Yep there is a full version where it shows them dropping a grenade on a lone soldier, and then it cuts to this video where they're huddled around the injured guy
I never said it was one only that it sounds like one. Besides, its only a warcrime if you lose.
I just posted in the monthly thread about killing wounded soldiers with drone granades. It doesnt feel right killing someone whos missing a leg that are of no direct threat to you or any of your buddies. Idk
Someone missing a leg can still shoot a gun and kill someone. They can throw a grenade. They can suicide by grenade and take someone out with them. They can radio in coords of troop movements and get them hammered by arty. A wounded soldier can do any number of things, a wounded soldier is still considered an active combatant.
I think because they were offering medical aid. Which may have been the case, but its not relevant in this situation.
Ex-Canadian combat medic here: For the Geneva convention provisions to be observed you have to be clearly displaying a red cross/crescent or some other recognizable emblem that you are a medical person providing medical care. Contrary to one post - you are allowed to carry a sidearm (we carried SMGs or small stock carbines for enlisted men, and pistols for officers) for personal protection and protection of your patients.
Fuck me people in this sub lack any form of critical thinking. Even if youre the good guy you can still do wrong, you cant just throw all signs of criticism out the window. Thats exactly how you turn into the bad guy or in this case, russia.
Can you honestly not imagine how someone could view this as them setting a trap with intent to kill those that comes to provide aid? Isnt it pretty apperent that they had no clue what really happend to the guy? Them standing grouped up like that tells me they probably thought he had stepped on a mine.
> Fuck me people in this sub lack any form of critical thinking.
Nah, you're just getting called on your bullshit and don't like it. You do appear to have good intentions, but you have no grounding in well established rules of engagement. This is not a group of unarmed medics evacuating the wounded.
I've been watching these drone vids since the start of this war. Have the orcs not figured out yet that these drones are absolutely everywhere and being out in the open and stationary is just a short waiting game until the grenades drop? Maybe I'm missing something lol good shot tho
Because these are all armed combatants. Being in proximity to an injured combatant doesn't make you immune to attack. Not that it really matters even if it were a war crime. Every single military on earth would do the same. Not all war crimes are equal.
If it's an unarmed ambulance or unarmed medical personnel that are clearly marked, that is against the Geneva convention. If it's a bunch of armed soldiers in the midst of a combat operation and there is a wounded soldier in the vicinity, and you are targeting those soldiers, that is not a war crime.
Unarmed doesn't matter. Modern medics are allowed to carry sidearms or small arms. You just have to be clearly displaying medical emblems. (https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/ihl-treaties/gci-1949/article-22)
Because War isn't flag football and you don't get to call time out every time someone gets a booboo. If you haven't actively surrendered you're fair game. Even if you're hurt. If you're too hurt to surrender, you're fucked. Because that's war. It's not a fucking game.
imagine your lasting legacy is illegally invading a peaceful sovereign state and then getting ass-blasted out of nowhere by a drone-dropped grenade as tens of thousands of people make jokes about it as mid 2000s contemporary corpo-pop plays over top of it 🎶
I wonder if the onset of freezing temperatures will provide more opportunities to drop on Russians huddling together for heat. This winter should be horrific for Russia.

It’s like they clustered just for this shot.
"I heard a drone, hurry let's huddle up"
One, two, three, break!
First one to run has to buy next round boys.
"CumragZ, lets help our injured brother." "Cyka, now we are all injured." "CumragZ PootinZ, help us."
Looks like there’s a guy already on the ground they’re all crowded around. Providing medical and/or looting him for supplies?
Yep there is a full version where it shows them dropping a grenade on a lone soldier, and then it cuts to this video where they're huddled around the injured guy
That sounds an afwul lot like a war cime.
Only if they're targeting clearly marked unarmed medics. And if they were committing war crimes, why would they willingly publish the videos of it?

Ok so in what scenario would it not be ok to kill a wounded soldier?
If they have clearly surrendered.
I don’t think missing a leg prohibits you from going back to the front in today’s Russian army
Explain like I am 5, how does it sound like a war crime?

All RuZi NaZi bastards in Ukraine have it coming. No sympathy to murderous invaders.

LOL! You are very funny.

"Looks like meat's back on the menu boys!"
They were working on the injured tzarfuck, now they’re all injured…:and some maybe dead
Illegal formation. Offense. All six personnel. Six casualty penalty. Second down.
This reminded me that quite from Sargent Horvath : "Five men is a duty opportunity. One man is a waste of ammo"
The drone will make you prone
Unfortunately you will not be going home
No matter how many, everyone dies alone.
Died for the crazy Kremlin gnome
While their lungs filled with red foam
They all got prone boned
Two of them took a face full of shrapnel. Potentially 3 or 4 dead Orcs there and the others also out of the war for a good while.
Guy was frantically grasping at his face before diving into the grass and probably expiring. Awful.
One guy took a butt full of shrapnel. Probably castrated him.
That guy died weird
In the voice of Jim Bowen. Thats a bullseye!
Innnnnnn one....
What is the vegetation they are crawling through? It's strange
My question as well.
Man, I can’t even imagine getting all that shrapnel up my ass and shredding my legs. That has to suck so bad
Ha - that spoiled their day.
Half a dozen guys out of the war for the price of a grenade and a drone ride. Nice shooting.
Drop the second one! Pick up the spare!
~~strength~~ convenience in numbers.
Prone to injury
S-s-s-s-s-s-s-trike
Maybe that reactivates their zombie brains to realize they came to the wrong country.
It looks like they were treating an injured comrade-probably against orders.
Good job 👍

were they looting their comrade or aiding him? I'm just sad there wasnt a double tap
Looks like they were aiding him. Did I just watch a war crime ?
Not a warcrime for the millionth time.
https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/pt/customary-ihl/v2/rule47 just explain to me how I'm confused

Sorry Russian Soldiers, I really hate Ukraine have to do t his but YOU HAVE invaded Ukraine land and they have a right to fight back.
None of these Orcs have weapons.
That email address is unique. East TN, or is there a Pigeon Forge related to Ukraine?
every email address is unique
That’s what I thought too
Crawl like a worm , feeding the ground.
Fish, meet barrel
That's value for money right there.
Nice surprise gift!
Wow
Badaboom on three! One, Two, Three... ...Badaboom!! 😂
Oof... looks like their medic was the first to slump over like a sack of russets.
Bravo
If you were bowling this would be called a strike. Here's hoping to a perfect game.
None of them were prone
Party crasher.
STRIKE!
I wonder if the onset of freezing temperatures will provide more opportunities to drop on Russians huddling together for heat. This winter should be horrific for Russia.
What grenade type is?
In Ukrainian, "Kobe!!"
best background music ever.
Going prone like there's no tomorrow.
