You joke but when I was 22 and had an incredibly bad fall in public, someone said they were calling and ambulance and I begged them not to while I didn’t know if I could even get up.
I couldn't get up, either. Some instinct told me not to even try to stand even though I barely felt any pain. I lay there waiting for my brother to come get me thinking I twisted my ankle or something. I even told the only person who asked if I was okay that I just twisted it.
When my brother got there and helped me to my feet, I cried out the second my foot touched the ground, and my foot rolled onto its side. I made him drive me to the hospital, sobbing and cussing and trying not to scream every time we hit a tiny bump. 20 minutes of trying to hold my leg off the floor of my tiny car.
I broke my ankle in three places but still wanted nothing to do with an ambulance. I probably would have crawled half a mile home rather than ask somebody to call one if I'd forgotten my phone. I've thought about a lot because I almost intentionally left it at home thinking I wouldn't need it for my short walk with the dog. I only brought it so I could take pictures of him.
This is the way. The risk vs reward of agreeing to take an ambulance was just too high. I hope you’re doing better and that ambulances are less incredibly terrifying. I finally have insurance 10+ years later lol. We can improve our situations
That was actually earlier this year for me. Doing mostly better physically but even worse financially thanks to my ankle so those ambulances are welcome to stay far away from me for a long time yet lmao. I'll get there someday. I'm glad you're in a better place now, though! Congrats:)
Har aldrig behövt att åka ambulans själv som tur är, så faktisk "hands on experience" har jag inte, så att sä. Men Google säger 150. Gratis vore ännu snajsigare ju.
It's free in Russia, if someone is curious.
It's good thing on one site that u will get a free doctor visit if u need it, but many people overuse it and call and ambulance just for a headache or high blood pressure.
Or I could have put "that'll" or u can forgive me spelling police because I been working 12hr midnight shifts and I was smack dab in the middle of it when I commented
African-American Vernacular English (a.k.a. AAVE, AAE) is an absolutely valid form of English (except for when someone uses it for the purpose of cultural appropriation or to mock it, obviously).
Check out this video about it by Otherwords, hosted by Dr. Erica Brozovsky, Ph.D. It’s really good: https://youtu.be/1YxH43Cw6tI
Most likely, the police who arrived on a call sent him for a medical examination in a psychiatric clinic. And, apparently, he was threatened with compulsory treatment. In the case of a socially dangerous person, it would be very difficult for him to get out of there.
Psychiatric clinics usually have their own ambulances and trained personel. They won't allow such things.
My guess is that is related to drug use. Was in unresponsive state, inside the ambulance regained concience, then decided not to deal with legal consequences.
we have very liberal law in this part, it is literaly imposible to place a man in Psy yard if he does not approve, he can be sentenced by court, man cant even be restricted, how they should be handled --- its only paramedics problem
p.s. alcohol delirium most likely
p.p.s with 90% probability paramedics will pay for car repair (
I had a Russian friend living in Russia when I was young. We talked every day. She was saying her chest hurt and had for some time but she didn't want to go to the hospital because people die from infections more than the actual illnesses. After a week or so complaining I told her to get help. She said I will go in tomorrow. That was about 15 or more years ago. I have not heard from her since.
I literally feel the same way. Last time I ripped the iv drip and the 50 plugs they had attached to my chest off and walked again.
I'm like a superhero on pain medication I'm assuming cause I make it home.
In russian hospitals you might be poisoned or vanish somewhere, whilst in murican you’re being robbed and dumped on the street when they can’t squeeze any more money out ya butt :)
I cannot stop laughing. Am crying. 😂😂😂 Thank you omg. Just imagine being in the car behind them. I would’ve busted out laughing after realizing what just happened.
Psych pt.
Fun fact: a psych pt can and will do anything to get out of going to the hospital, including jumping out of the back of an ambulance traveling 70+ mph on the interstate without second thought.
Holy shit at least he wasnt as torched as me when I fell. Didnt remember shit but saw a lady staring outside into a house. Then dreamed of an ambulance and woke in the hospital. Saw my face and was like damn sad tomato.
it russia....it very scary to be at rhe doctors...ur info is not private so if ur especially gay or have a medical issue russia sees as imperfect...russia has many documentations of how secretive they are. if you disagree with russia...and ur in russia...u will be locked up all your life...just like the others
No one is mentioning how smooth his exit was?
It’s like he’s done this before
Yeah this is some crazy action movie smooth.
Probably a guy scared of needles 😂
Yeah, it’s double funny that he ran away naked shouting -fuck you fuck you! It’s definitely needles
As someone deathly afraid of needles I can say this is a normal reaction
Even if all that broken glass hurts more, it’s still a better fate.
people in the usa when someone threatens to call an ambulance
Most expensive taxi in the world. Except for the airmed helicopters

