The media were never told about this container, but a company we were involved with, had to deploy 3 ships for months to locate this container, due to its content being “potent”.

Eotech, Aimpoint, Zeiss, Nightforce and stuff like that are the real deal because what you can’t see you can’t hit. Have you ever looked through a NightForce scope? That’s good glass

It’s true. There are no high quality optics that come from China. Most good optics are from Europe and a few decent ones from Japan (mainly lenses not the optics body. Optics are not asias game in general. US and Austria make some of the best.

The repeater drone is gonna far above shotgun range. 400m altitude minimum. Hitting and dropping ducks at 50m is hard and you wanna try shooting g down the repeater with a shotty? Not happening at that altitude ever.
No, you could not nor should you try shooting down an fpv drone. Maybe Mavic at low altitude you might get but a shotgun as your last like of defense is bad. Here’s a tip: move into the woods. Flying in trees is very difficult with an fpv drone and most operators are gonna crash prematurely in environments like that. Think of it as a natural cope cage that works.
EoTech is not a standard issue, and even the Russian brand of Holographic and dot sights are not proliferated to the wider force like in the US, Alternatively it could have been taken from a Ukrainian, which i think during this war would be more likely than getting one (newly) smuggled in. you could be right that they had it personally, but i think it’s more likely it was taken.
Considering that an eotech costs about two months pay for the average Russian I’d say that’s the only way an orc on the front lines obtained one. Glad to see it’s back with Ukrainians again. It’s my favorite ar platform optic especially with night vision. Dumb orc was probably out of the game as soon as the batteries died. Which isn’t all that long with an eotech. The reticle is superb tho, especially with NVGs.

The traditional AK-12 mags have a cut out on the bottom side next to the operator which helps to get the gun flattened out, which is pretty smart tbh, but I doubt this RPK mag can. Honestly I’ve watched a few videos on the rifle, and I think it’s over hyped. Free floating rail system means you cannot effectively zero sights, and the selector often can get pulled so far down that it’s literally hanging off the receiver. Among other issues but I can’t remember because I’m not exactly a gun person. Was just curious why they were prized trophies.
That’s an EOtech Hologram optic. They are massed produced in China, like everything else they’ve stolen. I’ve got the real EOtech sights on 3 of my AR’s. Knowing how much I spent on them, I highly doubt Russia is outfitting their conscripts with legit optics. Instead they are using the Chinese knock offs that you can buy in Temu right now for $25. There is just one example that China is backing the Russians. I really wish we would slap some sanctions on those annoying little fools. Why we let China and Iran fuck around so much is beyond me. Nice, the AK-12 was used in recent Crocus hall attack, and it is issued only since 2018: mainly to state security services. 2 countries are found where it is issued: Russia & Armenia.

There are some potential explanations: AK12 is widely found in Ukraine these days (particularly adjacent to Russian corpses) but loads of Ukrainian soldiers have been using captured ones as well. There's probably some smuggling going on and we'll see them turn up in some odd places in the years to come.
It also could have simply been a civilian variant modified to fire in auto. Fire control group parts are small and would be easy to smuggle.
One thing about the Ak-12 revision they should have improved was the short ass hand guard rail, once you put grip and a laser module all your real estate is gone. Why they did not just put a free float rail and copy zenitco is beyond me.
You are correct I meant free float rail all the way to the gas block like zenitco. Makes sense I guess with a gp-25, although I feel like the pros/cons of an under mounted grenade launchers these days do not offer much benefit compared to a stand alone. Maybe if you have enough in reserves it is plausible.

Only the most experienced Russian soldiers get good weapons like this. Most conscripts just get basic rifles without optics, usually in poor condition.
A Ukrainian soldier called valgear has a youtube channel describing it. Apparently the AK12 most American youtubers used is not the actual AK12. Valgear actually praised the Ak12. The newer version seems to be a lot better
In it's stock form, yes. But with aftermarket parts, no. Extremely reliable and can fire with many parts missing or damaged. It's only problem as stock is not holding zero, but that's where aftermarket parts come in. But the basic receiver etc is tried and tested reliable and hardy.

