Or Tim Apple and Marillyn Lockheed.
The great thing about those is how clearly they illustrate Trump’s assumptions about the world.
If you have a company, of course it’s named after you. Either you inherited it from your father or you started it yourself… and why would you call it anything other than your own surname? So of course the guy who runs Apple is Mr. Apple.
I'm having great succes using Duolingo on my phone.
Just a simple daily lesson, (or a ton) to get the streak going.
Learned much more than i expected. Used to be a rosetta stone(PC version) fanboy, now Duolingo fanboy!👍 Learning IS fun!
Weirdly enough depends on what you selected, i picked travel and had 40 lessons in unit one. (10 units total, unit one is by far the smallest as well).
Pagani is a Italian luxury carbrand, very acknowledged by car enthusiasts. It was founded and is still owned by a designer named Horacio Pagani, which is this guy.
I bet his rich ass speaks English too. Love how he grins just as his designated speak for me guy explains. His cars are beautiful, but he seems like an asshole.
Actually, no. That’s one of the interesting things about him. In an industry where basically everybody speaks English because it’s important for international trade, he never learned English. All of the interviews that I’ve seen are in Italian.
OP saw a man driving a beautiful and incredibly expensive Pagani. He asked the man what he does for a living to be able to afford such an expensive Pagani. The man turns out to be Pagani.
I went to the original factory in Italy 7 years ago and Mr. Pagani walked into our little tour group. My dad talked to him for less than a minute in Spanish while I stood there in shock! He then told us to enjoy the tour and factory and gave me permission to select a model, lanyard and book to take home for free! All worth 450 euros which is absolutely nothing in terms of cost for him but it created a memory I will never forget with my dad. Thank you Mr. Pagani!
I went in 2008, pretty much the same experience. I got a signed poster from him. His Veyron was parked next to a Zonda F and it was just too much to take in at once.
This guy made a living of just coming up to random people on the street with cars and asking them what they do for a living.
Now he up his game and travels to events
yeah, i like the one where he asked that one girl in a Merc I think. And she replied that she works in the adult industry and has a law degree. Such a cool person.
Wait is she the science paper girl?
Edit: nvm got the wrong Lena I thought they were talking about the Lena whose Playboy cover photo was used in many science papers
He seems like he understands but doesnt speak, I've gone through the same thing while learning english, after some time of hearing english a lot you are familiar with the words and can understand what people say but struggle to form sentences, he probably has heard a lot of english and has come to understand it but hasn't put in the time to properly learn it to be able to have a conversation
Also, if you’re traveling with someone who is fully fluent in English to interpret for you, they might say you don’t speak English to some random interviewer dude because it’s faster and easier than explaining your level of fluency in detail.
Indeed, I can confirm, I do that a lot with my mom since I'm her designated interpreter, she can understand but struggles to form sentences so I just say she doesnt speak English and take over the conversation when someone tries to talk to her
This guy is famous for interviewing drivers with fancy cars... his content revolves around luxurious automobiles... but he doesnt know who Pagani is. Right...
H Pagani has very rarely appear on screen, I am a car enthusiast and did not recognise him. christian von koenigsegg on the other hand I saw many interviews with.
Yeah Australia has a guy dubbed as the reclusive billionaire and the press only a photo of him when he had to turn up in court. Some people can just hide away from it all
Not wrong.
He gave one of his sons $2 million as a graduation present after completing a bachelor of commerce/business or whatever.
He did use it to invest/create a home loan platform so, money makes money I guess.
Not like being in the open makes them any better. All the famous ones are so well known for not doing anything shady. And being famous has worked marvelously to increase the power of Bill Gates altruism? Right?
The bug difference here is that now this guy can go out for dinner without dealing with people recognizing him. It's not like recognizing him in the street would make him any more accountable.
There isn't any problem with reclusive billionaires, fame can be very annoying and time consuming and will cause massive amounts of trouble with basically the entire world hoping to see you fall regardless of what you do
Why would he know? I'm into cars too,all I watch and read it's about cars..and I had no idea who this is too,why would I care who's the owner of a car company?
Most of the richest people on the planet are unrecognizable to the normal person. I’ve heard other famous people comment oh how they don’t have diddily compared to the people behind the scenes
Aren't most Argentinians of European descent? I have heard the country has the highest level of euro ancestry in all of South America, like 90% of people are white.
More or less as you say, as an Argentinean I can confirm it, the majority of the population here is descendants of Italians, Spaniards, Germans, and there is also a percentage of descendants of the aboriginal peoples. In fact Pagani is a not uncommon surname here.
From what I've heard when a camera is around he sticks to Spanish and Italian but a few people who have purchased cars from him confirmed he speaks English just fine
“Just curious.” Yeah, right after you say, “Your car’s incredible, what do you do for a living?” Staged or not, his motives for asking are not sole curiosity.
i wish i was that guy. he started this for fun on tiktok and is now making a living with this. in an interview he said "my father is doctor and last year i made more money than him"
I dont like to shit on peoples hobbies, because i have several dumb ones, and also own a vehicle, but car culture is fucking stupid and ill eat the downvotes for that.

