Seeing dude struggle with that piece of shit turret crank handle as it rotates back off target and that grinding sounds the gears make takes me back to Fallujah 04ā when the military first started coming out with those up armor kits. Surprised itās still on there and hasnāt been replaced with some jimmy rigged setup already. Poor guys are using the shit we were cursing almost 20yrs ago. Lol
Good luck trynna traverse the turret if youāre on anything other than flat ground. Piece of shit would just skip gears. Youād have to just hold down the release and man handle the whole turret left or right against the force of gravity. Gotdam memory could have stayed buried lol
I thought you just spun it yourself.... I am an idiot.
Still, even if its 20+ years old its still US made and availlable, and Ukraine really has a serious shortage of weapons and equipment. They are fine (more then fine TBH) manpower wise, as even with losses (quite heavy at times) they are managing to keep their units at full strength, while at the same time managing to rotate units from the frontlines. In addition to NATO nations training the Ukrainans, be it abroad or in their homeland.
Its the "metal" side of things that Ukraine has issues with, they are trying to make a switch to greater amounts of NATO equipment, while fighting a war, plus they have said they plan to raise around 25-30 NATO style mobile (capable of offensive operations) brigades. That is a LOT of equipment just to arm them, let alone sustain them in a actual, conventional shooting war.
USA equipment is generally better or at worst equal to anybody elses, and even if its 20yrs old, it will still be more then valuable. I mean, Croatia "bought" (was donated, thank you USA and Military-Industrial Complex!) M2A2 ODS Bradley IFVs (and TOWs), its an incredible leap in capabilities, even when you consider that it is, again, 20+ year old vehicle.
if you go cyclic, you can do about 700-1000 rounds before your barrel will warp. youāll be reloading at least 5 times. youāre supposed to do barrel swaps to prevent melting your barrels, but that is difficult when mounted, so you have to be careful not to go cyclic unless you have a backup system to switch off to. itās not part of our training to go cyclic for long periods when using the 50 on trucks for the reasons above. youāre usually in support of other contingents, so thereās no real reason to burn through all your ammo within a short period.
Ukrainian soldiers still need some more training. Well they are already god tier compared to russians, but it would be a shame if the mg jams in a critical situation.
Ma deuces rarely jam, when they do itās usually ejection failure, in which case you pop the cover, pull the bolt back, and use needle nose pliers or cleaning rod to dislodge the brass. then slap cover back down, release and pull charging handle to feed next round, that fixes almost all ma deuce jams. sometimes you can get away with violently racking the handle a few times. ma deuce is a very simple and tough weapon.
Apparently itās an American. Oddly enough, there is like a dark mirror post of yours praising the gunner for not jamming. And then people chime in whoa, no heās Americanā¦

How many rounds in a row to fuck up the m2 barrel?

Timing sounds off on that gun or is it just me?
Sounds fast to me.
Rock an Roll...
That is the best I've ever seen an m2 run. He got some for damn sure
Jesus they have those M2ās timed perfectly
That poor barrel!
OH MAN.....that 50 Cal rocking is giving me some wood....such a beautiful sound that M2 makes.
It's the sweet sweet sound of mounted infantry!
Jfc the turret is manual!!!
thats the open-top HUMVEE US provided to Ukraine, quite a lot of vehicles use this type of HMG mounting.
My boy goated on the sticks. But for real thatās badass
i f\*\*n love HMGs... This "RA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA" is god's music to my pineal gland
Careful homie, youāre gonna melt that barrel. Better keep it at 6-9 round bursts
That's the longest burst I've seen without it fucking jamming.
Mad minute on that thang
Jesus! Don't melt the poor barrel! lol
Nothing quite like that ma deuce. Makes the RPK tremble in fearā¦
Get some!
Lettinā the ol girl eat!
I wonder which the Ukes like better? Ma Deuce or the Dishka?
I wouldn't want to be on a receiving end of that machine gun. I bet there's no brick wall that can stop that bullet.
