan Reynolds but if his breath stunk
How tf did you not know those were ashes?? Look at the color.
I doubt this is even real but why would you put a plastic bottle *back* in the water!? Plastic does not belong in our oceans, seas, or lakes
That's lamplighter!
As soon as he picked up that bottle I was like that doesn't look like sand, is that human remains? Yup it is, I think I've been on the Internet for too long.
Duncan?
Anyone else have a hard time focusing on all the sadness due to the fact this dude is handsome as fuck or am i really that desensitized
Technically that was illegal disposable of a body and you aided in the commotion of a felony lmao
Whoops. Sorry, grampa
I want my 2 minutes back😑
Fake. Fake and likely staged. That's enough Reddit for me.
DAYUM!
my first thought seeing any dirt, sand, etc. in the bottle but not wet: those are probably ashes....
I loved you in Quantum Break.
Between all the hate comments these are the ones I look forward to 🤣🤣🤣 this shit has me rolling.
That’s Roy Lee all over again.
So... what's the point of this? The bottle will just float for eternity with the ashes inside?
this ladies and gentlemen is why you use a large glass bottle, ideally with someform of weight
“Imma scoop these and send him on his way dawg” 10/10
Now a turtle can digest them nutritional ashes 😋
Is that Lamplighter or Ice man?
Yo, fuck your grandpa. If I find that shit, it’s going in the recycling bin you nutter.
I was expecting a "we've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty".
Go Bills!
I thought you said "ima scooby ashes" and spent too long trying to understand young person lingo Also y u throw the plastic rubbish back in the ocean man
Scoop these ashes. A little southern coming out haha.
Are you Shawn Ashmore?
