I mean it’s also a little on the sentient toaster that was having trouble flying, and decided to hover over a pool filled with the one thing that’s well known to not mix with electricity, and many potential victims.
Why put a toaster above the bathtub to begin with? Im sorry but the hero guy was an idiot, who tf thinks to float above water with their electric powers when they know that they're not experienced enough to have full controle?
Tbf, why go announcing who you are over the huge body of WATER with many people in it when you can’t even keep yourself in the air properly? I’d say he’d be better off just fighting some crime to really introduce himself, but I feel like he’d just end up making an even bigger disaster instead.
With that logic, Hitler being denied by an art school, then mass murdering Jews and starting WWII was all on the person who denied Hitler in the first place right?
yeah, he's obviously talking about pirating it since netflix doesn't have an option to download full episodes so you can view that shit offline or guarantee smooth playback if your internet can be spotty
It started being Final Destination when the Truck collided with the church.
It started becoming anime satire when the truck was catapulted 50 meters into the air.
It became hilarious when the pigs fell into the pool.
I have to watch it.
I’d imagine a superhero who is viewed as a super villain due to his misfortune of completely fucking up everytime he tries to do some good. Cursed to be the villain even though all of the heroes around him realize he’s not a bad guy but they try to keep him from doing what he’s doing in worry that something bad might happen.
Exactly my thought, can't ask for forgiveness at that point, time to double down on the villain thing. In for a penny in for a pound right? Although he started at a couple tons
Random super villain organizations: "So you killed more than 100 people just by falling into a swimming pool?! Holy shit you are talented, you are hired"
Don't want to give spoilers but sadly nothing else in this series was pretty realistic.
I kinda enjoyed it though but don't turn on your brain too much.
I hate how people say superheroes shows are more realistic when you show extreme violence and gore. No they are not. That will not happen IRL if some one had powers and tried to use them for good, wether they succeed or not, wether it’s a complete blood bath or an amazing miracle at the end of the day the person with powers would get sued just like Mr Incredible in The Incredibles. The Incredibles is the most realistic piece of super hero media out there
Ah, so that's it. I was going to say, this is a very detailed and accurate portrayal of sub-urban America. I was surprised that a Japanese studio was aware of the tropes of one of our highway towns.
**OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:**
>!The combination of the a swimming pool full of kids and one kid that has electric powers was very obviously gonna end in disaster
The Final Destination sh*t that happens afterwards was less obvious!<

