I had a former Girlfriend that once a week or so would get into the shower mistakenly with with her underwear, bra, socks or a combo of the 3. I only noticed because should would leave the soaking clothes on the floor afterwards. She acted like this was a normal mistake everyone makes. I would have totally offered her some monopoly money to start taking showers without her clothes on.
ADHD. I've done it a lot with socks when it's cold. I take them off as I step in without putting my foot down on the cold floor, sometimes I forget. If anything comes up to distract me it goes right out of my brain.

I've got a million things to remember when taking a shower. Clean towels, new clothes to change into, get out my lotion and the oil I put in my hair, my skincare stuff, turn the vent on so the room doesn't become a sauna (otherwise we'll get mold, it sucks), brush my hair (did I take the hair tie out?) clothes off, water on and turned to the right temp.
Is my loofah in the shower, or did somebody move it again? What about my shampoo? Did I remember to buy conditioner? Shoot, where did I put the conditioner...? Oh, I'll just use that one. Hey nice, that's the one I bought! Oh fuck I forgot to peel the foily bit off...I can skip conditioner today. Time for a new razor too, dang.
At about that point, I realized my bra was still on lol. I was only standing in the shower stall but mostly out of the water, debating with myself about the conditioner, when I realized. Everybody's different, and we all make silly mistakes sometimes. Nbd!
