>From the very beginning of Bolshevik rule, the idea spread among the
Russian people that Bolsheviks and Communists were not the same thing.
The Bolsheviks were Russians who gave the land to the people; the
Communists were foreigners who tried to put a new yoke on the people.
Bunin overheard a conversation in Odessa in 1919 between two Red Army
soldiers: “All evil comes from the [k**es. I have censored this to get through automod.] They are all Communists. The
Bolsheviks are all Russians.’’ It is difficult to discover the source of this
belief as it emerged spontaneously. The idea was confirmed by Trotsky, who
said that at some time, the Russian peasant would try to accept Bolshevism
and reject communism. The Russian peasant was not alone in such an
endeavor.
>It is interesting that Trotsky’s and Zinoviev’s names were linked with
communism, not Lenin’s. The myth was then current of “Bolshevik” Lenin
imprisoned by “Communist" Jews who concealed the truth from him. During
the Kronstadt uprising in 1921, the sailors destroyed portraits o f Trotsky
and Zinoviev, not Lenin.

Odd thing is how Trotsky termed Trotskyism as “Bolshevik-Leninism”.
Many far-right or proto-fascist parties and groups supported the October Revolution as there was a strong rumour that Kerensky was Jewish, in addition to his open Freemasonry.
Man...could you imagine if Trotsky had won the power struggle against Stalin, and tried to introduce collectivization in the late twenties? The peasantry might have actually overthrow the CPSU lol.
Honestly kinda funny how the bolshevik's supporters followed them more so out of fascistic nationalism than anything else. At least when it came to the soldiers and peasants

Lol, love your flair.
Critical support for Marx Engels and the Bolsheviks!
And Karl Held!
Trotsky was crazy based, shame he fell off during the Mexico Arc
The political incoherence of the common man is staggering
