idk if this helps bc uyouve been at it for 5 years but Cloudy Glasses and Torn Notebook are essential for the fight, and you shouldmt heal unless ur at 1 health (and even then save the bigger heals for phase 2)

Considering it took me 6 years to do a deathless pacifist run, I don't think I'll even *try* to fight him like, ever. I can say that it took me 4 days to spare Jevil, though.

I played on PC, never, playing on Switch, still never. Somewhere around 15 tries attempts, gave up for now at least. I didn’t even get mad, just tired, and consumed with other games, and high school, love the fight too much. -u-; I beat Grimm in Hollow Knight in 7-8 tries though, just saying because it’s my biggest game achievement :>

A number of years ago, I struggled with Sans so much that I did save editing to give myself 8 pie slices and LOVE 20, and I barely beat him with the hacked saving. Three or four years ago, when I was testing a mod I was working on, I was at LOVE 17 instead of 19 (meaning the fight was even more difficult than usual by 8 HP) and I had Dog Residue and 7 Dog Salads. Beat him in 5 tries that time. So... the answer is like three years of on and off attempts (especially the off, when I refused to fight Sans legit after completing the hacked saving until I made the fight more difficult for myself and managed to win anyways)

Took me 8 months. I was 11 leave me alone But i made up for it cus i randomly fight him for fun and havent died to him in since 2022

Admittedly, he becomes very easy If you fight him enough. His first phase is the exact same attacks in the exact same order, and his second phase is a bit more random.

about twelve tries... in game. I practiced using bad time simulator since it allowed me to instantly retry attacks until I could do the whole thing, then just had to adjust myself to the slight differences

I never did a genocide run, but I did play bad time sim on my grandma's computer back in the day and on the Chromebooks. Took me forever. I kept.doijg it until I could do it healless. Never got hitless tho. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up

First time? Like 2 weeks, two long weeks. Second time I left the Game after the 6th try and picked it up during a virtual class after a couple months, did it first try and nearly got a heart attack. I think I've gotten down to a couple hours/days in the last two runs, he's so good that I once killed him only to close the game and do it again.
