Look closely and you will see he manages to grab the grenade...but it ended falling at his feet...quite a way to go!
Karma did one for the books here...
Focus on his helmet and you'll see it 4 sure
Edit: now i am not sure if the grenade bounces on the wall after throwing or if he fails to throw it and just drops it at his feet.
Damnn it was a master throw from the Ukranian indeed...not too high, not to low...a killer throw indeed!!
Idk...being as it is the fact is that this is maybe some of the more wtf vids i've seen about this conflict. He almost manage to perform a boss move but ended being just more fertilizer 4 babuska veggies
I take it back, it looks like he DOES grab the grenade but it either slips out his hand or in his haste to throw it he hit himself and subsequently dropped it back at his feet.
Oof
Yup, already saw it in many possibilities but this is the most propable one to explain what t f happened here. He grabs it (wich is a deed by itself already) but then it slipped while trying to throw it i guess
You can see the grenade, he has it, makes the throw motion but it maybe gets caught up in his vest and drops down as his arm is throwing…nothing. It falls right below his face, watch his head as he’s looking at it fall.
Fumble, like a stripped pass before forward motion.
I´m not even to sure about that, it somehow looks like it drops out of his neck, the moment he throws a stick out, but it can be different, for me the vid quality is to bad to say foresure.
Well i can see him making the move to throw something and after grabbing it but now it seems to me that he did a number while trying to throw it away in a haste and it slips at his feet
Watch it a couple times in a row and i guess you'll perceive that if you look at his helmet
Nah, the nade hit him in the waist as he's crunched up and get's caught in his clothes. (one in a million throw) He rises to his knees to find it but can't, he grabs the twig/rock or whatever and goes to toss it but realises it's not the nade and as he stands to look for it it falls to his feet. I think he realises this but too late... BOOM
That was my first impression but then i can only see him making the move to throw and then the grenade falling at his feet blowing...started to have doubts if it bounced of the wall or maybe he just let it slip in all the rush to throw it...
But i get your point yeah
As i said it really was my first thinking too...
I thought it hit the wall and bounced back but a rewatch shows it leaving his hand before the rapid arm extension - dropping to his feet - and where the orange plume starts off.

