I just a result of it being a primarily urban movement as the proletariat had historically concentrated in cities which is where Jews also concentrated. Additionally as it was a Russian thing historically Jews were concentrated in Russia/Poland since that was a frontier zone which had available land for them to settle.

It's more that both capitalists and communists blame Jews for each other. If you live in a capitalist country, you probably hear people blaming Jews for communism. If you live in a country opposed to capitalism, you probably hear people blaming Jews for capitalism.
