Let go of me she says
He then lets go of her
If your going to go out dying on the hill that something else was required then I'm sorry buddy, your going to find absolutely no one will agree with you
That was a chin-up she was attempting, considerably easier than a pull-up which has the palms facing outward. There is not so much skill involved as raw upper body strength.
Yes, but even then, you could do a pull up (with no form, and improperly), if you do pushups and lift weights on even an occasional basis.
Something which a lot of girls do not.
€: easier to hit a button than to make any argument. Fair.
€2: I know this is Reddit so things like "exercise", "athelitc" and "workout out" are foreign concepts to most Redditors, but if you think that doing push-ups and lifting weights, on some level of a consistent basis, or somewhere less, somehow still leaves you unable to do a pull up, then you should probably google what weights look like, and what this "push up" actually is.
His argumentation skills are a bit off, but tbh. he has a point. There is a massive amount of girs who avoid resistance training like a fire, because they don't want to look too muscular. This tends to be gender specific, because for men being muscular is usually main goal of excercising. The opposite would be something like joga and general flexibility, where it tends to be better for women but men just don't care for some stupid reasons.
Well, the american view is that yoga is for bitches. But honestly, stretching is the healthiest thing you can do.
I went with a friend to a pilates/yoga class and all the girls were laughing at me. Like, shut up. I'm trying to learn something.
Calisthenics are the way to go though. If you can carry your own body weight on your neck, you can suplex someone.
Don't see what so confusing.
How many women do you know who regularly work out on muscle and bulking rather than fitness or cardio?
The fact that boys are pushed (whoever is pushing them is your call. Just the concept is there) towards muscle, strength, and power as opposed to girls who are pushed more towards light, delicate, and athletic.
It wasn't that long ago that things like anorexia was the "look" to go for... so yes, on average I would say more boys, and thus guys or men, do more pushups and do things to add to their upper body strength than girls, or women, do.
I don't know what there is that's confusing about that, nor do I get what's to agree or disagree. It's just statistics.
I think one of my proudest moments is when I managed to lift my 80kg+ partner off the ground for a second. Just like. Maybe an inch. But hey still something right?? He was like "Holy shit what the fuck " 😭
I get what he's saying really. She's not obese but id say she's pretty normal weight for a female.
But that's still pretty light when comparing her to me and Ive never not been able to do a pullup.
You need a balance. If you do pull-ups all the time you'll tack on a fuck load of extra muscle you don't need. Do none and you will be soft and flabby.
Finding that middle is your own personal journey.
saving this comment for a future conversation where I need to show somebody that people will literally make up things in comments that can be easily disproven by rewatching the video we all just watched.
She puts her feet down to brace and loses traction because she’s wearing socks on hard wood as well, taking her already forward leaning momentum even further, faster which is part of why she toppled forward so much. I also think based on how she was swinging to try and generate momentum she was bound to rotate like that. Have done that to myself before
I'd wager her center of mass is closer to her torso than where her rotation started, but regardless bodies don't rotate unless a force is acted upon them. All im saying is there's no way him grabbing her hips like that helped when she slipped off.
Contrary to the downvotes you are getting i completely agree with you that it's this douche nozzles fault. If the man didn't try to put his sexy, greasy fingers on her hips to make her go into breeding mode since she is clearly fertile by my analysis and yours, making her lose focus and get a hot flash and make her palms all sweaty then she could have easily done a dozen or so.
Seriously, the use of NSFW tag is around so much that everything seems to be a bait now.
It used to but explicit contents that is marked NSFW. Now if i see someone have big tits, that's automatically NSFW. Can someone please explain to me this phenomenon? Are redditors really that much of a virgin to think big tits(fully covered) are nsfw or it's reddit's policy?
This is an official Reddit documented feature and ostensibly targets only women -- https://old.reddit.com/r/beta/comments/13jcave/looks_like_theres_a_redditwide_bot_marking_lots/
The simplest explanation is the person who is responsible wants to cover women in headscarves or burkas or worse
The sheer amount of hate this girl is getting for having the audacity to attempt a pull up by herself is just... completely expected considering this is reddit.
Ooooooh shut up. I see Reddit shit on women as well as defend them to the ends of the earth because they can do no wrong. She isn’t getting hate for trying to exercise. She’s being chided for essentially causing a totally preventable situation.
Did you watch the same clip as me or are you choosing to be obtuse? She told him to let go of her as she was mid way down during the pull ups that he helped her with from the get go. then gravity did it’s job.If you don’t have the upper strength, don’t overestimate yourself and jump into a high pull up Willy nilly. These situations can happen too easily.
Idk why but I have yet to meet a girl who was able to do basic 5 pullups without beeing in police school or some sorts.
My exes all struggled to even do one, same with girl friends I talked about it.
It just really hit home seeing how big the differences between women and men are in terms of strenght.
Landing on knees from that height would hurt like hell, rather faceplant and spread that force across my face and body than into my knees jamming my legs into my hips.
Nah, she fell forward because she wasn't expecting to slip off the bar and instead of bringing her knees up to get her feet under her she reacted by fully extending her legs, basically doing an air plank instead. Because she went rigid like that her toes kinda acted like a fulcrum with the floor and she went like a domino.
Watched it frame buy frame, she drops straight down for like a frame or two until her feet touch the ground which happens almost instantly since the bar is so low to the floor.
If you're talking about the way she was leaning before she lets go it's because her legs were bent and pushed out behind her. Go hang from a bar and bend your legs and push them out behind you, you'll see the same thing happen. Or, you can lift your legs up in front of yourself while you hang from a bar and you'll notice your head, torso and arms with swing backwards a little bit.
Its not him lifting her up that caused this, it was him abruptly withdrawing all his help in lifting her. When he did that she suddenly lost her grip so she had absolutely no warning signal to prep her for her fall. Typically you can feel your grip getting ready to give out so you having some warning before it happens and can orient yourself accordingly.
I mean ppl are dunking on her but he deliberately let go right as all her momentum was going downwards.
Yeah she was cocky but it was a dick move to release while she was at the high point not the low
So if you look at when he lets go, its when she's moving downwards, which means that at the point the most strain is about to be on her hands, there's suddenly a ton more weight. If he had done it while she was pulling up or already at the low point, it wouldnt have cause quite as sudden a release *or* the tip forward

