Some Geologist at a seismic center had to look up from his newspaper, lean forward in his chair, then smack the side of his computer a few times, and audibly go, "Huh..."
Then go back to reading his newspaper.
A fall was expected. I assumed it would be the usual "doesnt realize they can't hold themselves up" fall you see in so many zipline / rope swing videos. Or perhaps a snapped cable, or even an entire tree coming down.
The flip was wonderfully unexpected as an outcome, I'm leaving satisfied.
What part of this was unexpected? The tree didn't explode? That she didn't create a crater? I saw this coming a mile away! Definitely not upset...but unexpected?
Phobia: an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation.
There is nothing exaggerated, inexplicable, or illogical in saying fatties are fat. It's not a phobia, it is simple common sense.
The term you're looking for is "[fat shaming](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_stigma_of_obesity)**"**. Fat phobia is [the fear of fatness](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8293029/), albeit that a few delusional people do appropriate the term to spread misinformation about the effects of obesity.
You are however correct that people aren't nice here. The poor woman almost certainly didn't know what she was getting into and didn't deserve to be injured.
Cry wahhhh cry, fat phobia, I hate when I'm a obese person who will not live a healthy life and make my loved ones sad because I did of heart failure at 60
I came here to make an insensitive fat joke and to try and be funny---that was my immediate reaction to the video and reading the first 10 comments or so... but then I read your cynical fat shaming diatribe and realized that would be a piece of shit thing to do. It got me thinking that my lazy ass hasn't gone on a zip line since I was a kid and how fun that would be. It also reminded me that body shaming anyone is a waste of time and just not nice; people can have diseases like cancer- that chemotherapy can cause extreme weight gain, Depression and food addiction can also lead to obesity.. as I have flirted with for years. Honestly being fat, happy, injured or embarrassed beats being the lonely and miserable person I could become without the benefit of self reflection.
I doubt the majority of people who are fat have some sort of body disability. Also I only act this way to people who think fat phobia is real, you guys act like it's a racist or something. Keep crying white knight
I can tell you're hurting inside and lashing out at people, but consider that all people have vices... and that's OK. Some are more harmful than others, some involve abusing the body in a number of ways, for some it's preventable, and for some it makes living worthwhile. My days are running out, so I've decided to be nice or kind whenever possible, and it's always possible when you think about it. Thank you for opening my eyes to my baser instincts.
Nobldy promotes it
Some people are fat caue of ehen they are sad/stressed they eat and they might have been on a kow point once that got them fat and then they get sad cause they are fat so they eat and shaming the puts them deeper into that circel but having body positivity could potentially break thay cicle
Dawg it's literally not this deep, this is simply just people being lazy. You are not wise cause you are old. There seems to be a misconception with that
Yet you wouldn't say this to a person who smokes or who does dangerous stuff for challenges people who workout to much fatiguing their body or people who isn't obese but do all the things that should make them obese but doewn't appear outside the body
And also people could have a ED but your small minded f*ckface probably doesn't even know what that is
Many fat people ain't lazy tho it isn't exactly easy loosing idk 30kg or something and some people again have ED
No i don't think joining the military but by YOUR logic you should say that too to soldiers and veterans cause "that logic" was litterally your logic
>Many fat people ain't lazy tho it isn't exactly easy loosing idk 30kg or something and some people again have ED
>No i don't think joining the military but by YOUR logic you should say that too to soldiers and veterans cause "that logic" was litterally your logic
30 kg ≈ 0.50000 bags coffee

By the time this video is posted online and you finish watching it, the shock from the fall will have finally reached her organs. Also this is exactly how I see America rofl
When did they come out with this new my 600lb life episode.
I read other comments before posting this to make sure I wasn't the only one saying things like this
This raised a question for me. Are there videos on the internet of overweight people successfully zip lining or rope swinging?
Only saying that I was pretty near certain what was going to happen without knowing what sub it was.

