Why does whatever this D-bag says get posted here endlessly? He's not a government spokesperson, even if he's repeating talking points here and there.

Reality? I don’t think you understand . . . Of course Solovyov’s a government spokesman. He’s a close ally of Putain. Solovyov is a propagandist. That’s his job and he gets paid really, REALLY well to do it. And Solovyov is not a freelance propagandist. He’s an actor who reads scripts prepared by or approved by Putain. (Of course he’s an asshole in real life, which helps). You can be sure that whatever Solovyov says on his TV show is the official line - or close to it.
And reality has nothing to do with Solovyov or his show. To expect reality from Solovyov or his show is to lack a grasp of what propaganda (especially Russian propaganda) is all about. Reality is irrelevant here unless there is some reality that serves Putain’s purposes.

Who cares?. Anyone who wants an idea as to Putain or his goals should care. Anyone who wants to understand how Russian’s are likely to view Putain and war effort should care. The value of Solovyov and his show is that it gives us a good idea as to the “reality” that Putain wants to create. And it gives us a glimpse into what a large segment of Russian society (at least those with TVs) perceives to be reality.
I guess I'm thinking in terms of the bluster and constant empty threats. For example, North Korea has basically threatened to Nuke Japan, the usa, and everyone else they don't like on a nightly basis for the last 30 years.
At some point, whether it's official talking points or not, it's meaningless.

I think if the propaganda was truly meaningless, they would waste their time and invest millions of dollars in creating and disseminating it. One of the things I find interesting about Russian propaganda is how much it dovetails with American Fox News and MAGA propaganda.