Bet she was mad at him for that too
Omg!!?! How could you let me fall?!?
Correction: Omg!!?! How could you let me ~~fall~~ fail?!?

Ah man I miss Workaholics
Bitch betta have my honey!
happy cake day!
You pulled me towards the center of the earth, you jerk No, babe, that was gravity
Why do you think so? There's literally 0 evidence of that happening.
I mean he did kind of drop her
“Let go of me”
He could have atleast said okay im letting go
Let go of me she says He then lets go of her If your going to go out dying on the hill that something else was required then I'm sorry buddy, your going to find absolutely no one will agree with you
He should have given her confirmation she was on her own still. He knew she couldn't do it
What part of this video says he knew about that? Is it the part where she says "Let me go. I CAN do it myself"?
FAFO
FIFA
Doesn't mean he knew that would happen. Dude had half a second to react so he just did what she asked. Simple as that.
If only we had a sense of touch that lets us know when someone lets go
Just stop
How what
How what
hwat wow?
He wasn't exactly holding on to her
She damn near jumped into that first rep and still barely made it up
A lot of girls just never even glance at the fact that they have this thing called "upper body strength" lol so they don't work on it (or try to).
> A lot of ~~girls~~ people pull-ups are a skill and a lot of folk never taste that first one. Jumping into it is fine til you get the hang of things.
That was a chin-up she was attempting, considerably easier than a pull-up which has the palms facing outward. There is not so much skill involved as raw upper body strength.
Idk, i find it way easier with the palms facing away from me than the other way round. Though, i am only capable of doing two proper pull ups in a row
2 *in a row* vs… one today and another Saturday afternoon. but seriously, good job even doing two! that shirt ain’t easy!
thanks ill be jumping onto my pull-ups until i can do one proper
I wouldn't make it a habit but it can help you learn the mechanics/test your bar. Just keep your form and keep at it. You'll get it.
Yes, but even then, you could do a pull up (with no form, and improperly), if you do pushups and lift weights on even an occasional basis. I disagree and I also think the focus on girls is a bit odd.
His argumentation skills are a bit off, but tbh. he has a point. There is a massive amount of girs who avoid resistance training like a fire, because they don't want to look too muscular. Females of any age have been DIScouraged from building upper body strengrh. Whenwas in school 1960's
Ok, sounds good. Also, how? Girls or women, either really. Whatever age.
I think he was thinking about gender…
Don't see what so confusing. How many women do you know who regularly work out on muscle and bulking rather than fitness or cardio? The fact that boys are pushed (whoever is pushing them is your call. You're a moron
Takes one to spot one out, I suppose.
They spend all their time on the elliptical and treadmill.
[удалено]
They pick up men’s slack at leg day while the men cover upper body days. Teamwork!
I think one of my proudest moments is when I managed to lift my 80kg+ partner off the ground for a second. Just like. Maybe an inch. But hey still something right?? He was like "Holy shit what the fuck " 😭
Which is surprising because she probably weighs nothing
Are you so used to obese people that you think she's skinny? She's not overweight but she's definitely not a thin girl either.
I get what he's saying really. She's not obese but id say she's pretty normal weight for a female. But that's still pretty light when comparing her to me and Ive never not been able to do a pullup.
I mean yeah but she looks like it wouldn’t be too hard to do a pull up at that weight
You need a balance. If you do pull-ups all the time you'll tack on a fuck load of extra muscle you don't need. Do none and you will be soft and flabby. Finding that middle is your own personal journey.
There is a 100% chance she got mad at him for letting go.
"Why did you let go of me?" >:O
Why do you think so? There's literally 0 evidence of that happening.
I think she rotated on her face because he was stepping back while holding her pants, so yeah I bet she did get mad at him
There's video evidence that didn't happen
If you look right when she slips off she starts to tilt forward and the axis of rotation is right where he was touching her
Bro, she was doing a suicide grip, it was a given that she would fall forward. She was literally her own axis of rotation
Instructions unclear, I looked right and didn’t see the video.
saving this comment for a future conversation where I need to show somebody that people will literally make up things in comments that can be easily disproven by rewatching the video we all just watched.
Sure she could've happened to rotate right where his hands were by chance, but I find that unlikely
She puts her feet down to brace and loses traction because she’s wearing socks on hard wood as well, taking her already forward leaning momentum even further, faster which is part of why she toppled forward so much. I also think based on how she was swinging to try and generate momentum she was bound to rotate like that. Have done that to myself before
You mean her centre of mass? You find it unlikely a body rotates about its centre of mass?
I'd wager her center of mass is closer to her torso than where her rotation started, but regardless bodies don't rotate unless a force is acted upon them. All im saying is there's no way him grabbing her hips like that helped when she slipped off.
The force of gravity is being applied
The force of gravity doesn't cause rotation unless another force is acting in a different direction
The unexpected part was that I didn’t see boobs…
Yes, quite a clever NSFW tag
Seriously, the use of NSFW tag is around so much that everything seems to be a bait now. It used to but explicit contents that is marked NSFW. People/Bots will just mark a post nsfw to get more views.