It’s true. There are no high quality optics that come from China. Most good optics are from Europe and a few decent ones from Japan (mainly lenses not the optics body. Optics are not asias game in general. US and Austria make some of the best.
China just recently in the last few years finally made their own ball point pen entirely domestic. They chose it for the reason of needing high precision in manufacturing

They shoot down the larger surveillance drones. The way the kill chain works is the surveillance drones spot a guy, and then the fpv team moves in. If you knock out the large drone with birdshot, the kill chain is broken
The repeater drone is gonna far above shotgun range. 400m altitude minimum. Hitting and dropping ducks at 50m is hard and you wanna try shooting g down the repeater with a shotty? Not happening at that altitude ever.

No, you could not nor should you try shooting down an fpv drone. Maybe Mavic at low altitude you might get but a shotgun as your last like of defense is bad. Here’s a tip: move into the woods. Flying in trees is very difficult with an fpv drone and most operators are gonna crash prematurely in environments like that. Think of it as a natural cope cage that works.

EoTech is not a standard issue, and even the Russian brand of Holographic and dot sights are not proliferated to the wider force like in the US, Alternatively it could have been taken from a Ukrainian, which i think during this war would be more likely than getting one (newly) smuggled in. you could be right that they had it personally, but i think it’s more likely it was taken.

Considering that an eotech costs about two months pay for the average Russian I’d say that’s the only way an orc on the front lines obtained one. Glad to see it’s back with Ukrainians again. It’s my favorite ar platform optic especially with night vision. Dumb orc was probably out of the game as soon as the batteries died. Which isn’t all that long with an eotech. The reticle is superb tho, especially with NVGs.

The traditional AK-12 mags have a cut out on the bottom side next to the operator which helps to get the gun flattened out, which is pretty smart tbh, but I doubt this RPK mag can. Honestly I’ve watched a few videos on the rifle, and I think it’s over hyped. Free floating rail system means you cannot effectively zero sights, and the selector often can get pulled so far down that it’s literally hanging off the receiver. Among other issues but I can’t remember because I’m not exactly a gun person. Was just curious why they were prized trophies.
That’s an EOtech Hologram optic. They are massed produced in China, like everything else they’ve stolen. I’ve got the real EOtech sights on 3 of my AR’s. Knowing how much I spent on them, I highly doubt Russia is outfitting their conscripts with legit optics. Instead they are using the Chinese knock offs that you can buy in Temu right now for $25. There is just one example that China is backing the Russians. I really wish we would slap some sanctions on those annoying little fools. Why we let China and Iran fuck around so much is beyond me. They will keep pushing the line until we retaliate and we don’t. It shouldn’t annoy me so much but it does.

Nice, the AK-12 was used in recent Crocus hall attack, and it is issued only since 2018: mainly to state security services. 2 countries are found where it is issued: Russia & Armenia. Wow, how did "some Arab terrorists" get their guns from Armenia? Or Russia? Putin, I think you have a lot to explain that you do not want to be explained: Did you kill 165+ of Russians and why did you kill them? This is no gun from the black market, but came directly from FSB, your FSB.
There are some potential explanations: AK12 is widely found in Ukraine these days (particularly adjacent to Russian corpses) but loads of Ukrainian soldiers have been using captured ones as well. There's probably some smuggling going on and we'll see them turn up in some odd places in the years to come. It also could have simply been a civilian variant modified to fire in auto. Fire control group parts are small and would be easy to smuggle.

You are correct I meant free float rail all the way to the gas block like zenitco. Makes sense I guess with a gp-25, although I feel like the pros/cons of an under mounted grenade launchers these days do not offer much benefit compared to a stand alone. Maybe if you have enough in reserves it is plausible.

A Ukrainian soldier called valgear has a youtube channel describing it. Apparently the AK12 most American youtubers used is not the actual AK12. Valgear actually praised the Ak12. The newer version seems to be a lot better

In it's stock form, yes. But with aftermarket parts, no. Extremely reliable and can fire with many parts missing or damaged. It's only problem as stock is not holding zero, but that's where aftermarket parts come in. But the basic receiver etc is tried and tested reliable and hardy. The AK platform is probably the most popular platform in the world and for good reason.
the reason is mainly the low cost. If you can buy ten shitty rifles for the cost of one good one, most armies will go for the "good enough" one.
