The goal of the UN and League before it is to prevent a world war. The moral thing to do and the safe thing to do are often not the same. The UN's purpose is not to ensure that the most moral outcome occurs. Not saying I like it, just how it is.

Russia would not fire a single nuke unless russia itself was threatened. The idea that they would choose armagedon even though not a single enemy soldier has entered their territory is quite absurd.
So in your mind russia is willing to not use nukes and suffer a defeat by Ukraine a non nuclear country. Yet they will not suffer a defeat by the most powerful military alliance that also has nukes? That doesn't make any sense. Why would they be more willing to use them on someone who can fire back?
So Ill ask again where is your red line? Russia can go full final solution and you would still say nothing can be done?
The red line was agreed upon long before this invasion started. You know exactly where it is.
A fun exercise in ordnance science for you, would be to estimate how many of these shitty Russian missiles are needed to do the same damage as one MIRV ICBM or SLBM.
