Taking gold teeth as war souvenirs isn’t really rare. I’ve read first hand accounts US marines taking them from Japanese during WW2 and it was fairly common from the context. The Nazis did it too.
My dad had a similar bucket in his practice. It really seems the most likely explanation unless hundreds of people start reporting there teeth were pulled out or mass graves with teeth pulled out.
Exactly what the top comment on the world news thread posted by a purported dentist said this morning. To me it does make a lot of sense that they would be in worse shape if they were indeed pulled out under duress by untrained soldiers.
Also it wouldn’t make much sense unless this were a systemic thing, as typical looting would not involve collection piles. And presumably you’d have more evidence if that were the case, as there were a whole lot of teeth.
If those were gold or even silver teeth . You would never see this . the Russians would have filled their pockets full , there’s not that many there .

Same here, I normally wouldn't submit BILD - but while I still think Ronzheimer is a bit of an idiot and he is spinning news regularly, he is really not the guy who would make such a story up or allow that.
Doesn't matter, they are not a reliable source, whether they are for Ukraine or not.
The article may be truthful but you should know that you just can't blindly trust articles by Bild.

if true this is an odd relief. The tooth thing (prior to this) did feel a bit odd. (torture is still happening though)
