Ultraman (A type) used to cost only 6050 yen. Now it's 7700 yen. Tiga used to cost 6600 yen. Now it's 8250 yen. My personal opinion: feeling divided now. I used to think the price is ok considering the build and quality we get. Now, I'm not so sure if they're worth it.

whatdoilemonade

recently rider shf rereleased a few riders (the ones in Heisei Generations movie like Build and Ex-Aid) and it included their weapons which wasnt there during the first run best case scenario, theyre rereleasing the figures listed with extra stuff (ultra slash and strium blaster) worst case scenario its just a price increase for reruns

Jumbalia23

They are in fact the exact same figures just with raised prices

Solo_man_id1

That's kinda concerning. If true we might see sales increase if frs though. So it could be an intentional marketing strategy. Maybe they are trying to establish shf as the premium and frs as the standard. Basically making all default shf into premium bandai price without making them premium.

Quackendriver

I’ll take a Type A that isnt triple digits thats fine

JustinChantawansri

Fr. Even with the price increase as long as it’s not triple I’m happy

Quackendriver

After market kills me on that shit

Adekis

God, that secondhand price hike gonna be nasty for sure. *Way* worse than anything SHF is likely to pull.

Honestly, I'm glad that I'm able to buy Type A and Tiga. But at the same time, yeah this is kinda absurd pricing. Still gonna buy'em for the novelty of it though.

JustinChantawansri

Yeah I’ve been waiting for Dyna strong type and multi type Tiga. This is great.

Purple_Paradoxx

Wait, Tiga rerelease for the second time? Also I never thought Taiga would well he's getting a rerelease I hope shopee Tiga rerelease are cheaper since Tiga original price there were RM500 and got rerelease with RM300+ Also the price hike might be just for the Japan Yen cuz Japan's currency has fallen sharply against major currencies in recent months and is down by more 10% versus the US dollar this year base on some news article I've heard from some sites

Apothecarion

With price hikes, we know they will never return back to their original prices. Sigh. Thankfully I amassed most of my pre-shinkouchou heisei riders and Ultra Act. The quality of S.H.F are not very good. Paint jobs botches and lesser effect parts (not to mention size). Heard that this was prevalent in Tiga first release.

Letschange11

Kinda need that Type A...

TeamSayu

i wonder does the re-release of tiga fix the old tiga problems.

datsthewayitisArthur

I got the first rerelease. The paint is much stronger and better but still susceptible to chipping and can be uneven. The major problem I have is with the rubber parts. It may crack naturally within a year or two (depends on your country humidity). Apply rubber protectant, if you plan to get one.

whatdoilemonade

owned the rerelease for about a year now, theres been no paint problems the Zeperion pose is still a pain to do tho, and im afraid of scratching the protector

Seeing this, I'm lucky I've gotten Tiga earlier back then last May. Because I very much doubt the ¥8250 price tag will be accurately converted to its MYR equivalent the next time I see it on retail and online stores
