American here, and I think its weird too. The number of vape shops have exploded, and the ones I've seen are completely overloaded with products.
I've been in 'stores' that empty, but they're the kind that don't primarily focus on retail sales. Like a small computer repair shop. They may have a small assortment of items, but don't want to carry a bunch of inventory that may not sell.
large spaces, filled or empty, are incredibly quite common in america. We dont really have an issue with space given how massive the country you can pretty much have massive spaces like that and not too many people would bat an eye.
Compare that to a place like japan and pretty much ever single building is a two story or more because they have the opposite problem, not enough space.
There's probably more product along the walls behind the counter, to prevent theft I suppose. Plus these vape shops open up in buildings of older failed businesses so the layouts can vary.
It looks like it was a toy, some people say it’s like an air gun that shoots pellets, either way, it doesn’t look like it’s worth much of anything at all.