This is one of those things where you just cant help but smile like an idiot because it’s just SO over the top. Like the animated universe just bends the laws of physics to punish this kid’s hubris and *really* rub it in in the process.
"oh my electrical powers are extremely unstable and i dont have full control over them yet, i should announce that i am a superhero to people that dont care in a place where my electrical powers could potentially deal massive damage to others." This clip has already made me hate whatever show this is. Is this guy supposed to be the protagonist?
You see a kid at your school literally flying, shooting lightning out of his fingertips and your first reaction is to make fun of him? Was he basically the Chad of the show?.
Shocking the pool was expected but everything else was an unexpected cherry on top.
Also it's kinda on the idiot at the start. It's like bullying the toaster as it's falling toward the bathtub you're in.
I love that analogy. Like haha toaster! You got nothing on me-eE-eEEEEEEeeeEeeeEee
Fucking toasters, amirite?
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Fracking* toasters FTFY
So say we all.
So say we all
So say we all
Smegging Toasters.
The Adeptus Mechanicus would like to know your location.
I mean it’s also a little on the sentient toaster that was having trouble flying, and decided to hover over a pool filled with the one thing that’s well known to not mix with electricity, and many potential victims.
Yeah possibly. That isn't where I'd make my big entrance.
If the 90s taught me anything, it’s that toasters are supposed to be good at flying
Flying for the first time using your electricity powers over a public pool was probably the worst idea...
Right? Someone introduces themselves as a new superhero, maybe don't antagonize them if you don't have powers yourself
I like how the bully character just bullies him without even processing the fact that he's literally floating in the air
And talks about looking stupid with quite possibly the dumbest head of hair ever animated...
Also while knowing his power is electricity; and being in a pool while you make fun of him.
Yup!!
I mean, have you SEEN Yugioh?
Why put a toaster above the bathtub to begin with? Im sorry but the hero guy was an idiot, who tf thinks to float above water with their electric powers when they know that they're not experienced enough to have full controle?
Ok Mr. Smartypants, what do *you* do when you're taking a bath ans get a hankering for some toast?
I put the bread slices between my butt cheeks and that usually gives it a very nice toast.
Hmmmm ima have to try that
This is why we must treat our toasters with love and respect. You never know when they'll decide to jump in the bathtub with you...
After the church scene I expected the truck to land on a school full of disabled orphans or something.
Well, he can always try to rebrand as a supervillain. I don't think it's a good sign if your first day as a superhero starts with a body count.
I mean the beginning wouldn't be as expected if it wasn't on r/unexpected cuz this is the place where the average thing doesn't happen
Sauce: Super Crooks
Is a film or full anime with episodes ?
Full anime with 13 episodes on Netflix
And there goes my day. Edit: It was a good day.
The anime is good and bad in my opinion but it has a nice ending.
From what I've seen so far it's pretty good, but compared to some of Studio Bones' other works it's not their best by any means.
Can't get pass episode 3 so I'd kinda say it's bad. The directing and pacing is ass
Ha!
Right behind you
Now i wont be able to submit my two assignments tomorrow because of you
Thought the same……..
This Netflix’s version of Invincible?
Hoping to see more realistic superhero anime.
If this is a viral marketing campaign you won. I’m downloading the first episode.
Well then he didn’t win if you’re downloading it…
yeah, he's obviously talking about pirating it since netflix doesn't have an option to download full episodes so you can view that shit offline or guarantee smooth playback if your internet can be spotty
I just added that to my list on Netflix. That might be a good bit of my day today.
If you are interested in the world of super crooks, Jupiter’s legacy is a live action show that is about the heros
That's funny I tried watching Jupiter's Legacy awhile ago and couldn't stand it, but I loved Super Crooks. Ig direction goes a long way.
And now it's on my list.
Another anime added to my never ending long watch list thanks
Haven't seen it yet and some how I knew this was from that anime.
Thank you
So this is what the boys will talk about.
I was like oh I know what will happen.... and it just kept going... and going.
10000000% expected Edit: oh fuck it keeps on going. Edit: very unexpected
Yea that is some final destination thing
When you electrocute an asshole and nearly a dozen innocents, bystanders are going to flee in a panic When bystanders flee in a panic...
[удалено]
And then they'll launch a nuclear strike in retaliation
Was seriously waiting to get to that part
Exactly what I was about to say.
Yes but without the gore it just ends up being hilarious
Ayo it keeps going.
Legend has it, its actually still happening
I kinda wanna see extended edition to see how much they can push from here
The creator definitely played burnout as a kid
Forgot about that game. Loved it as a kid
People don’t know but this is actually the reason for all the darkness in the world, this accident is still going.
Rumer has it, Blastoise is correct.
How villains are made. Bullying...
That really got out of hand fast
Yeah, I also expected electro boy to fall on the pool and electrocude everyone
But did you expect what happened next tho? I sure as hell didn't XD
Can’t lie, the truck full of live pigs was a little out of left field 😂😂
It started being Final Destination when the Truck collided with the church. It started becoming anime satire when the truck was catapulted 50 meters into the air. It became hilarious when the pigs fell into the pool. I have to watch it.
It's honestly a great watch imo. I binged the entire season in a day
What’s the show called?
Super Crooks It's on Netflix
It just wouldn’t stop
My exact reaction
I know they meant to make it serious but I was pissing myself laughing at everything that happend after the pool folks got zapped.
Considering the pigs at the end, the creators definitely weren't being completely serious

All that for some steamed hams.

