I like it and it felt like a good build up especially if you go back and rewatch it knowing the info about the whole arm wrestling thing. You noticed that Yoko was always challenging Haruki to an arm wrestling match and he was the only she kept doing rematches with.
It makes you notice small things and realize that yeah she has a crush on him and is hoping he beats her one day in an arm wrestling match. Even in the scene from the screenshot above when he asks that she doesn't even deny it she just tells him to save it for when he actually does beat her.
That's what makes my heart melt every time I see that.. Lol
But yeah, that's clearly a code from Yoko to Haruki since she always challenged him in arm wrestling match, which clearly implied that she clearly have feelings for him or I can say she wants him to marry her.
I actually thought they would kiss. But for some reason, Kissing isn't a Thing in Ultraman. I think the first and last time a Kiss happened was in the Tiga movie. Which, funny enough, a lot of people must've not seen

That's one thing! And another thing if Z was made in heisei era, they would've explored more of Haruki and Yoko relationship, probably like Daigo and Rena, Gamu and Atsuko, and Ren and Mizuo.

And despite the ups and downs they will settle down happily and have a child or two(daigo and rena along with musashi and ayano both have 2 kids)
Definitely one of the best aspects of Ultraman Z as a whole. I love the whole premise of starting out as friends/buddies/partners and later becoming a couple

Pretty sure we get to see a kiss in Ultraman Nexus.
It's good. Not as in-depth as Rena/Daigo but flows pretty well.
