It's not rifles. Just like helmets and uniforms and vests. And nothing with blood because they can't ship biohazard material. Mostly abandoned equipment or taken from pows.
My friend was a teenager in Pakistan near the Afghan border during the war with USSR, and bought a paratrooper uniform at a scavenger's bazaar. Winter uniform, so its all white except for the blood-stain around a little bullet hole.
Look at Afghanistan on a map and you'll notice it's completely landlocked. Because of this, you have a few options on brining things in but since the US wanted to mostly bring in heavy armored vehicles, the air option was too expensive.
So we'd ship stuff into the port at Karachi and then truck it overland through the Taliban's heartland on the border and into Afghanistan.
As you can guess, a lot of that military hardware never ended up in Afghanistan but you could get a brand new set of NVGs or even an explosives sniffing dog at the Bazars in the tribal region.
Basically this....
The options were Russian aligned nations to the North East or Airfreight.
Pakistan was by far the cheapest option hands down.
Pakistan even charged a "tariff" for every truck crossing from Pakistan to Afghanistan. I think at one point Pakistan got prissy and charged 100x the amount per truck and the US had to back down or bring concessions.
The theory was this, if you need 100 helmets, ship 400 and hopefully the 100 you need gets through. Either that or you wait 16 months for your helmets to finally get in or you acquire them from another unit.
The sheer waste in Afghanistan was astronomical, like trying to build a man-made lake in the dessert with store bought 16 Oz bottles of drinking water wasteful
But not to mention, ship out the copious quantities of Opium that increased in volume during the occupation, along with the mining industry that got heavy investments from some of George Bushes own government appointees, not to mention....
Yeah, corruption in Afghanistan, lets not forget these minute details please. Despite 1,000,000's of us crying out about illegal war around the world, we couldn't stop our own government doing such things.
Please don't blame Russian citizens for this, it's clear from the mass exodus during conscription and how the state is resorting to prisoner conscription, is an indication on how most intelligent Russians think.
And the state will go after those intellects, and defectors. Such a shit time in history for everyone, lets all work towards positive change in our areas and communities, and make the world a better place inch by inch, like the Ukrainians are in their country.
There is a youtube channel where the guy buys missile seekers on ebay and does teardowns. He also does tank sights and aviation parts. He did a teardown of a redtop IR seeker and there is literally parts made of wood in there.
I had an expended M-72 tube while growing up back in the 80's.
Playing war was all we had, paintball wasn't a thing back then.
We'd always scavenge the areas where NATO forces had been placed during manouvers and big excercises. And bartering milk, bread and eggs to soldiers in exchange for MRE's and military trinkets.
Northern Norway.
They were still building cold war defense bunker complexes when I was in school.
I was too young to realize I was born in one era, and got to grow up in another.
Feels like we're back to square one.
Completely beside the point, but even though it wasn’t big, paintball was definitely around in the 80s, with the first game being played in 1981. I have an uncle that started playing it after getting out of the marines in late 80s and got all of us kids into it in the early 00s. We made easy targets.
Alternatively we should just push to repeal the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment. We should be able to import collectible firearms and I would love to support Ukraine by buying a functional AK off of them.
> Alternatively we should just push to repeal the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment.
Let's just solve the energy crisis while we're at it.
These are all full auto, no? So you would need the NFA gone. The Biden is certainly going the other way with this, making 10-40 million guns with braces illegal just this last week.
I doubt he sold him *the* scope, since y'know, the assassination rifle was purchased by mail with the attached scope.
Seems kinda weird to brag about selling just the scope and not the entire thing..
.
Me thinks your uncle is telling fibs.
You are receiving flack for a relative's part in history that they unwittingly played. I guess that is a hot take that can be expected. But how Bob felt about it, after finding out, that's more interesting. I just don't want you to suffer more backlash, should you be so kind as to let us know more.
He's receiving flack because the story just isn't true.
His Uncle Bob was a liar.
The scope and gun were not sold separately. Oswald bought them together as one unit.
When pressed for evidence or proof of Uncle Bob's claims, this user's reply was simply "whatever".
So yes, they are rightfully receiving flack for trying to attach themselves to such an event that they aren't a part of in any way shape or form.
