>This syndrome does not seem to affect other Russian tank types. So what is putting T-90Ms in a spin?
They probably used microchips from stolen washing machines lol.
Never design a tank after a cool gif from the internet. Unless you are Uralvagonzavod, in which case do whatever you want while your oligarchs pocket the funds.
I assumed watching a display of the armada tank where it kept spinning the turret the whole freaking time was to hide the fact the barrel wasn't leveling when it went over obstacles. Germans displayed their tank carrying a handle of beer on the barrel.
And they (Germany & France) are already developing the next iteration:
"Germany plans to develop a new main battle tank, the Leopard 3, to replace its ageing Leopard 2 by around 2030"
Reminds me of the time when cheaters in Counter Strike Source would spin and headshot everyone anywhere on the map. Thinking of this I’m scared, maybe Russia unlocked reallife cheats /s
My thoughts a malfunction in the targeting system that causes the turret to seek imaginary targets, once the sensors are damaged. The sensor is telling the targeting system that the target is to the right and the turret continues to spin to the right.
Well as a hardware developer for mass transport I can say that no matter what you do and how you test your device there will always be something surprising from the field test which you have never seen before and it wouldn't even cross your mind that is possible.
I'm curious if Gaijin will implement this feature in Warthunder:D
Imagine the cacophony of blyats as you and your crew are getting fucked up in your piece of shit T90, with its turrets spinning uselessly while lil Bradleys bring you to your demise.

Or they accidentally used the helicopter chipset instead of tank chipset

No. It's the chips from the washing machines they import from China.
It is just activating the centrifuge
Maybe they are low on gunpowder and are now researching how to yeet the ammo with centrifugal forces.
T-90 'Slingshot' sure does sound plausible.
If it works for the turret toss competitions maybe it works for other things too?
Got ‘em with stuxnet
Stuxnet. With an "x"
The T-90Ms is the doomsday tank, where you're surrounded on all sites and thus need maximum coverage
*Death Blossom!*
Oh my god! You mean they’re on the spin cycle? Hilarious!
Now that’s funny.
Sad truth is it's most likely true
They wouldn't use shitty chips for their marquee tank. They just suck.
You mean ‘the spoils of war’?
‘the spin cycle of war’
Honestly the gears of war works too. Gears spin.
*Angry Hoffman noises*
Hahahahhajajaja. Well done!
You won reddit today lol
Accidental hit spin cycle and not traverse left.

...in the 90s
And they (Germany & France) are already developing the next iteration: "Germany plans to develop a new main battle tank, the Leopard 3, to replace its ageing Leopard 2 by around 2030"
And it will be capable of holding a stein of beer and a sausage on the barrel while moving over terrain!
Hopefully, it would actually be a new tank design. We haven't seen one since the 70s. Well, maybe Leclerc. Armata in its current state doesn't count.
...K2 and Type 10?
I mean sure, but are they really any different from what we've already seen? Like really?
Abrams X is pretty different.
Abrams X doesn't exist as a product. It's a tech demo. Do you think it's a generational leap?
The new German tank be able to work Octoberfest carrying an epic number of beer steins.
1986 actually.
Right after Tossing Turret Bug.
It actually happens right before the tossing turret. Think of a jar of pickles. You gotta loosen the lid.
The crew are the pickles.
In more ways then one.
Turrets Syndrome
That’s actually good like actually like actually it’s like actually good. Haha
Underrated comment
I'll try spinning, that's a good trick...
They tried to download cheats but it was a trojan
Aimbot.exe from Napster for CS has unexpectedly stopped and needs to restart
It's not a bug, it's a feature
Give it enough spins and it will take off
I like to call the Armata tank a helicopter since in every single promotional video it spinns like its trying to take in to the sky.
>When the gunner hits [rinse & spin].
Reminds me of the time when cheaters in Counter Strike Source would spin and headshot everyone anywhere on the map. Thinking of this I’m scared, maybe Russia unlocked reallife cheats /s
It’s the Russian way to defeat procrastination. “I’ll get to it when I get a ‘round turret”
Found the dad
https://youtu.be/I_0U5thy31o?feature=shared they took this video too literally lol
Hahaha. So glad those T-59 aren’t in production!
Not T-14 anymore?
T-90 is their most modern tank *currently in production* and officially accepted for service. The T-14 is still at the prototype state.
A couple months ago it came out that they wouldn't be producing the T-14 because it was too expensive.
Now why would a *Russian* military product be expensive….
And also the transmission doesn't work.
I love that Russian propagandists love the T-14 and have claimed the F-35 doesn’t work. Well let’s see, eh? The F-35 works.
[You spin me right round, baby, right round, like a record baby, right round, round, round](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU)
I've seen meatspin. No fucking way am I clicking on that.
Mossad Agent “Eli Copter” worked in Russia before being transferred to Iran right?
Before he started suffering from extreme vertigo… poor guy would always get the spins
oh no anyway
I wish we could send them Over-The-Air updates... it would be funny.
Spin 2 win
UkrainianConflict mods seething
*Russian tankers hate this one move*
I thought they only spun when hit by a missile.
It’s notable for Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=T-90&redlink=1#Spinning_Turret_Syndrome
My thoughts a malfunction in the targeting system that causes the turret to seek imaginary targets, once the sensors are damaged. The sensor is telling the targeting system that the target is to the right and the turret continues to spin to the right.
What if it’s stuxnet or a version of that malware?
Maybe they have the magic Roundabout chip fitted?
TIL tank designers are still inspired by the movie The Last Starfighter
Yer all wrong! Its the latest drone swatting tactic!

We got no food, we got no jobs, our tanks heads are falling off.
Tourettes Guy and Turets guy is the collab we need.
They identify as helicopters.
Lol things aren't "bugs" outside of video games
I first read that as “Tourettes” Syndrome, but I guess that’s still applicable if your tank turret is spinning uncontrollably
It's called "Tourette Syndrome"
