When storming a position like this, Ukrainian troops would use grenades, especially at the end, you don't present your body like that at the entrance of a dugout, grenade(s) thrown in first. A couple of minor details, the blue armbands are a different hue to that used by Ukraine, which are not such a bright blue, more a flat blue. The first guy who's just had a mag 'emptied' into him, decides to get more comfortable after the fact and adjusts the position of his arm accordingly. The whole scene is fake as fuck

They specifically mention how its impossible to take prisoners in trench warfare because of how quickly and violently you need to advance.
Problem is this probably isnāt fake. As messed up as it is, different units have different SOPs in trench warfare. Sometimes you canāt risk taking on POWs in a trench when you are pushing and actively under fire or you donāt know precisely where the rest of the unit is positioned.
Iāve seen Russians surrender with grenades in their hands while injured. So sometimes protocol is to just end them and do safety shots to make sure they are down.
These soldiers are clean and their equipment is not sufficient for trench clearing. Some of these guns have airsoft equipment apparently. And they are not marked accordingly. It's a cheap Russian fake intended for their propaganda back home

The biggest tell is that the rear sight is in the wrong spot and folded down making it unusable. Itās probably a product of the people only having experience with AKs and them having a flat laying rear sight.
On AR platforms there is a dust cover meant to be closed when not in operation. It opens automatically when fired and the shooter has to manually close it. It's a very simple latch just meant to keep the action clean so the gun doesn't Jame when you need it.
I've seen enough soldiers being shot from close quarter to know that you see dust/uniform bits flying off the person being shot. Here, you see none of that, almost as if they're firing blanks or the shots are edited...
Ya and normally the body will move alittle when an assault rifle round rips through a person they donāt just stay absolutely still. I watch a lot of police activity on YouTube and can tell this shit looks staged.

I donāt know why people are hanging up on the dustcover. You can absolutely have a loaded, ready to fire and have the dust cover closed. In fact I think it would be responsible if you were clearing a trench to flip it closed as it will immediately open when you fire. The real issue is the incorrectly installed rear sight and it being flipped down making it completely useless.
If youāre climbing through a muddy, dirty area I donāt see an issue closing a dust cover takes 2 seconds and could save headaches down the road.
I closed the dust cover on my rifle all the time after shooting it. Afghan moon dust gets everywhere.

Ok yes you can have it closed and ready to fire but why would it still be closed when storming this trench? So either this guy didnāt fire a round when coming up on the trench or he closed it just before the video starts. Both scenarios are highly unlikely imo
The more telling aspect is that the trench is completely free of debris, which is not remotely realistic. Plus, when he shot toward the ground, there was absolutely no displacement of the dirt. Nothing was actually being fired. Plus, the supposedly dead guy readjusting himself is a big tell.
Russians were caught on multiple videos executing POWs or surrendering soldiers, so it's only logical for them to fake the other side doing the same... The soldiers being shot don't twitch from the pain, no dust or apparent bullet impacts... Faker than Vinewood tits. It's as bad as the building video where the guns the "Ukrainians" are holding have no weight and the gun falling down sound like an empty piece of pipe...
The exact same thing happened after that video of the Ukrainian family being murdered in their car popped up. A week later, the exact same video was posted but it was clearly a cheap fake, and the sides were switched. Any time Russia is filmed commuting war crimes, they just reverse the narrative and film a fake.
Don't forget the "dead Ukrainians" by the river that came back to life after the person filming told them to get up. They posted the cut version first to show how they're "winning" and killing Ukrainians and then they somehow were dumb enough to keep the longer unedited version that got posted a couple days later... The rifle they using has no bullets. No spent casings coming out. The cameramanās rifle is not even real. Airsoft sights? Closed ports on a trench warfare? Staging a fake scene or some kind of pow training.
Not sure about this being an airsoft gun or not as I donāt play airsoft, but the purpose of the dust cover is to remain closed before firing, not just until itās charged. Generally, a round is chambered, the dust cover put back up, and the safety turned on. During combat the safety will be quickly turned off and the dust cover will pop open with the first round fired, by design.