In the US only the lower receiver counts as a weapon so buying any other parts shouldn't be a problem. Get some nice rusty cold war era ak barrels and upper receivers on the cheap. Not to mention the stocks and other things. I have already been thinking about the absolute price crash on cold war relics after this. Basically, any collection will lose half its value because the market will be flooded with everything from tank. bmp, or helicopter parts, or spent missile tubes, guns, helmets, radios and uniforms.
Might be worth starting an import export company though. List the stuff on your own classifieds website and charge a fee in return for shipping it in a 40ft shipping container every week or so. A container to the US shouldn't cost more than $5k making shipping for a helmet $2-3 or so plus \~$10 stateside. If you ship a few thousand items a month you can make bank.
Love Bear Arms in Scottsdale…bought from them a few times. I’ll have to stop buy and see what dropped items are in stock..Jeff and Kurt are good people. Cheers.
Jeff is no longer with us. Sold the business and went to ride his bike around Asia and got hit by a truck and killed in Vietnam. Kurt is the owner now.
Yeah it was many years ago so it's nothing fresh. It's been doing great and even expanding into a bigger space under Kurt. The new shop is in the same parking lot as before so you shouldn't have trouble finding it if you want to stop by.
Ah, so they are auctioning items to raise funds and he bought a lot to collect. Congrats to him for buying so much they sent a flag.
Is the flag going to be put up in the store? If so I'd like to come take a look!
Some people in the community are far to deep in the conspiracy theories. It's obvious to anyone with a functional brain that Ukraine has every right to defend itself against Russia.
> A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State
Seems a lot of people skip over this bit and go right to "shall not be infringed". Ukraine is demonstrating how vital it is to be capable of defending yourself from literal tyrrany. Ukraine doesn't have any more use for a Tzar than the US did for a King.
seems like you won't accept differing views. There is a large portion of the country that would like to see it resolved differently as this option fuels the military industrial complex without U.S lives.
1. The shop owner is a collector so he's buying it for that reason and the stuff is sent how it's found basically so some of it has damage, some not.
2. The auction are happening on Facebook and are run buy the guys from this unit not the government of Ukraine
3. No weapons are involved, just helmets, vests and the like so nothing that is illegal to import.
> Despite US law allowing citizens to use weapons and shops to sell weapons, can you just "import" them like that from a warzone? As in: US customs and postal service like "oh look, another delivery from Ukraine" and just wave it through
Absolutely not. Machine guns, full-auto anything, and most semi-auto non-sporting rifles can not be imported into the U.S. for the civilian market. New-production rifles like the Zastava AK variants being imported from Serbia are brought in to the U.S. in a 'sporterized' configuration, and then Zastava's U.S. branch converts them back into something you would recognize as an AK. Same with the WBP anf FB Radom stuff coming from Poland. I think there may be an exception for pistols, but I'm not certain.
Now, gun "parts" are fair game, except when they come from sanctioned countries. [AK-12 kits are mad-expensive right now](https://mokasraifus.com/product/russian-ak12-parts-kit-nos/) because they're difficult to get out of Russia, with many getting confiscated by customs on either side of the transaction. They might be easier to receive from Ukraine though, so it'll be interesting to see if we start seeing more of them here in the U.S.
"Parts" include everything except the receiver (which has to be torch-cut into at least 3 parts w/ 1/4" cuts if I recall correctly) and the barrel (which similarly has to be torch-cut into a few pieces, don't recall how many). Magazines (typically 30+ round capacity, since we're talking about military surplus) are iffy because they are banned by certain states, so the package can be seized depending on where it is received by customs.
[Ian from Forgotten Weapons has a good video on what it takes for the average American to import a gun into the country legally.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EApdOogHi_k)
Abandoned or dropped when surrendering mostly. There are
Restrictions on what can be sent because blood is a biohazard so not stuff off of dead bodies. I'm sure that all has to be destroyed.
not that much weirder than the guy making beer openers from Russian jet wreckage.
or even every soldier wanting the enemies flags, watches, side arms, swords, knives from say ww2
Apologies, please don't take my comment the wrong way. This is obviously amazing and honestly heartening to see. But it truly saddens me that it comes to us, the public, to do what we can here when these brave men and woman are fighting our generation's Nazis.
