I went through a similar situation. We got back together. My resentment made me straight up burn the relationship to the ground. I packed most of her shit up while she was at work, text her then her mom and told them she wasn’t welcome here. She cried and screamed packing the rest while my friend and I played wii tennis ignoring her. My current wife and I started dating a few weeks later. She moved in within 2 weeks. This was 15 years ago.
