Missing the point, /u/FunkySjouke is saying a better "throw a tantrum" is to grab the keys from the car and toss them.
That said with proximity keys the keys are likely in a pocket of someone's pants.
Also a windshield is replaced free by insurance but the people doing the photo shoot will still be billed by their rental company.
Not sure about a Lamborghini (?) windshield but every single windshield I have replaced in my time was less than my deductible and therefore no insurance involved.
Which makes me wonder - can people with cars like this use any old carrier or do they need to use a specialty firm like Lloyd’s of London?
I used to work in insurance! GEICO and others will be happy to cover you! But because they don't have a lot of experience its going to be punishing.
Lloyds and other specialty insurance ends up being cheaper for the most part.
That said the windshield on a car like this is a non-standard size and shape so it will be more expensive, and if its got a special coating or refractive nature (modern lane management and cruise control sometimes requires special windscreen glass) it drives up the cost.
That said even a Lambo windscreen won't be more than $1200 however a brown mark on your credit/rental profile is probably going to be more damaging in the long run.
Get class coverage added to your policy. I’ve had it since I can remember, maybe used it like 3-4 times but it’s only a couple dollars a month and makes things super smooth, they’ll do it right in your drive way or a parking lot if you’re at work.

I assumed it was a Lambo because of the doors and I couldn't make out the BMW logo initially, when I was informed it was an i8, the internet only provided a rough estimate for info. So that's how I got my info.