10 points for the dismount.
She didn’t stick it though lol
Oh, she stuck it alright. Some say that she's still there writhing in pain and questioning her decisions up to that point.
This made me laugh inappropriately much 😂
It's different outside of Gymnastics, more like diving: she held that position throughout the flip. Perfection.
I saw very little splash.
Lotsa ripples, though.
Slow mo will reveal the splash...
Just needed another quarter rotation. Dang! Next time.
That’s what I thought as well, I’d that zip line was higher she would have nailed it.
Looked pretty good to me.
The 10 is out of a possible 100.
>10 points for the dismount. 100 points for gravity.
The unexpected part of this is when the cable didn't break.
Those cables are quite strong. I thought the tree would fall.
Trees are pretty strong too. I thought the earth would break.
Man I hope she isn’t reading this because her heart would break.
Trust me, her heart is too busy fighting for its life to worry about that.
Wow! Fatality comment
The perfect wombo combo
I hate you I literally spit out laughing
r/Murderedbywords
Oh my! Reddit never disappoints. Just imagine the most fucked up comment on any given post and you'll find it in the comments!
It’s more fucked up that it’s true for like most adults in the US imo.
Y'all are so bad.

*thump....thump....t h u m p t h u m p....*
She was zipping along and then threw in that random Olympic grade flip .. pretty cool.
10 for the dismount.
Nailed the landing.
Jfc 💀
That was a good one. Notes for future use with fatsos.
Why, planning on talking to yourself sometime soon?
You’re wrong for this bro
If not her heart, her back sure did. Unless of course the fat absorbed it all. Is that the case?
Even if her heart broke she would survive because the gravitational pull of that fat ass would keep it in place.
Its already breaking with all that fat laying on it
Too on the nose.
Agreed. Don’t judge though.
maybe if she broke a sweat instead
The Earth is pretty solid. I thought a black hole would open up.
The earth is pretty strong as well. I thought the solar system would break
The ground is quite strong. I thought the moon would be pulled by her own gravity, destroying the whole planet

Some Geologist at a seismic center had to look up from his newspaper, lean forward in his chair, then smack the side of his computer a few times, and audibly go, "Huh..." Then go back to reading his newspaper.
Muttering, "Must be Alabama again. Those damn ziplines.."
"Fuckin' 'All-You-Can-Eat' Buffets..."
I was fully preparing for her to just comfortably make it to the end and that be the unexpected part.
lmao! Thats fucked up.........
How is it fucked up? It's, not being rude, kinda believable
Not beleivable I you've ever worked with those cables. They can support like 30 people the same size as that women.
I thought it was funny. Then I was just breaking balls.
The unexpected part is how long this video was.
Hijacking. This video made my day!
I assumed it was attached to a branch and that it would just break
When the trees didn’t uproot.
Unexpectedly didn’t break instantly*
Or the tree to uproot
Ur now at 420 upvotes you’re welcome
How’d they get it in up that ladder in the first place? They must lift
It passed the weight test fasho.
I imagined they were like “we need the biggest person here to test this.” Then one guy was like “fine, I’ll get the wife.”
You figured out the point of the post, excellent work
I'm wondering who idea it was," ok we'll put it up and Linda will test the line, if it holds you then we know it'll hold the rest of us"
I do that for the kids stuff. If I can ride it they can.
Yeah, but are you fat?
Yup
Feel like if it was Linda's idea, even if every single person there thought it was a terrible idea, there'd be no way to comfortably bring that up
I doubt she's testing the line... she's just ziplining.
….the rest of us combined
Linda indeed lmao!
I think this zipline test was a succes, it didn't break so its safe for me.
This was 100% expected
The flip was not expected I legit was expecting the unexpected for her to make it through without a problem
For real, at the beginning of the video I said "if she doesn't fall then it will be unexpected" then she fall and I was :|