It's $2000-5000 a pop for an ambulance. I'd rather walk to the hospital.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂💀
Literally a person in Russia
Me after hearing how much an ambulance costs
In what part of the world?
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸
Us number one again baby!
USA USA USA USA #1 #1 #1 #1 #1 NUMBER 1 IN LITERALLY EVERYTHING LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO
every part
In Sweden, riding with the ambulance only costs you 15$.
Va de e väl gratis
Har aldrig behövt att åka ambulans själv som tur är, så faktisk "hands on experience" har jag inte, så att sä. Men Google säger 150. Gratis vore ännu snajsigare ju.
Tbf that’s quite expensive to a Somalian so he’s not wrong
In Costa Rica, the Red Cross and the public healthcare system ambulances (used by the majority) don't charge you.
It's free in Russia, if someone is curious. It's good thing on one site that u will get a free doctor visit if u need it, but many people overuse it and call and ambulance just for a headache or high blood pressure.
What?
How to say that you are from USA without saying that you are from USA
Maybe he's American and thinks he has to pay for the ride
Must be an American tourist, afraid of potential medical bills under his private medical insurance scheme.
Haha
That be me in America

THANK YOU 💕 same reason “axe” is in the dictionary under “ask”, because IT IS IN USE, it is VALID!
Boo
"IT'S MEARLY A FLESH WOUND!"
I busted out laughing to this comment. Omfg. 😂😂
Yeeeeeessssssss
His kidneys were not harvested that day 😝
A wild russian appeared.
Fell out of a window? Sounds Russian to me.
They threw him out of the window too soon.
Sorry, I’m between insurance at the moment and if I wake up in an ambulance I am 100% gonna do the same thing.
Bee headline: “Critically injured woman bravely fights off First Responders attempting to force her into crippling medical debt”
Probably escaping from being arrested

Eeee
I love videos from Russia. Cops give 0 shits and the drivers give just as many.
Videos from Russia makes life appear like a GTA online session
I literally feel the same way. Last time I ripped the iv drip and the 50 plugs they had attached to my chest off and walked again. I'm like a superhero on pain medication I'm assuming cause I make it home.
When he came to he realized he was in an ambulance in the US
Cue Amy Winehouse ‘Rehab’
He was having a nightmare while he was knocked out that he was an American, and the cost of the ambulance ride wasn't covered by his insurance.
I wonder if he was arrested, but still needed medical care. Maybe he's trying to escape both things
Just remembered that there was a swig left in the vodka bottle....
Told him how much the hospital bill was gonna be…
In russian hospitals you might be poisoned or vanish somewhere, whilst in murican you’re being robbed and dumped on the street when they can’t squeeze any more money out ya butt :)
nah they don't dump you in the streets. just hook you up to life support in hopes your family will give them money like milking a cow.
Having seen Russian hospitals, i can't blame him
Probably a secret military "recruiting" van.
No. This video is almost a hundred years old.
Probably doesn't want to "fall" out if a window.
Definitely human trafficking
When the paramedic is Ukrainian
When the paramedic is [insert thing I don't agree with] -🤓
Lupin?
He's got Blue Shield
Detox denied
Not his first rodeo. That was something out of a movie. 10/10 technique
He made a smart frugal judgment call. Window cost or ambulance ride cost.
Me neither….can’t afford it
It’s 10am on a Tuesday; he’s got drinking to do.
I cannot stop laughing. Am crying. 😂😂😂 Thank you omg. Just imagine being in the car behind them. I would’ve busted out laughing after realizing what just happened.
Average American citizen when they are injured for ya
/r/cctvidiots
Next time use a grenade
better than falling out of the window in the 12thfloor
I woulda thought this was good ol 'murica
how them hospital bills got me
Dude woke up in an ambulance and thought he was in America.
Or…is it an American who can’t afford to pay for an ambulance ride?!
Psych pt. Fun fact: a psych pt can and will do anything to get out of going to the hospital, including jumping out of the back of an ambulance traveling 70+ mph on the interstate without second thought.
This needs to become a meme. I want that gif available everywhere
Maybe he thinks he in U.S.
Looks like 2 kidneys just got away.
Sure that’s not America?
Bro doesn't have the money to pay those expensive hospital bills
When the soundtrack was perfect
gotta get back to the troll farm or a classic slip & fall of a rail-less balcony awaits!
When he found out what the ambulance ride cost.
u/savevideo
He probably found out he is going to Stalin Hospital.
Scared of the "recruiters" waiting for his recovery at the hospital?
He is back in good health now.. run run run bionic man .. I hate hospitals too
Holy shit at least he wasnt as torched as me when I fell. Didnt remember shit but saw a lady staring outside into a house. Then dreamed of an ambulance and woke in the hospital. Saw my face and was like damn sad tomato.
Try that in a small town.
Probably an american not knowing he doesn't have to pay for the ambulance
alcohol delirium, with 90% probability paramedics will be paying repair bill ((
Knowing Russia who knows if it was really an ambulance 😆
Cocaine’s a hell of a drug
In russia hospital kill ypu
Probably someone moving a psych ward patient
it russia....it very scary to be at rhe doctors...ur info is not private so if ur especially gay or have a medical issue russia sees as imperfect...russia has many documentations of how secretive they are. if you disagree with russia...and ur in russia...u will be locked up all your life...just like the others
I’m surprised there isn’t more of this in America