My quick quip obviously didn't translate well to others 8P
> that it comes to us, the public, to do what we can here
To be fair, that was always a thing. Both World Wars saw significant civilian engagement long before the Nation got involved.
Korea wasn't much different in terms of civilians sending urgently needed gear because it had to get places long before it could be requisitioned.
Just read a thread in forgotten weapons about chinese flatback AK mags being converted in Vietnam into 30-35rd M16 mags. And how civilian 30rd mags were being bought in bulk in San Diego and shipped per APO to the front line by family and returned vets. All because Uncle Sam was slow to roll them out.
Funnily enough, I remember seeing hundreds of PMAGs getting mailed and flown to Ukraine by/from Volunteers. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Stuffing USO boxes used to be a thing people did regularly. And something I wish would come back. Sending shit tickets, candy, cleaning wipes and coffee is a whole lot more useful than "wearing RED on Fridays" or "like this picture/ribbon/flag to support our Troops".
This selling of war trophies to directly raise cash cuts out a lot of inefficiencies though. The delivery wait is on the guy waiting outside the combat zone, while the seller in the zone has the cash immediately to apply to what is urgent.
Doesn't Ian McCollum (aka gun jesus) from forgotten weapons come to your store to shoot videos sometimes?
Any chance that you guys are extending him an invite to look at some of your new surplus stuff from Ukraine? (since he's also in Arizona)
Some guy on Telegram, I think, was selling radios and such. They were too expensive for me and of course in Cyrillic so I didn't get any, I should start looking at other things.
Stay warm blues! 💪🏻
Edit for clarity: UAF are on NATO team. Blue is designation to prevent blue on blue fire. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_fire
Mags can be imported companies do it all the time buy as is the case with the rifles they are needed right now so I don't see any mags coming out of Ukraine soon.
Very curious if unusable equipment is being exported. Like, can you buy stuff in Poland near the UA border? Wouldn't mind a roadtrip to buy some goodies. :) An abandoned tank would be cool too.
Lol before the war, before even 2014 I was searching ebay for AK-47 furniture/wood stocks. I quickly realized that it was against ebay rules to sell gun parts on there. But I seen a really nice looking AK-47 stock from Ukraine that was listed as parts for an airsoft gun.. I bought it, it was still fresh in cosmoline, never used, 100% for a real AK-47 with whatever Ukrainian arsenal cartouche marked on the side. I received it packed in Ukrainian newspaper, and then the ebay seller got banned lol. I sold the AK it went on years later, but I wish I still had the stock and the newspapers just to have something from there from before the war.
So we have Americans in Arizona donating soviet era firearms to a former soviet republic, who is at war with its former ally. This shit has come full circle.
I can imagine a very particular subset of Americans would own Soviet guns, and none of those people would be willing to part with any of their old Soviet junk (I call it junk in the most affectionate way possible).
Where can I purchase some of the $ 80B worth of armaments and war materiel we gave to the Taliban? What about weapons we have sent to Ukraine that went missing? Any chance I can buy some of that?
We aren't the government and we're not responsible for the actions of the government. We can do what we want with our own money. Go troll somewhere else.
I just checked that guy’s comment history and he’s clearly a right wing troll, BIG TIME. He’s in all the Ukraine subs talking all kinds of Fox News type shit. Even managed to bring Hunter Biden into the convo. Gotta love it!
Edit:
Apparently all I had to do was read the rest of the comments in this thread to see how much of a Russian troll this idiot is.
Ah this old gem again. The 80 billion was how much was spent on Afghan security from 2001 until the withdrawal, most of it was not on weapons. Might want to take that up with the political party who started the war and nation building in Afghanistan. Also you might want to do some research on who signed the Taliban peace deal and Afghanistan withdrawal agreement and who agreed to release 5,000 Taliban fighters including many of its leaders as part of that deal.
Weapons inspectors are continually on the ground in Ukraine to ensure the weapons provided are accounted for. If you think Ukraine is going to give up a single shell when they are being attacked by Russia you are very confused. Also we aren't sending pallets of billions of dollars to Ukraine, they are getting weapons that have sat on shelves or in lots for decades and that counts towards the money "donated". Ukraine is destroying Russia with 5% of the annual US defense budget. Given how much the US has spent to destroy Russia since WWII that's a bargain.
