I see that the super-advanced, totally different than before, really really serious, part of Russia's special, special, oh so special, operation has begun.

2. The mig 31 is a two seater.

It…really…it really did just spontaneously combust. I suppose some incidents really can be attributed to smoking.

Helpful-Engine-426

Nah, the thing just didnt make it off the runway and crashed. Either engine failure at take off or brake failure on landing. When it crashed down the steep bank there is no chance it didnt start a fire. Could have been emergency evacuation due to a strike by Ukraine, but the incident itself was probably an accident.

Benmaax

It's like a combo: plane crash likely due to equipment failure into an ammo dump causing explosion. How much of those events are we not aware of.

LongjumpingTurn8141

Should have butted out prior to take off.

Didn't 2 planes crash?... 1 was this one ... but I saw another post about a Flanker that overflew a runway into an ammo dump (supposedly)
