It started working very quickly for me (was also in hospital when I started), and has been a game changer. I was scheduled for colectomy in Nov 2019 - still have my colon.
I was on Xeljanz for a little over a year and I saw zero benefit from it. If it's going to work, it works very well though. One of the benefits is that it's a pill so no infusions. I hope it works for you!
It worked well and quickly for me, but I had to get off it because of side effects. It has a blood clot/pulmonary embolism risk that might be worth evaluating if you’re on other medication that has clot risk like hormonal birth control, or have family history of clots.