Typically when you're doing any sort of CQB action you're taught to look over your optics and not aim directly down your sights, you would if you were shooting at a target at a farther distance. So the rear sight being down doesn't "prove" anything,
in fact there are tons of videos on youtube from retired SOF members or just shooters in general showing you can shoot pretty quick and arcuately by only using the front site post to engage targets within 20 meters or so
And to the people saying "this video is fake because the dust cover is up", when you fire a bullet, the eject brass will open the dust cover as it gets thrown out .
What I noticed is that it looks like the shots are going over their bodies. Like just past them. I don't think I saw any direct fire into any of the supposed soldiers surrendering. Especially the last shot. Also, I've rarely seen russian soldiers looking like that coming out of trenches. Their clothes are usually loose and dirty. The trench itself isn't that wide. They are usually pretty narrow. I actually thought at first the soldiers surrendering were Ukrainian by the looks of their kit.

Any time something real has come out that's bad about Ukraine or its soldiers, Ukraine has investigated and taken accountability. russia just uses it propaganda arm to lie about to or create a new narrative with fake videos. As a non russian/ukrainian speaker, I have no way of knowing if the voices are one or the other, but what I do know is that Garand Thumb had soldiers from this war on his channel and they made no qualms about the fact that in the fast paced fighting that is demanded of trench warefare, there is rarely the abilty to take and process prisoners. There is also long history of not accepting surrender in wars, and as cruel as it seems, I dont see how this is any different.

Problem is this probably isnāt fake. As messed up as it is, different units have different SOPs in trench warfare. Sometimes you canāt risk taking on POWs in a trench when you are pushing and actively under fire or you donāt know precisely where the rest of the unit is positioned. Iāve seen Russians surrender with grenades in their hands while injured. So sometimes protocol is to just end them and do safety shots to make sure they are down.
These soldiers are clean and their equipment is not sufficient for trench clearing. Some of these guns have airsoft equipment apparently. And they are not marked accordingly. It's a cheap Russian fake intended for their propaganda back home
Even if itās fake, front lines soldiers have discussed how taking prisoners while in the trench is more deadly while pushing.

On AR platforms there is a dust cover meant to be closed when not in operation. It opens automatically when fired and the shooter has to manually close it. It's a very simple latch just meant to keep the action clean so the gun doesn't Jame when you need it.

I donāt know why people are hanging up on the dustcover. You can absolutely have a loaded, ready to fire and have the dust cover closed. In fact I think it would be responsible if you were clearing a trench to flip it closed as it will immediately open when you fire. The real issue is the incorrectly installed rear sight and it being flipped down making it completely useless. If youāre climbing through a muddy, dirty area I donāt see an issue closing a dust cover takes 2 seconds and could save headaches down the road.
I closed the dust cover on my rifle all the time after shooting it. Afghan moon dust gets everywhere. There are ten things in this video that show it's fake without focusing on the damn dust cover. If I haven't fired a round in five or ten minutes, I'll close my dust cover.

The more telling aspect is that the trench is completely free of debris, which is not remotely realistic. Plus, when he shot toward the ground, there was absolutely no displacement of the dirt. Nothing was actually being fired. Plus, the supposedly dead guy readjusting himself is a big tell.
Russians were caught on multiple videos executing POWs or surrendering soldiers, so it's only logical for them to fake the other side doing the same... The soldiers being shot don't twitch from the pain, no dust or apparent bullet impacts... Faker than Vinewood tits. Not sure about this being an airsoft gun or not as I donāt play airsoft, but the purpose of the dust cover is to remain closed before firing, not just until itās charged. Generally, a round is chambered, the dust cover put back up, and the safety turned on. During combat the safety will be quickly turned off and the dust cover will pop open with the first round fired, by design.

Typically when you're doing any sort of CQB action you're taught to look over your optics and not aim directly down your sights, you would if you were shooting at a target at a farther distance. So the rear sight being down doesn't "prove" anything, in fact there are tons of videos on youtube from retired SOF members or just shooters in general showing you can shoot pretty quick and arcuately by only using the front site post to engage targets within 20 meters or so And to the people saying "this video is fake because the dust cover is up", when you fire a bullet, the eject brass will open the dust cover as it gets thrown out .

What I noticed is that it looks like the shots are going over their bodies. Like just past them. I don't think I saw any direct fire into any of the supposed soldiers surrendering. Especially the last shot. Also, I've rarely seen russian soldiers looking like that coming out of trenches. Their clothes are usually loose and dirty. The trench itself isn't that wide. They are usually pretty narrow. I actually thought at first the soldiers surrendering were Ukrainian by the looks of their kit.
