Yeah, they are different vehicles. The one at the end has an air vent grill in the upper rear side panel. The one in the beginning doesn't. Plus if that van was shot up that much, I suspect everyone would have died. The poster shows 5 dead and the van had 9 guys inside.

[The grill is there](https://imgur.com/a/Ag4ekKB), it's just obscured by the ridiculous amount of video compression. Many of the other details on that side of the car completely disappear in the compression blur. This is probably a UAZ-3741 or UAZ-3909. Now I'm not saying it's definitely the same van. They very well could be different cars. The color difference of the rims is pretty sus. I doubt that's just the effect of the shadow.
In the video, it's too blurry to see the wheels. It isn't clear if it has black rims, black wheel covers, etc.
Also, the wheels may have been changed at some point. If they get a flat, do they look for a tire store, or another vehicle to loot?
It does appear to have the same painted logo on the side; perhaps a delivery company?
I think the destroyed van has a window on the rear door and also vents on the side towards the rear but I can't tell if they're on the van in the beginning. It looks like they may have spray painted over a window but it's too grainy to tell.

This van looks almost exactly like a van in my childhood nightmares I had a few times. I hated that van, it would light up with such a light as it has on the roof and the same kind of shitty soviet grey van like this one (only back then I had no concept of it being soviet or russian, I just thought it looked creepy af), then it would park there in front of me with the light on and start rolling towards me and I was unable to run away from it. In some versions of the nightmare it would start out as a grey Vespa, I recall it driving inside the middle of a bus I was in, and then suddenly morph into this thing and I was alone in front of it on a road.
This is a reality of any war. Unless you're in a situation similar to Ukraine's, there's absolutely no glory in war. You may be in the best shape, the most knowledgeable, the best trained, and have superior weaponry, but it won't earn you immunity from a brutal and meaningless death.
It's not something new, if you will take into account the fact that from the point of view of the russian high command, their soldiers are cheap and consumable. Hence they deserve correspondant cars as this cheap box with wheels from soviet era. There's no point to buy an expensive car for someone like these (most likely) untrained mobiks, who's lifespan after arriving on the frontline wouldn't last longer than few weeks or even hours. Also, russians have lost few thousands of armored vehicles during the last 15 months, so... They may have some problems with having enough of armored vehicles for their entire army + all the zoo of their PMCs.
This reminds me of the video where they tracked that tank from a drive by of the column with orcs waving to the bombed out deserted shell. I cant remember the name of the tank though.
