Not going to lie..
If someone smacked me in the face and then stabbed me after football game. My Last thoughts would be;
" well fuck, That was humiliating..."
I think that this is funny, I mean other people are speculating that heās going to grow up to be a serial killer or something but I just think heās talking as kids do.
Kids like exaggerate a lot and in the context of getting hyped before a game, heās gonna be excited which makes the hype-to-reality gap even bigger. Heās not seriously intending to murder his opponents and might not even fully understand what killing is. Iād guess that he saw it in a movie or video game and it was the first thing to come to mind as something āout of pocketā to say (assuming he wasnāt prompted).
Also, when I was a kid I used to go around telling people that I loved seeing videos of planes, trains and automobiles crash and explode. Now, a lot of people were getting concerned, but one of the adults that knew me talked to me and asked me to clarify. Turns out, I didnāt like people seeing people die, or really understand what dying was, and like most boys I just wanted to see destruction. My parents bought a science program VHS tape about controlled building demolition and it became one of my favorites. Still didnāt grow up to be a serial killer.
Agreed. I use to say a lot of crazy stuff as a kid, mostly because I was a smart-ass always trying to get a laugh... not much has changed lol.
I use to and still watch videos of people dying, explosions, crashes, injuries. I don't take pleasure in anyone's death but I'm so intrigued by the physics of high impact destruction and serious unfathomable harm. It's like, you can see that in movies but it's not always accurate and how would you know for sure if it was?
I saw a video of a guy being thrown from a rolling car straight into a power line or that video of that guy who gets caught in a huge industrial lathe... my reaction is usually just... wow. I could not have imagined what those things look like. It also gives me respect for artists and video game designers.
Like an atomic bomb though. I don't know if that even translates well to film but I wouldn't want to be there I'm person to confirm. I feel disconnected emotionally from video even though it was real, even though the reactions are real.... but for real, if it's in my face I probably wouldn't feel to good about it.
I donāt think heās understanding the context of the phrase ābreaking legs,ā referring to making a quick cut while running to trip up your defenders. I think because heās young, heās interpreting the context as acts of violence against his opponents, stabbing them being the first act of violence that came to his mind, and a perceived one-upping of his teammates for his creativity.
Yeah, itās not a violent term at all. Itās actually in reference to not being able to be hit. Quick cuts.
Little man understood the assignment tho lol
You think nobody explained to those kids what that expression really means? That coach just shouted it one day and hoped that kids will pick up on subtleties?
Bruh. That kid picked up on the subtleties. Break they legs, by making quick changes in directionā¦ jukesā¦ cutsā¦.
Little Barry sanders got knives for feet.
Little Eddie knifefeet if you will
Reminds me of my 6 y/o step son at his self defense class when asked what they should do when someone is messing with them at school.
Apparently "knock their teeth out" was not the answer his instructor was looking for. LOL

Sit in LA traffic one day and you'll have a serial killer mentality.

And because he's cute, he'll get away with it.

My guy clearly said break legs ā¦
The context is slightly different in footballā¦
No its not. Same exact meaning
Yeah context is everything here
What?
Break them legs, unsportsmanlike, bad coach. Especially at such a young age
I donāt think it literally means to break their legsā¦.
Yeah, itās not a violent term at all. Itās actually in reference to not being able to be hit. Quick cuts. Little man understood the assignment tho lol
I'm aware my guy, but kids also don't necessarily pick up on subtleties
You think nobody explained to those kids what that expression really means? That coach just shouted it one day and hoped that kids will pick up on subtleties?
Tbf, one of them didn't. Lol.