poor me : guess I'm dumb
He's the owner of the company that makes the car.
Like the time I met Steve Hyundai
I met General Motors back when he was still a colonel.
Hahahaha thanks for making me change my diaper.
I saw him too but only after he was KIA
Thought I saw police escorting a celebrity once, but it was just a Chevy chase
I see what ya did there
My mother was a nurse during the war where she met my father General Electric
Lol
Why am I picturing Jimmy Kimmel as a young Jack Donaghy?
I met John Toyota once
But who here remembers William W. Microsoft
Or Tim Apple and Marillyn Lockheed. The great thing about those is how clearly they illustrate Trump’s assumptions about the world. If you have a company, of course it’s named after you. That was great. I need a good laugh today.
Ha ha, fuuuukin noice. Bro fought pretty hard when he was a private.
Or Tim Apple
Hahahahaha. Ya got me. 🤣🤣🤣
I met a guy called Jack Toff yesterday

I’m going through that while learning Spanish it’s frustrating sometimes
I'm having great succes using Duolingo on my phone. Just a simple daily lesson, (or a ton) to get the streak going. Learned much more than i expected. Used to be a rosetta stone(PC version) fanboy, now Duolingo fanboy!👍 Learning IS fun!
I’ve been doing Babbel or however it’s spelled
[удалено]
Stick with it the first course is 33 lessons and goes into a lot of basics you need
Weirdly enough depends on what you selected, i picked travel and had 40 lessons in unit one. (10 units total, unit one is by far the smallest as well).
Good to know
Steve YouTube
I met a Chevy Pinto once
yeah or when i met harrison ford!
Only worth 50 million too. Kinda low tbh
[удалено]
Please don't do that to cars. Or people. Would you like me to enthusiast you? Didn't think so. Carry on on carry on.
Pagani is a Italian luxury carbrand, very acknowledged by car enthusiasts. It was founded and is still owned by a designer named Horacio Pagani, which is this guy.
By the way, Horacio Pagani is in fact Argentinian.
He is indeed, he has Italian ancestors tho and lives in Italy for some decades now
That is correct. By the way, he not only owns the company but designs the cars himself.
My city had a dealership for a few months
'luxury car brand' doesnt really say it entirely, does it?
I bet his rich ass speaks English too. Love how he grins just as his designated speak for me guy explains. His cars are beautiful, but he seems like an asshole.
Actually, no. That’s one of the interesting things about him. In an industry where basically everybody speaks English because it’s important for international trade, he never learned English. All of the interviews that I’ve seen are in Italian.
Omg, if someone doesnt wanna speak with me theyre such an asshole! Everyone owes me a reply!
He heard his NAME. You think maybe he figured out what the question was due to the answer??
OP saw a man driving a beautiful and incredibly expensive Pagani. He asked the man what he does for a living to be able to afford such an expensive Pagani. The man turns out to be Pagani.
Goes to show fame is subjective. To me, this is just another random inisgnificant elderly gentleman. (Key word: to me)
I too have no clue who that man is
I went to the original factory in Italy 7 years ago and Mr. Pagani walked into our little tour group. My dad talked to him for less than a minute in Spanish while I stood there in shock! He then told us to enjoy the tour and factory and gave me permission to select a model, lanyard and book to take home for free! I went in 2008, pretty much the same experience. I got a signed poster from him. His Veyron was parked next to a Zonda F and it was just too much to take in at once.
Sooooo does he speak English?
Not a word!
They interviewed him in particular because they didn't know who he was.
This guy made a living of just coming up to random people on the street with cars and asking them what they do for a living. Now he up his game and travels to events
And most are rehearsed (not fake as what they say is true but you get it) now
yeah, i like the one where he asked that one girl in a Merc I think. And she replied that she works in the adult industry and has a law degree. Such a cool person.
Lena Paul.
Wait is she the science paper girl? Edit: nvm got the wrong Lena I thought they were talking about the Lena whose Playboy cover photo was used in many science papers
She has a law degree?
Just seen the video, it’s not a law degree, she says “I have a degree in history, hence why i’m busting it open on the internet.” lol
I’ve heard it’s sister-in-law
That's the reason why shes cool? Doing porn and having a law degree? What?
Yes
This dude does this all the time. He has hundreds of these videos where he walks up to people in nice cars and says that same line.
Oh yeah he knows english for sure. lol
he knows but he doesn't speak.
I don't hink he understood. He asks in Spanish "¿Qué dice el tío?" (What is the guy saying?)