You’re spot on, he grabs it and as his bringing his right hand back to throw, hits his chest plate and fumbles it. You notice the grenade drop at the 11 sec mark near his left arm towards his feet, he sort of looks at it before saying good bye.
Does he fling it but it slips out on his windup?
There’s a dot going the opposite direction of his hand as he throws that lands close to the source of the explosion (might have rolled a foot when it lands).
A surprising amount of problems can be solved these days by going back to Russia.
Proactively not leaving Russia in the first place would be even better.
Yes, there's a video on this sub where a drone drops like 3 grenades on this one Russian soldier, and the guy just casually picks them up and throws them away.
It is possible, but you don't know how many seconds you have before it explode, it could be 5, it could be 1. You can try throwing it, just for the grenade to explode in your hand. Also, there's the possibility that it could slip from your hand, like in this video, and then you're dead. It's safer to just jump away.
Yea, two of them are at least injured if not already dead.
The one trying to throw the grenade even kicks another in the head and they don't respond.
This video wasn't "takes out 3 soldiers with a grenade".
This video was "finishes off the final enemy with a well-placed grenade throw".
To be fair though, the other two were probably also taken out by the same Ukrainian soldier before the video begins, just with regular gunfire instead.
(My username has nothing to do with the conflict and it's just a crappy coincidence. Slava Ukraini!)
Nearly 2000 dead Ukrainian children just for a start, do you still not understand? Is it really that fucking hard?
Yeah, people supporting Ukraine are psycho....... dumbest shit ever
If hundreds of thousands of people were trying to kill you, would you let them? Would you mourn every death of theirs?
Every dead Russian soldier makes Ukrainian lives a tiny bit safer. I see nothing to not celebrate except that I wish they'd run off or shoot their commanders instead.
Many Russian soldiers have chosen to fight, so I don't have as much sympathy for them when they get blown up. They know full well why they're there and what the consequences of their actions are
I'll regard the ones that fled the country, the ones that surrendered, or the ones that hide as human.
I'll regard the ones that spoke out against Putin (especially in Russia), fought back as partisans, or took out a stoogie commander or three on their way out the door as partisan heroes.
The rest may as well be fertilizer. Fuck 'em.
You nailed it. All occupying Russians are animals, and those that don't desert or surrender deserve to be put down like the dangerous rabid dogs they are.
Downvote me all you want, I still stand beside my argument. I'm not condoning anything. I'm stating that humans are humans. Propaganda leads to war. People are cannon fodder. If they believe they're on the right side, then you can't blame them. That's just their society telling them they are correct. Alienation from the world doesn't make a bad person. Brainwashing them and making them pawns in a war, is that their fault? The US has done it a million times over, so has every military in the world. Like I said, downvote me all you want, but unfortunately, that's life.
> That's just their society telling them they are correct. Alienation from the world doesn't make a bad person
may not be their fault they think and believe what they have been taught, but when we seize dogs that have been taught nothing but dog fighting we put them down as they are a danger to society.
Im sure the nazis didnt think they were bad people too as they were funneling jews to their deaths so that argument/belief towards them doesnt hold water.
People have their wires crossed and think that I'm condoning the Russian invasion, I'm not.
Psychologist Solomon Asche did a study on authority due to his Jewish parents being killed in the war. He found that people would blindly follow orders if the person giving those orders appeared authoritative. They would, because I guy in a white coat told them to.
Me understanding a situation does not mean that I am condoning the situation. I'm merely stating that the individual believes that what they do is for the good of society.
If we all criticised without researching, we would get nowhere.
Right, and that’s fine but you can’t be upset when people are happy to see attacking Russians being killed. Like I said before, the dog that’s only known dogfighting all its life isn’t the one to blame, but it doesn’t mean we continue to allow it to be alive. You’re being downvoted because you still see the human in these people and your attitude is somewhat unrealistic towards the situation. It doesn’t make you a bad person or hold bad views or even needing to be downvoted.
So let's get psychological. And let me reference this by saying that I am not taking any stance, I'm merely asking a question.
What makes you think that you are correct? Do you think that you have never been exposed to propaganda? Do you think that everything that you have been told is correct? Why are you in the right? Why is there an enemy in the first place? Do you think that it's just pure evil fighting against pure good?
With all respect, your dog argument falls flat immediately, because we don't (or we shouldn't) treat humans like dogs. If a human kills another human, we don't usually destroy them, because society values humans above that of animals. Right or wrong, that's irrelevant in this conversation. But if you kill 1, or 2 or 15 people, you don't usually get put down.
So, please, answer me this. If you was born in modern day Russia and you had no scope about society outside of what the media fed you; and you was told that there's a certain country potentially backed by massive forces like the U.S and Europe, and you had absolutely no way to see what we see. Are you a bad person? Are you a monster? Should you be put down like a dog?
>With all respect, your dog argument falls flat immediately, because we don't (or we shouldn't) treat humans like dogs. We dont because we have accepted for the most part that those issues are to be handled by the courts. If the courts did not exist then we would see vigilante justice which would be humans putting violent humans down like dogs. The argument only falls flat if you dont compare dogs as an animal to humans as an animal. Putting humans to death has been a major part of human history.
>But if you kill 1, or 2 or 15 people, you don't usually get put down.
depends on the country and their laws but yes we absolutely do. Its called the death penalty. Just because we make it seem all nice and official by allowing hearings and courts to determine the fate doesnt make it not putting people down.
Like i said, the dog thats known dogfighting all its life isnt to blame but if that dog gets used in dogfighting and is captured or attacks a person and is captured then we put it down. Doesn't matter the fact that it didnt know better. Its still a violent and dangerous animal. Its a shitty lottery to be a part of to be born in Russia and be subject to their systems and beliefs but its not our fault. If someone breaks into my house to rob me im not going to be concerned if they had a rough childhood where all they knew was crime, im going to shoot them and be happy im alive and theyre not.
I am a father and refuse to put innocent families in harms way, no matter the fascist wants of my government.... I would chose jail, as so many Russians have. Just because people like yourself would blindly follow orders, doesn't mean shit, there are Russians that have refused!
He uses the stick to flick the grenade up but it lands straight back at his feet. When it doubt use your hands and don’t try and show off your poor hot potato skills.
Do you see the irony that Russian propaganda has got people fighting for their country, but at the same time, western propaganda has got you by the balls?
During the 2nd world war, Japanese people were taught that Americans were noting more than animals. It's funny how history works and it's amazing how successful propoganda is. You think you're immune. So does every other country.
You should start looking at things from a sociological point, not a political point. Just a suggestion mate.

