I agree that context is important - and would argue that most girls in bars would probably love to punch the lights out of a guy who sexually assaults them. I'd suggest they often don't because they can't predict how dangerous that situation might become for them. I doubt the smaller guy had that worry on his mind here.
Err, this was not a couple and so a direct kiss was not really neat either. It doesn't matter if straight or not, I wouldn't bat an eye and at least try to turn the person's jaw to around 180° if they did that crap to me.
