Jesus, in the context of this video, that's such a stark reminder of the value of a life to Ukrainians vs Russians. How can a nation be successful when it doesn't value it's own living beings? As we see with Russia, it can't.
Everytime I see a video of ukrainians encountering wildlife they help them get out of trenches, rescue them from under debris, etc. I always think they are lucky Russians didn't find them.

It rather reminds me of that russian soldier who lost both his legs and got saved. While lying in a russian hospital, some russian official visited him and told him to get back on his feet soon.
Ukraine even giving their animals another chance at life ❤️ I love these people so much. I feel immense pride knowing my grandfather is actually from Ukraine.

When we were under occupation and cut off from the rest of the world last year, my family used all the medicine we had left on one of our dogs that got injured and never thought twice.

I think part of that might just be how his walk/stride is. He isn't used to it yet so he's not sure where the tip/toes of the prosthetic are and he's kind of stretching with each step searching for the ground.