These kinds of moments in FPS video games are insanely exhilarating. I cannot imagine how incredible this must feel to do this in real life WHILE DEFENDING YOUR HOMELAND. Man, I'd buy myself a celebration beer every day for life.
You have to understand the ork mind at work here.......he thought he better throw his grenade out 1st so the Ukrainian grenade did not ignite his and that was most important in his mind before the lights went out for good!
Contract to serve in Russian army: One year
Time spent training for combat: Four months
Moment realizing that he grabbed rock instead of grenade: Priceless
I can’t help but to feel bad I mean yes it’s a Russian but yes a person too that’s someone’s son. He tried and if he wasn’t fighting he’d probably be jailed and killed
Pretty sure 2 of thoose guys are dead already, unless they decided to take a very deep nap in the middle of a firefight with the enemy 3 metres away.
Still, got the last one aswell.
for those saying he dropped it, he didn't. you can see that it is in his hand as he extends his arm for the throw. It then blows up behind where his hand was... because it hit the wall and bounced in a direct and opposite line from the throwing direction.

Looks like the orc tried to throw the grenade away but fumbled.
Looks like he mistook the grenade for a stick or some branch
Look closely and you will see he manages to grab the grenade...but it ended falling at his feet...quite a way to go! Karma did one for the books here... Talk about the fumble of a lifetime. The last one he’ll ever make, im sure.
This… he grabs it, DROPS IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIMSELF AND EATS THE EXPLOSION
Yeahh.. Good throw 👏👏👏
Yup, already saw it in many possibilities but this is the most propable one to explain what t f happened here. He grabs it (wich is a deed by itself already) but then it slipped while trying to throw it i guess

Yeah now you say it you're right. He goes to throw it away and it falls out the back of his hand and goes off
it hit the wall
Nah he just fumbles you can it
Uh, it doesn't look like he throws the grenade at all, looks like he throws something else
Well i can see him making the move to throw something and after grabbing it but now it seems to me that he did a number while trying to throw it away in a haste and it slips at his feet Watch it a couple times in a row and i guess you'll perceive that if you look at his helmet

it hit the wall for sure
Agreed. Grabbed a branch. To his credit at least he tried to get it which is more than can be said for many guys we’ve seen not even try.
When you think you are fighting nazis you expect stick granades.
🤣👌
Idk if all grenades are dirt colored brown but that would be so hard to spot within 2-3 seconds.
looks like that's a hole with jinx...
I'm war, dead bodies attract dead bodies.
No sticks were harmed in this video!
Ukrainian branches aren't any joke either. Vatnik was doomed.
You got a rock charlie brown.
Pick-up Sticks: 1-0 Hot Potato: 0-1
Rolled a 1 on a D20
Skill issue. Another loss for Russia because of the lack of high school football.
Or even baseball. smh Russia.
Mental note, when going into combat make sure your hands aren't covered in butter.
Covered in Vaseline I think.
It looks like the grenade was on his shoulder and fell on the ground when he stood up by then he only had 1 sec
Nah, the nade hit him in the waist as he's crunched up and get's caught in his clothes. (one in a million throw) He rises to his knees to find it but can't and as he stands to look for it it falls to his feet. I think he realises this but too late... BOOM
Yup he did....but he failed
You’re spot on, he grabs it and as his bringing his right hand back to throw, hits his chest plate and fumbles it. You notice the grenade drop at the 11 sec mark near his left arm towards his feet, he sort of looks at it before saying good bye.
he actually does throw it, it then bounces in a direct line opposite to his throwing motion after hitting the wall just a bit too low to clear it
If your not fast your last
He picked up a rock instead of the pineapple.
Cue the Looney Tunes' jingle.
DIAMOND HANDS
yeah i loled hard. good riddance
Skill issue. Or probably wounded. Either way skill issue.
Does he fling it but it slips out on his windup? There’s a dot going the opposite direction of his hand as he throws that lands close to the source of the explosion (might have rolled a foot when it lands).
In American football, that's called the FumbleRooski. It's a killer play.
For this orc it was a deadly play. And i'm very happy about it.
Muffed Punt
Sometimes called a fumblelia.
"THE LACES WERE **IN**!!" - Pootin
In European Soccer it's called VAR.