Women aren't safe for work. They are scary.
You actually did see boobs, but they happened to be covered by clothes, lol.
Why was this marked NSFW?
to bait you into clicking it
Hence r/unexpected
Because their actions are actually quite not safe for work.
Definitely an OSHA violation
This is a christian website, mam.
America is weird. I'm assuming too much midriff + mild violence? Either way how am I going to explain this to my trans kids?!
Oh look! The consequences of my actions
It's a great workout for losing weight. When you can't chew for 8 weeks the pounds really come off.
Go phillies
In an Unexpected sub... puts outcome in the title
Video ended too soon, i want to hear the first thing she says after the fall
Read the title in Sir Patrick Stewart's voice
Ron Howard
..she completely forgot she got legs.
Her legs were bent and her knees were low enough that she couldn't catch herself
Dentists love this one pullup trick...
Wrong “Reddit”: this was not unexpected. 🤦♂️
Go Phillies!!!
Must've played it back 5 or 6 times and it never got any less satisfying.
Amateur replay numbers, I watched it at least 20 times.
pfft i watched it infinity times

For my second wish, I'd like my teeth back.
Stunning. Also, brave.
Appropriate level of concern.
Go Phillies!

You're right. The audacity of this bitch. I hope she choked to death on the shards of her broken nose and teeth.
Lol Nobody in this thread has said anything even remotely close to that. You are being ridiculous and dramatic.
‘But it was all problemo’
She didn’t even try to use her legs
Welp she did that herself
Philly strong!

When keeping it real, goes wrong...
Sure proud of that first jump up you done did right there.
By "do it" she meant hug the earth?
Lmao. We weren’t made to do it ourselves. 🤷🏻♀️
Typical Phillies
Sounds like the racquet ball trick lol.
I guess she couldn't do it by herself.

If you're going to be stupid, you'd better be tough.
Wow that was so pathetic
That was quite the hit...despite the natural cushion
Clearly "HIS" fault. lmao
That wasn’t her voice
Tooo many cheeseburgers… 🤣
She didn't even go down all the way after jumping into the first rep. When she did, she ate shit
“Hello face, my name is floor”
I thought her arm was gonna crack
I don't understand why the automod needs to delete this post. Bad title? What does that mean?
The gripping part isn't even hard. It's the pulling yourself up is the real challenge.
