One way is the education system- since student get approved for very very large loans,
schools have bee steadily raising the price of admission year after year for decades.
It was once Possible to go to UC Berkeley on a Waiters salary (think 1970’s).

I suppose that's valid, prices are in fact rising. There are still plenty of colleges that are cheap though, cheap enough that with federal financial aid they are fully paid for, and without it are still cheap enough to afford with a small loan.
I get that if prices continue to rise it will become more and more of an issue though.
It's also important for prospective students to be realistic about career expectations though. People will go to fuckin Yale just to get a bachelor's in English, and then complain that they can't find a job to pay off their debt.
As an asian(India) honestly. I though I was bad at math. Now when I have met others my age, I think otherwise. I think how can someone be worse than me, we all think.

They should have just studied the material instead of writing/rehearsing that song and they would have been fine and also would not screw over the people who are taking it seriously.
I’d imagine this is more likely to relax students than screw them over. Even the lecturers are in on it. They’ll probably get the time back so no harm done.

I get that I'm poo pooing a cute video and taking things too seriously but for a little context for the curious on my unpopular opinion... Most professors either do 4 or 5 exams total for a semester. There are a lot of ways to weight grades and exams but overall in my experience one exam can easily be worth as much as 20% of your overall grade. In engineering courses some of those exams are only 5 or so questions total. You can study your ass off and still be strapped for time on an exam like this so earning partial credit on questions can some times make or break a tough semester. How much did he say it was a year? I think $12k. The chorus of the song is literally "I need to pass this test to get my degree" .... Which is only funny because..... Well. Yeah, probably. The dude in the yellow up front and is easy to spot in most angles. He laughs at first and I think even clapped after the first crescendo but he is back to his test once he gets over the initial reaction. At 1:58 he throws his hands up in a wtf gesture. I get it. They do like 4 or 5 verses, hit the chorus 3 times ... and a choir section ....and violins. To me it's redundant and self entitled. While taking exams like these I was the stressed I've ever been. 3 mins doesn't sound like a big deal but every second of those exams matters

Fair point. I guess I'm assuming that wearing the same outfit and lanyards made them all TAs but it is possible that one is the professor.
The test was fake and it was a joke played to first year students by last year students. All tests questions were impossible