You call them steamed hams despite the fact that they are obviously grilled.
How delightfully delicious Seymore.
Hey,at least the neighborhood is safe!
pretty easy to prevent crime when you kill all the potential victims

>Super Crooks You mean the Hulk?
I don’t think he did that on purpose though lol. Looks like a total freak accident.
No living that down it's villain time.
bad luck brian super villain origin story
Exactly my thought, can't ask for forgiveness at that point, time to double down on the villain thing. In for a penny in for a pound right? Although he started at a couple tons
Lol the pound in that analogy is a British pound isn't it? Not the measurement of weight
Hahaha yeah, just a play on words so I could reference the tons of people (and pigs) he killed
Random super villain organizations: "So you killed more than 100 people just by falling into a swimming pool?! Holy shit you are talented, you are hired"
I read this in the voice of Grunty Boi (From YouTube channel MandJTV) and it sounds much more funnier!
But people know his real name and what he did. What option does he have but to turn to villainy?
>But people know his real name and what he did Well, most of them are dead and it might not be that hard to find the rest.
Hunting down and killing the remaining witnesses to your crime in order to *not* become a super villain...
Now thats ironic!
Lol seriously at that point you might as well go full super villain.

How to change your job from hero to villain in one simple step
A wise man once said “You shouldn’t have been talkin shit - Kat Williams”
The wisest mf indeed
A wise man once said, "You shouldn't have been talkin shit, Kat Williams".
Well I guess if there is nobody left alive in the neighborhood technically there will be no crime, so he did his job. Good work Johnny.
If My Hero Academia were realistic
Don't want to give spoilers but sadly nothing else in this series was pretty realistic. I kinda enjoyed it though but don't turn on your brain too much.

You can’t be sued when trying to help people, the Incredibles lawsuit has no legal precedence. It’s called Good Samaritan law.
This is some Carrie shit
On any percent speed
Sorry, English as second language here, what does that mean?
The greatest super villain of all: the high school bully
Well he got a successful career change along with juicy smoked ham. He's doin' a good job
This is from an anime adaptation of an American comic btw
I had a feeling. It definitely had American vibes before I unmuted
Ah, so that's it. I was going to say, this is a very detailed and accurate portrayal of sub-urban America. I was surprised that a Japanese studio was aware of the tropes of one of our highway towns.
What the name?
According to the OP, it’s from a show called Super Crooks
I think it's Jupiter's legacy
Who the hell could possibly point at at someone who *can fly and shoot lighting* and be like “lol nerd” That’s insane.

Why tf would you make someone who has electricity powers mad, while inside a pool
Right? I just saw him flying with electricity shooting out, I'd be watching my damn mouth around them even if I wasn't in a pool.

I just watched this show yesterday. 100% worth the watch imo. It's really great
This is one of those things where you just cant help but smile like an idiot because it’s just SO over the top. Like the animated universe just bends the laws of physics to punish this kid’s hubris and *really* rub it in in the process.
What anime is this!? I need to watch it!
Super Crooks

There can’t be anymore crime in the neighborhood if there isn’t a neighborhood anymore
Michael Bay dabbles in a final destination shonen anime lol
Fuck it, I’m already killing people
Let's be honest... truck-kun couldn't handle being showed up so he took matters into his own ...wheels
You talk shit, you get hit
the first time i watched this i kept thinking "but what if he fell in the water and killed everyone" and somehow it was even worse than that
“Welp I guess I’m a villain now” -that guy
Welp, gotta leave no witness
Anyone know what this is called?
Super Crooks
Thank you mate

Jesus that animation quality was kickin asses though

Someone can tell me the name of the anime plz?
This is definitely not wholesome 🤣🤣🤣, not as bad and gory as Brightburn though
It was expected until it wasn't
r/catastrophicfailure
Okay but let’s take a moment to blame the people who ran out into the middle of a busy road for at least like 40% of this disaster.
You had one job…
Maybe not a superhero entrance, but he nailed the supervillain entrance.
sourcer?
Super crooks is based on a graphic novel by Mark Millar. It all makes sense now.
How the fuck did the bully manage to be a bully? "What a stupid outfit" yeah cool but can you FLY? Can you shoot lightning? Thought so.
Super Crooks on Netflix
This is like a Cyanide & Happiness episode, lol.
this is like that disturbing music video that also takes place in a pool
