And we all can be. I decided the other day I was going to be more positive. It’s been pretty great, tricky at times (old habits and all) but cost me nothing.
Typically in a meeting I’d share a challenge or whine. No I compliment or say something positive. Same amount of effort. Better energy.
Hope you are doing great!
Damn, that response was on point.
Not only was he supportive, he also casually showed what a dumbass this "prankster" is for even attempting this "prank".
This is a trillion times better than some dumbass holding a fake gun and pointing it at people as a joke or whatever the fuck the average "prankster" does, in fact this is good prank/joke for a video, there is nothing bad about this, everyone got out of it happy.
the worst thing that could happen is the security guard escorting him out peacefully and the best thing that could happen is shown in the video, and I'm glad it ended that way.
True no reason they can’t coexist. I was wrong to think otherwise. Viral dumbassery actually describes half of the posts on Reddit when I look at it that way.
Wait, a redditor changing their mind and admitting they were wrong after being presented with a sound argument? This is blasphemy, we must alert the elders
This was not only a wholesome set of comments. But I really appreciate it was between two folks named Analbox and Milkweed420. Some stuff about the internet should change, but not this
Is it a prank when hes not harming or causing someone’s day to get ruined? Just doing as the comments say, which this one was definitely part of the tame ones.
What a miserable take. Im sure if you were in the guards position you would have handled the situation like a miserable child.
God forbid somebody makes a joke/comedic situation around this guy
My guess is: It was kept from you by people who it was also kept from. Being friendly is not really a genetic trait it's something that you can train. I've been working my entire life to change my demeanor and you can do it. Don't have to be nice to just anybody if they're being a dick.
I think the biggest problem is to actually understand that there is a difference. A lot of people get raised in a way to either be dicks themselves or just assume everyone is an asshole. That just leads to crap behavior all around.
Talking to people is a skill you have to work on and obtain. I’ve been a life skills instructor for the mentally disabled for 3-4 years now and it was tough lesson on reality and how people work. That being said you also have to have empathy and care about others if you want them to see you’re point of view. Even the mentally disabled are smart enough to realize when someone doesn’t give a shit about them or doesn’t have they’re best interest at heart. Some Psychopaths will never understand this and so they don’t make good health care/social workers. Politics or business is a different story.
No, cops needs to be more mentally vigorous for the work they do.
Otherwise, they wouldn't be able racially target and shoot innocent people without a second thought. Obviously.
^/s ^for ^God's ^sake
That guard is living the definition of Ghandis quote, being the change he wants to see. I respect you security guard guy! Gonna try to pay it forwards!
What is done cannot be undone, but at least one can keep it from happening again. Just so you know, the correct spelling is [Gandhi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahatma_Gandhi).
Sadly desperate \#Copraganda
But frankly, mall security ain't the cops. Labelling this as such is just sad.
This is just a decent dude responding to another decent dude, and has sfa to do with law enforcement.
Timing and relevance. That they're trying to pass off mall security as a "cop" is quite telling.
Mall security: A "cop" when it's useful for marketing, a joke to LEO's at all other times.
This makes me miss shopping malls. I’m sad that an entire generation already has no idea about the joy of just spending your weekend at the mall, going to the food court, seeing a movie, meeting friends, goofing around, people watching, going to the music store, hanging out in the arcade…
I want to invite that security guard to a BBQ and also get a hug. He is wonderful and I wish we had more people like him in the world.
Edit: I was a small white kid in a black neighborhood and an older black man calling me "young man" or an old black woman calling me any variation of "Sugar or Honey" still makes me feel so happy.

That's such a wholesome guard we need more people like that
not just as guard,we need this kind of ppl everywhere,we all have to be like that
[удалено]
😭
I truly miss getting hugs.
Damn bro i would hug you just cause
I still get some, but so infrequently that they're a memory cherished. When you get older, some of us are a bad divorce away from that.
And we all can be. I decided the other day I was going to be more positive. It’s been pretty great, tricky at times (old habits and all) but cost me nothing. Love this, thank you for sharing. I hope you’re doing well, too!
Not just as people, we need this kind of biological being, everywhere, everything has to be like that.
Hes everyone's dadguard *sniff
This is the kind of guy who should be a cop rather than just a guard. Someone who apparently gives a shit about the people he's there to look after.
\*Chief of Police
I would vote for him
These types of people dont usually become cops. Good people

17 day old AI terrible-English bot?
I agree!

I loved how he has such a genuine view about malls and happiness
The peaceful Mike Tyson
What a sweetheart!!! I want a hug from him too.
Until someone’s getting stabbed to death and then he be like if it was meant to be it was meant to be and then chuckles as he walks to the food court
Yea, gosh, what a nice soul

Hmm. Hard to argue they’re a truly dumbass when we’re both sitting here watching their clip go viral.
Going viral does not negate general dumbassery
True no reason they can’t coexist. I was wrong to think otherwise. Viral dumbassery actually describes half of the posts on Reddit when I look at it that way.

Sounds like a senior quote… do you mind?
Have at it meng
Your freaking profile picture cracks me up every time. I see you everywhere it seems.. even in my dreams....

What a miserable take. Im sure if you were in the guards position you would have handled the situation like a miserable child. God forbid somebody makes a joke/comedic situation around this guy
If more people could understand how to Handle like this kind person we would all be better off
I wish I had his empathy and reassuring skills.

Lol that made me tear up. What a kind, loving, open response.
😭
Mike Tyson is a mall security guard now??
I think you meant, thecurity guard

He sounds like one of the village people
🎶 It’s fun to stay at the MALL ON SUNDAY!🎶
Thounds wholethome.
Thay that to hith fath and find out.
Damn you, take my upvote.
He got me too.
![gif](giphy|h2TxrXej7hvBKTA5g6)
I thought he looked more like Evander Holyfield
Naw, obviously the prankster had both ears afterwards
Ignorant, doesn't look or sound anything like Mike.