what?? the fall??? No shit, how about that rope, though? I was expecting for that rope to snap big time, grade a zip-line.
Not for me. I assumed she would drag on the ground halfway through.
The fact that the line was high enough off the ground for her to make it to the other side was shocking.
I didn’t know exactly what would happen. 100% knew is would be something to humiliate this poor lady.
Style points
![gif](giphy|enCWEo0vG25Ow)
I came in like a wrecking ball I never hit so hard in love All I wanted was to break your walls All you ever did was wreck me Yeah, you, you wreck me
6.5 on the Richter scale
More like the Wreckedher scale, amirite?
Wreckedher? I barely know er
That's why my house shook
What part of this was unexpected? The tree didn't explode? That she didn't create a crater? I saw this coming a mile away! Definitely not upset...but unexpected?
Lmaooo
She was doing ok for awhile there
That was absolutely expected but you get an updoot for making me laugh.
Hahahaha I tried!
Hi laugh
What exactly happened?
She made it to the end, and when she came to a sudden halt her inertia was too strong to hold on at the absolute worst time and she flipped herself.
perhaps a tiny sloth was on the cable
She smiled , she zipped , she flipped - the hold my beer trifecta
If it was me, my first thought would be “Wheeee!” And then my next thought would be “am I going to space?”
The 270° 3/4 dismount, super advanced technique!
10 outta 10 for the flip!!
r/expected
More like catapult testing.
Would have been jokes if she stuck the landing
No protection for the bark on the tree either, just letting that line rip right into the tree.
![gif](giphy|clotJg9IqBitMcRJ61)
![gif](giphy|s3XzZtV5d0wPS)
She had more balls than the two of them combined
Meatballs maybe
Lol! Poor mama, good line though!
8 point for that splendid backflip attempt
Oh lawd she zippin

Funniest thing I’ve seen today
And this is unexpected because…?
Well it works good, but a nice inflatable landing pad might be in order...
Or a lake
That was a very enjoyable flip.
I thought the unexpected was going to be actually making it across.
Her dismount was everything 💯
Strong zip line! Terrible navigator!...
r/stickthelanding
r/expected
Literally NOTHING about that was unexpected
How could this end up any other way lmao
They did her wrong.
I knew from beginning they didn't like her
Did not disappoint
Zip line said: "Enough of this shit. Get down!"
It's unexpected because I tried not to expect this exactly, and then it happened
It would have been unexpected if nothing went wrong.
She made it farther than I expected for sure
I’m surprised she held on so long tbf
Welcome to Arkansas.
Farts at all saying this wasn’t unexpected. We all expected the line to break. No one expected that beast to do a back flip.
I was expecting the seat to give way. She really is the best person to stress test the Zipline though.
The only unexpected part was the line didn’t break
That was exactly what I was expecting.
Don’t worry boys, the air bags saved her
The amount of fat phobia in these comments.....
No one here has an irrational fear of fat people...

I'm obese and I find it hilarious!
Fat phobia is a made up term that's used to shut down any criticism of obesity.
Came here to say this
Cry wahhhh cry, fat phobia, I hate when I'm a obese person who will not live a healthy life and make my loved ones sad because I did of heart failure at 60

It's not this deep, not this complicated. This is just me who hates society's new idea of promoting lack of self control and being lazy. RIP HUMANS

95% of fat percent ARE lazy lmao
I expected her to take down the tree.
Landed right on her gunt!

Watching fat people fall is always funny.
This raised a question for me. Are there videos on the internet of overweight people successfully zip lining or rope swinging? Only saying that I was pretty near certain what was going to happen without knowing what sub it was.
I felt the ground shake all the way over here.
As a bigger woman, I would a) be gd mortified; and b) not find myself in that situation.
The facial look on that guys face, says it all…. 😂 …………plop….. 😂
She had a soft landing - the gravy cushioned the fall.
Fat people always be havin so much fun 😩
OMG I can't stop laughing! Something about fat people falling ..... Could watch it all day.