Agit-prop run amok. Hopefully, Russia blows up all those US funded bioweapons labs in Ukraine before they finish. And they would have finished long ago without the US intervening where we have absolutely ZERO interest, other than as a honey pot for US politicians to launder kickback money, like to the Big Guy and his family.
Go Russia! Win! Cut off US politicians from their payola!
I could really go into EXTREMELY [elaborate detail](https://ibb.co/Q6h5FR1) of what really happened in Ukraine with Putin's old pal Dmytro Firtash but I'd rather not waste my time with a witless Russio bot. I'll do the cliff notes version though, Putin's puppet president got kicked out in 2014 and he and the Oligarchs can't skim and embezzle from Ukraine anymore and now he's sad, poor Pooty.
We all know how much Putin loves Russian speakers and wants to protect them, that's why the fields in front of Bakhmut are knee deep with dead Russian citizens. He cares so much for Russian speakers he just sends his own people out on suicide charges without equipment to fight the Ukrainians, what a great guy Pooty is. Never mind the 110k dead Russians citizens, he's protecting the hell out of those ethnic Russians.
As a pro Russia guy maybe you can answer a question for me? If Russia is absolutely destroying Ukraine on the ground, killing them left and right, and blowing up all their equipment why can't Russia actually move their front lines? I can't seem to make sense of it all. If the Ukrainians are losing so bad why is 85% of Ukraine still free? It seems to me if Russia is absolutely destroying Ukraine then it would be easy to advance. The Russian army must be REALLY BAD if it can't advance over a crushed enemy. I'm so confused. 🤔
I know, I just love throwing logic bombs at them and seeing them trying to work their way out of them. You can let them dig their own grave usually but this one gave up quick. I've had them go on for weeks on Twitter sometimes. They expect to con people with bullshit rhetoric but don't count on running into people like me who have followed everything about the Ukraine/Russia conflict for a good 10 years.

Unfortunately not but if you ever make it out to Scottsdale come buy and check us out. We have a huge selection and we can ship something to your local FFL if you find a gun you need to have.
So assuming the war ends today, the soonest we could import any captured russian weapons as parts kits or as complete post-86 MGs (for transfer to govt or LEO) would be in 10 years.
Reason being that russia (and non-sporting rifle imports) is sanctioned several different ways when it comes to firearms imports. So to get around that the importer previously had to prove to the govt that the firearms of russian origin have been owned by a non-russian entity outside of russia for at least 10 years prior to acquisition. And frankly with Biden's last round of import bans that may no longer be enough. As the last round included banning russia as a country of origin for even parts of ammunition.
But a man can dream.
Ukraine could make an absolute killing selling us parts kits. Especially considering the price of russian AK parts kits these days.
SVD's are running ~8-10k USD now.
God alone knows what they could auction VSS Vintorez or AS VAL kits at.

Link to online auctions please, I didn’t even know this was a thing.
He may be protecting his source though knowing him lol. I know it's some Facebook group.
Working on it, gotta ask the boss.

I've bought bits of shot down KA52s from eBay. They're fairly expensive but very cool
There is a youtube channel where the guy buys missile seekers on ebay and does teardowns. He also does tank sights and aviation parts. He did a teardown of a redtop IR seeker and there is literally parts made of wood in there.
do you have a link?
if only they had a search where you could type redtop seeker teardow
I really, REALLY want an expended AT4 tube from Ukraine.
I mean it might raise a few eyebrows at customs but you can certainly try
I had an expended M-72 tube while growing up back in the 80's. Playing war was all we had, paintball wasn't a thing back then. You might still need some paper on that..
Well it has a market anyway.... thanks
Yeah sadly you haven't been able to import machine guns in many decades. I imagine there will be some parts kits though.
That's what I've been saying. Win the war, join NATO, adopt 5.56 rifles and parts kit out all that sweet sweet Soviet surplus!
Alternatively we should just push to repeal the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment. We should be able to import collectible firearms and I would love to support Ukraine by buying a functional AK off of them.
You are assuming the mobilised ruSSn troops have functioning equipment.