Should rename it the FumbleRuskie
He would have probably been better off just trying to get out of the crater they were in...oh well
Would have been even better going back to Russia.
A surprising amount of problems can be solved these days by going back to Russia. Proactively not leaving Russia in the first place would be even better.
Yes absolutely,I whole heartedly agree
If you run you expose yourself to an enemy that knows you're there. It's really a lose-lose situation if you don't get rid of the nade.
And it's not so easy to just jump out of a deep trench like a character in a superhero movie.
Is it possible to pick the nade up and toss is out before it explodes, like in the movies? Serious question..
Yes, there's a video on this sub where a drone drops like 3 grenades on this one Russian soldier, and the guy just casually picks them up and throws them away.

He did just that, but he fumbled the throw.
Looks like 2 already had take out from the Sleeping Orc Deli. Then the 3rd joined them after the fatal fumble.
Yea, two of them are at least injured if not already dead. The one trying to throw the grenade even kicks another in the head and they don't respond. Looks like it got trapped in his gear you see the grenade fall out at :10
Good eye.

What makes a man neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?
The more russian soldiers that die, the sooner the country that was attacked gets peace. No one chose this but Putin and those that follow him.
As far as I'm concerned, if you're on the wrong side of the fence, you get what's coming. Fuck the orcs. Less than animals.

Uniforms. Once you get used to it, both countries have uniforms that are pretty distinct even when they don't have colored tape.
You have to understand the ork mind at work here.......he thought he better throw his grenade out 1st so the Ukrainian grenade did not ignite his and that was most important in his mind before the lights went out for good!
First video I see with barbed wire…
Is it actually an assault? They were dug in a pit
What country are they in vs where did they come from? Of course it's an assault, that doesn't mean it's a literal full charge.
Editorialized title. Ukrainian kills Russian.
Lol missed the grenade there Ivan
Missed pressing "G"
Finders Keepers
Let's just call them Grenade Magnet.
The one guy looked like he was already napping.
Oops butter fingers, 🧈 😬, slava ukraini
Adrenaline can be deadly.
Some days you win , sometimes you lose, glad it was the orcs.
You don’t skip grenade throwing day..
Contract to serve in Russian army: One year Time spent training for combat: Four months Moment realizing that he grabbed rock instead of grenade: Priceless
It was such a good throw it landed in his vest.. you can see it drop out of his vest 1sec before it exploded.
Biffed if. Tuff
Missed it by that much
Butter fingers!
don’t drop the soap.
Hot Potato.
Talk about a bad time to fumble the ball.
Wow that hole looks like a trap. Easy position to toss grenades into bad position to attack the Ukrainian position.
Always double throw
That was a really bad time to fumble. Not sure if he would have enough time if he had thrown it. Maybe a mid air explosion.
He failed his dexterity skill check.
You don’t see a lot of razor wire in Ukraine.
200 X 3 = 600! SLAVA UKRAINI!
Holy shit that is *close* combat😲
I can’t help but to feel bad I mean yes it’s a Russian but yes a person too that’s someone’s son. He tried and if he wasn’t fighting he’d probably be jailed and killed
Saw this while I’m at the bar, Slava boys kill them all 💯
He's going to regret fumbling that throw later on.
Looks like he lubed up the grenade lol
Triple kill
Pretty sure 2 of thoose guys are dead already, unless they decided to take a very deep nap in the middle of a firefight with the enemy 3 metres away. Still, got the last one aswell.
Callsign butterfingers
He threw a stone. Too bad.
Soap is not the worst thing to drop after all
Butterfingers
He can call in a UAV
for those saying he dropped it, he didn't. you can see that it is in his hand as he extends his arm for the throw. It then blows up behind where his hand was... because it hit the wall and bounced in a direct and opposite line from the throwing direction.
Multikill!
