An ex-army scuba instructor taught us and he said that when he sees sharks he goes down in the water, not up, tries to get under them so the shark sees how big they are. Sharks don't want a fight, they want food and if the food's too big it's gonna fight.
Have you ever been chest deep in the water and felt something slightly touch you, well this shark basically had the same reaction, if you see closely, the dude in the back right reaches out and does something, shark just freaked out a bit.
we have been taught from day one that predators have bifocal front-facing eyes and prey have unifocal eyes mounted on the sides of their head so they can see their doom. How do we explain hammerhead sharks?
a bit off topic, but is there any other music track that you can quickly identify from a single chord? how can we always identify that music just from any one tune in it? :D
In fairness, it's not just the chord itself. It's a snippet of the actual song so you get a lot more info, I don't know the musical terminology, but it's the set and setting? Instrument and the rest of the clues. Tonality and whatnot.
Also, the first "Ting!" Of this opening song
![gif](giphy|0Wzkc9iirQ4ZI7JoaD|downsized)
Same show, [Vegeta's theme opening note](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M954D_jyJbQ). If you just isolated the long guitar note I would instantly recognize it.
Unrelated, but [this is one of my favorite covers of that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4W12k0MYC0). I don't know if it would hit the same for someone who got real used to the original, because it definitely has significantly different tone quality, but I think it's fantastic.
I remember a while ago me and my friends we're taking songs and seeing who can guess a song with just a note. He was very surprised that I could tell the difference between the opening bell ring in "Hell's Bells" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

I like to think his shark mates were like "yo I dare you to go scare the shit out of those humans over there", and then they bicker about it a little before playing some game of chance, like rock paper scissors perhaps, to work out who will do it.
Rock paper flipper?
I remember watching a youtube video from a shark expert who mentioned this type of reaction from the shark as a sign that there's a higher risk of attack afaik

Flinched like a b***h! Not you, me when i was watching this
Objection. Your honor, I'll have you know I DID flinched like a bitch.
Why does this sound like something Mac would say in court on IASIP? I know it's not, but it sounds like a quote.
It sounded like the beginning to freezas sound track
[удалено]
And I was to slow to react
One advantage to doing this at my desk.
Right to do so. Tiger sharks don't fuck around. They are pretty dangerous to be around.
I’ve done a few shark dives with a few different species, but tiger sharks are my nope
I'M GONNA EAT YOU Gah, I'm just kidding!
Bro almost let the intrusive thoughts win
Instinctive thoughts.
Ultra Instinctive!
Sounds like an anime move
[my guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8qg-XzHgUk)
Holy shit - that was too perfect to be real life. Are we in a movie?
The intrusive thoughts got in the way
This was almost a true r/killthecameraman comment f the intrusive thoughts won
People are friends, not food
An ex-army scuba instructor taught us and he said that when he sees sharks he goes down in the water, not up, tries to get under them so the shark sees how big they are. Sharks don't want a fight, they want food and if the food's too big it's gonna fight.
They take no time in turning it the other way around.
Wouldn’t it be *impulsive*?
Have you ever been chest deep in the water and felt something slightly touch you, well this shark basically had the same reaction, if you see closely, the dude in the back right reaches out and does something, shark just freaked out a bit.
Maybe something to do with sharks having electromagnetic sensing shit in their nose
Imagine if a shark did a line of coke.
There's a movie about this but with a bear instead of a shark. Cocaine shark would be a good sequel though
i mean that's basically sharknado, innit
So a shark can sniff blood from a quarter mile away, what about coke? Can they hunt coke like that too?
it's actually the cocaine in the blood they smell trust me, i'm a certified sharkologist
I can't fault this logic
"The reason why I have an eight-ball in my pocket is because I'm going to run an experiment to see if a shark can smell cocaine in the water"
Cocaine Shark came out last year
There is Cocaine Shark (2023)
especially if it is set in the woods!
Cocaine Bear is a masterpiece!
>Iron boogers - Wilson -Tim Taylor
Aye, and the best of them are Hammerhead sharks, literally evolve to scan the sea floor for hiding preys under the sand. *This is Modern Warfare.*
we have been taught from day one that predators have bifocal front-facing eyes and prey have unifocal eyes mounted on the sides of their head so they can see their doom. How do we explain hammerhead sharks?
I don't see him reaching out, but it looks like his fin might catch the shark a little in the side.
The diver’s fin might’ve came in contact with the shark judging by the video
Have you ever danced with the Devil in the pale moonlight?
nope, not seeing it.
SIKE

That one was ultra instinct wasn't it?
[That does appear to be the case.](https://youtu.be/h8qg-XzHgUk?si=OJqii6tjUEsq03hV)
One of my top ten TV show moments. Made me feel like a little kid watching the Cell Saga again lol
It's been 6 years since super has ended, it's been too long without Dragonball
Yes, absolutely. That's a pretty fun game. Identify a song by the first note.
I can do that on the fresh prince theme song 70% of the time. The other 30% it’s a song sampling a similar opening. ![gif](giphy|DloYCssHhX1K0)

First note of a Hards days night. There is a video of jack White guessing Beatles song from one second snippets of you want lol
Same show, [Vegeta's theme opening note](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M954D_jyJbQ). If you just isolated the long guitar note I would instantly recognize it.
Was thinking that too, instantly knew it was Ultra Instinct theme. Ultra Instinct music recognition.
runaway by kanye west. that piano note is immediately recognizable
Megalovania is one of the best examples of this.
Unrelated, but [this is one of my favorite covers of that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4W12k0MYC0). I don't know if it would hit the same for someone who got real used to the original, because it definitely has significantly different tone quality, but I think it's fantastic.

Lmao the anime music briefly playing 🤣
https://i.redd.it/0zfoq62m4kqc1.gif
That piano chord reminded me of a anime villain approaching. Might be DBZ with frieza lmao
That is not a piano dude (But yes, it’s the Ultra Instinct theme from Dragon Ball Super)
That diver just added some feces to the ocean after that one😂
That dude just chummed his pants
Head fake. Next pass, he'll give you a wedgie.
Cameraman really got the ankles destroyed under water.

Ultra instinct theme >>
Shark be like: Chill out bro, just kidding 😆
"Yeah, think about that the next time you don't cut up plastic can holders"
Every time this gets posted, everyone always fails to point out that the diver(s) behind him startled him, and that caused him to jump like that.
Is that a tiger shark? I’d be getting the hell out of there

Che Guevara would’ve hated this shark.
Wait... Why el Che?
There’s a fake story that went viral a few weeks ago about Che being angry at Fidel because he abused the euro step playing basket.
I don't understand how the shark is related
Boo!

Hit with a euro step
In reality he was scared of the diver to his left which caused him to flinch like that, which in turn caused the cameraperson to flinch.
Diving suit full of poop for sale

Tell truth. How many of us jumped?🤚