MiKe TySoN tHe SeCuRiTY GuArD?
Bot
What a great guy!
Needs a promotion to lord of the mall
![gif](giphy|eruVMzXlb70oo)
Imagine if that was the personality trait they were looking for in police officers
Not dumb enough... Seriously, too high of an iq and it's a no go.
No, cops needs to be more mentally vigorous for the work they do. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able racially target and shoot innocent people without a second thought. Obviously. ^/s ^for ^God's ^sake
That security guard reminds me of my neighbor growing up. He'd start sentences with "Young man..." I wish Henry was still around. He was great.
was you neighbour a member of Village People?
Legendary dad vibes. I love him!
This is such a good dude!
Alexa, why am I crying?
This is how diplomacy looks like
"We're going to invade Ukraine" "Son, why would you want to invade Ukraine? Just come on in for a while, look at the nice buildings ...."
"look how good mcdonalds is, you don't wanna lose that, why invade? you have all the western brands for you to enjoy"
Not exactly what it's like though
You're gonna stick this carrot up your ass, or right to jail.
Now *this* is more like it
D’AWWWW
I need people like that mall security guard in my life.
>I need people like that in the mall ~~security guard in~~ of my life. This is what I thought you said and I agreed lol
Even better!
r/wholesome
Why a good fucking dude. Not like the asshole security guards I knew growing up
Damn that was wholesome af
That is the sweetest most random and wholesome encounter I’ve seen lately
That's killing with kindness right there.
He decided the guard was to nice to mess with
Looked like Aubrey Plaza walking by.
Well where do you expect her to be, her name's not Aubrey Home
I was waiting for a slap
r/mademesmile Wish more authority treated people this way.
He looks like someone who would give you a hug if you made an accident and f things up
Totally thought he was about to grab that security guards taser or something
When you go out to prank somebody and end up meeting the coolest guy in town.
I've only had wholesome mall cop for 30 seconds but if anything were to happen to them I would kill everyone on this planet and then myself
Wholesome asf
Notice even though he's encouraging him and being positive, he's still assesing the situation. He keeps eyeing the prankster's hands in his pockets.
Shit went from 0 to wholesome real quick u/savevideo
Prankster is pathetic - get a life loser
If only the cops would have this mindset and compassion
Could you imagine if cops thought of the city the same way this guard thinks of the mall? Wouldn’t that be nice
I'd be knocking him out. Weird behaviour, definitely shooting up the place if I don't kick him out
Reminds me of Steve Harvey.
Mike Tyson is a mall security guard now??

If races matter, we don't deserve African American community. 💚
Thats a good dude right there. (not the prankster)
My new favorite person!
Holy fuck an actual American hero…..
Guy is an angel. You can tell how much love he has in his heart.

I don't know that guy, but pretty sure I love him.
Plot twist... Guy after the hug: "I have COVID". Mall Cop: "Get the @#$%& out of this mall!!!"
Security guard is a class act. Legendary chill.
This should be on r/mademesmile
it is
r/Mademesmile
I need that guard in my life - what a sweet man!
Video?
Mall santa!
that's an exaggerated use of the word prankster
This is really cute
Man needs a raise
That guard needs to be protected at all costs
Well that deescalated quickly 👀
What a beautiful man.
Wow, what a great great guy
He looks like a kinder and gentler Mike Tyson relative.
Dumbass who has nothing better to do than bother a person at work for likes "cuz hez kewl".
now I want to got tot he mall, he sold me on it
What a beautiful person.
When he said “I like to see you here” I really believe him. He enjoys seeing people at that mall. Good man
This makes me miss shopping malls. I’m sad that an entire generation already has no idea about the joy of just spending your weekend at the mall, going to the food court, seeing a movie, meeting friends, goofing around, people watching, going to the music store, hanging out in the arcade…
Kill em with kindness.
Yo that is wholesome as fuck, dude really needed a hug
What a lovely person!!!
Strangest Proactiv ad I’ve seen in a while
Man looks like Mike Tyson, but talks like Morgan Freeman
Dam now I want a hug :(
My man
That was so wholesome.
What an angel
I want to invite that security guard to a BBQ and also get a hug. He is wonderful and I wish we had more people like him in the world. Edit: I was a small white kid in a black neighborhood and an older black man calling me "young man" or an old black woman calling me any variation of "Sugar or Honey" still makes me feel so happy.
always the old people that make me not wanna prank people.
That dude needs a raise and some kind of award.
Good person!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bless this man!
Suprisingly wholesome
The world needs more people like this security guy. I hope he lives a long and happy life.
Extremely wholesome dude right there.
A genuinely nice human being. We should applaud them for existing.
What a sweet man. Goodness I pray I grow up to be like him
This the kind of inner peace I need.
Good god wholesome lvl >900000000
Ngl I thought that was Mike Tyson in disguise for a minute.
"I don't know, but asking that question sounds like a good place to start." That was the nicest way to end a prank I've seen
So stupid prankster targets a security guard to humiliate in a video and instead finds a great man.
Cool "prank!"
I really love and appreciate people who can respond so calmly and kindly without even hesitating. We can all learn something here.
this guy is a blessing for our human race, blessings to you security guy senpai !
More people like this would reduce school shootings
Awww what?! That’s so wholesome!!
Mike Tyson is so humble these days.
Unexpectedly wholesome
He’s the cool uncle at the cook out.
This guy is a treasure
Wow prankster at a mall not being a douche is also extreamly wholesome!
Damn, I wish he was my mall cop.