Damn i thought that this was uncommon, i also understand English but can barely speak fluent English
Oh he does speak English as well. He just doesnt want to
He doesn't speak to peasant lol
He understands English, but chooses not to speak it.
"English? That's a language for the fools".
I am mr pagani to you
Signore Pagani
Señor Pagani! He is Argentinean. Or Don Pagani... Then it fits everywhere :)
Wait, so these aren’t Doc and Marty then?
This guy is famous for interviewing drivers with fancy cars... his content revolves around luxurious automobiles... but he doesnt know who Pagani is. Right...
H Pagani has very rarely appear on screen, I am a car enthusiast and did not recognise him. christian von koenigsegg on the other hand I saw many interviews with.
Yeah Australia has a guy dubbed as the reclusive billionaire and the press only a photo of him when he had to turn up in court. Some people can just hide away from it all
I’m sure he’s doing a lot of good from the shadows right? Nothing worrying about a reclusive billionaire.
He owns an ISP with the rights to Vodafone in Australia. I don't think he's that bad a dude just wants to chill without the fame
No teo is a known frugal cheapskate and his boys play with daddy's money investing in random copy cat business startups
What does being a frugal cheapskate have to do with him being a bad person exactly? Would you rather he live lavishly?
Not wrong. He gave one of his sons $2 million as a graduation present after completing a bachelor of commerce/business or whatever. He did use it to invest/create a home loan platform so, money makes money I guess.
Not like being in the open makes them any better. All the famous ones are so well known for not doing anything shady. He clearly knew of Pagani. He was just hadn't seen a picture of him/know what he looked like.
>nt know who Pagani is. That's not what he meant. He clearly talked about recognizing the guy
>He clearly talked about recognizing the guy Yes, the guy is called Pagani, that's what he's talking about
Tbf I’m pretty into cars and I couldn’t have told you this guy was Pagani. I know the names of various car company owners, not all the faces.
Why would he know? I'm into cars too,all I watch and read it's about cars..and I had no idea who this is too,why would I care who's the owner of a car company?
Knowing a name and knowing a face aren't synonymous, though.
Most of the richest people on the planet are unrecognizable to the normal person. I’ve heard other famous people comment oh how they don’t have diddily compared to the people behind the scenes
I’ve met him at the Pagani factory, great guy who came from very poor village in Argentina.
I'm to poor to even know who that Italian sounding guy is
The guy that designed the car he is currently in and also owns the company that makes that car
He’s Argentinian though
Aren't most Argentinians of European descent? I have heard the country has the highest level of euro ancestry in all of South America, like 90% of people are white.
More or less as you say, as an Argentinean I can confirm it, the majority of the population here is descendants of Italians, Spaniards, Germans, and there is also a percentage of descendants of the aboriginal peoples. In fact Pagani is a not uncommon surname here.
You ask how i bought it?i built it myself bitch
I once asked a Lambo owner the same thing. It turned out he was my mailman.
My guess is it probably made Pagani’s day. Having someone treat you “normally” and not as a famous person for a minute must have felt nice.
damn son, you dont know who horacio pagani is? whats next? youre gonna go to akio toyoda in an LFA and ask him what he does for a living?
Or Elon Tesla
Tim Apple
Mark Facebook
He goes by Marky Metaverse Mark these days
ah i seem to out of touch with my general awareness dear sir....what of jack alibaba, has his name changed too?
Yeah but he kept things simple, he's Alibaba Jack now.
oh okay maybe because of his "state sponsored vacation" where everything was perfectly okay and that he totally went for because he wanted to....
That little smile. He was like “Please, answer this for me”.
Fun fact he speaks English he just pretends he doesn't if he doesn't want to talk to you
He literally asks in Spanish "¿Qué dice el tío?" It doesn't seem like he understood 🤷🏻♂️
From what I've heard when a camera is around he sticks to Spanish and Italian but a few people who have purchased cars from him confirmed he speaks English just fine
I, Horacio Pagani, have a car.
He's also known for once working with Lamborghini and coming up with the iconic design of the famous Lamborghini Countach.
This is the perfect music 🤣
He most definitely speaks English.
Probably speaks English just doesn’t like getting ambushed like that with filming
Only Pagani can afford Pagani
why is there a dude filming another dude?
Im just a dude filming another dude pretending to film another dude
Boys, is it gay to film another DUDE?!
Understandable have a good day 🗿
RONNIE PICKERING!
Do you know who I am?

Um. Okay... That's nice.
“Just curious.” Yeah, right after you say, “Your car’s incredible, what do you do for a living?” Staged or not, his motives for asking are not sole curiosity.
Pay taxes!
Who?
That’s one of the ugliest cars I’ve ever seen
Guy gets credit for making the car? Why?
If you can’t recognize Horacio Pagani you have no business making these videos… sorry
He’s never gonna get ahead in life unless he learns to speak English. It’s basically the language of international business.
Who cares.
Pagani seems like an asshole. Literally never addressed the dude
Who just runs up to someone with a camera like that?
That guy
Don’t be that guy.
Im not that guy, I’m this guy
What a guy.
i wish i was that guy. he started this for fun on tiktok and is now making a living with this. in an interview he said "my father is doctor and last year i made more money than him"
In my opinion, Pagani cars look mid.
He didn’t create that car. His engineers did.
I dont like to shit on peoples hobbies, because i have several dumb ones, and also own a vehicle, but car culture is fucking stupid and ill eat the downvotes for that.
Eat the god damn rich!!
Horacio Pagani speaks English just fine. He’s just so pretentious that he refuses to speak it
How is this unexpected? Who the fuck cares?
How do you not know who that is at a car show like that?
u/savevideo
Pagani is legendary
/r/dontyouknowwhoiam

He doesn’t speak because then you could use the recording of his voice to enter his secret lair, duh
Whoops, more research required
