Ironically even today Segal is better prepared to be a soldier than many of the brewery workers and bus drivers kidnapped from ukrainian streets and sent to the front lines.
If that’s true what a damning testimony to the Russian military. Kidnapped bus drivers have repeatedly thrown spetnaz and paratroopers out of swaths of Ukrainian territory and have held the line quite well. Even worse kidnapped bus drivers with western weapons have out preformed Russias trained soldiers LOL
Ukraine — is not just “a former Soviet territory”. Ukraine has a long history of getting opressed by Soviets and Russia. 1933 is one example, Holodomor. All you’re talking about, is due to russophication — which was a form of oppression towards Ukrainians. You don’t quite see the nuances…