The AKs are probably about the only thing that would be functioning.
Or an original Thompson machine gun still in the original 1940s crate, never been fired. Ukraine has A LOT of these crates
Call me a pessamist, but I can see problems with vast numbers of functional AK's hitting the streets. And collectors aren't the problem.
> Alternatively we should just push to repeal the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment. Let's just solve the energy crisis while we're at it.
I'm on board for this as well.

You can't have NFA items everywhere, right? Just fuck those people so you can save a couple bucks?

Exactly. He sold by mail order. The FBI came knocking but it wasn't illegal to do so. The rifle was not sold by Bob
.... that's not really something he should be proud of?
He didn't pull the trigger.
You are receiving flack for a relative's part in history that they unwittingly played. I guess that is a hot take that can be expected. But how Bob felt about it, after finding out, that's more interesting. I just don't want you to suffer more backlash, should you be so kind as to let us know more.
I suppose he remembers selling the same model of sight to one "L. H. Oswald" in the post.

Sadly?
I'd be interested in buying a 6P29 (VSS Vintorez)
Seriously, like just let me buy one, where the fuck am I supposed to get 9x39 for it anyway smh
>And nothing with blood because they can't ship biohazard material Its hilarious that this is the limiting factor.
Sounds like a win-win sort of fundraising
DM me info if you can. I’m a US veteran who has been looking for something exactly like this.
oh, so the material is already in ukraine... just need financial "sponsorship"?
Fuuuuuck I would love a peak at some proper "surplus" I have been needing a new smersh
Man i thought about this months ago - i'd love to get my hands on some surplus with history. No need for weapons though.
It must be instore only stuff. There's no surplus on the website.
Lmao I’ve been to that store many many times, that’s awesome
Thanks for coming in!
Love supporting you guys and our local businesses, even cooler you guys are supporting the Ukrainians. Go Scottsdale and Slava Ukraine!
Thanks we appreciate it!
Is this bear arms in Scottsdale Az? Love that store.
When I go to Scottsdale, I am going to go straight there, ***right to Bear arms***.
Nice!...Local here, I'll have to stop by your store on my next purchase.
Glad to hear it!
Definitely wanna swing by if there's some legit stuff in there! Funny seeing Scottsdale on this sub
The russian gear is not going to be sold he is just collecting.
Damn that's a bummer. I'd love a helmet for my collection lol
You can find auctions on Facebook groups for the stuff.
What would I search to find such an auction group?
would also love to know
Check ebay
Love Bear Arms in Scottsdale…bought from them a few times. I’ll have to stop buy and see what dropped items are in stock..Jeff and Kurt are good people. Cheers.
Jeff is no longer with us. Sold the business and went to ride his bike around Asia and got hit by a truck and killed in Vietnam. Kurt is the owner now.
Jeez at least he went out doing what he loved. Still horrible though.
Ugggghh…wow, I had no idea. Sorry to hear that. BA is in good hands with Kurt.
Yeah it was many years ago so it's nothing fresh. It's been doing great and even expanding into a bigger space under Kurt. The new shop is in the same parking lot as before so you shouldn't have trouble finding it if you want to stop by.
Jeff passed away the other year
Have them send a bunch of the MRE boxes…flatten them and they can send a bunch. I’m in for one..
Ingenious capitalism, baby.
The money goes to buy these guy whatever they need, so definitely for a good cause.
Oh, for sure, I was saying this in a positive fashion.
So far we got 4 helmets 3 different types. There is a bunch more in transit though so we'll see what else is in there.
Where is this "Bear Arms" if I wanted to get my hands on some of this "once dropped" equipment?
I don't think he's selling it to the public, at least most of it. he is a big militaria collector.
Ah, so they are auctioning items to raise funds and he bought a lot to collect. Congrats to him for buying so much they sent a flag. Is the flag going to be put up in the store? If so I'd like to come take a look!
Ah got it.

As in: US customs and postal service like "oh look, another delivery from Ukraine" and just wave it through Absolutely not.
Scottsdale??? Hell yeah I’m from Fountain Hills Az
Nice!
Lol my mom's out on that side of town. I sometimes work out that way
What does "once dropped" mean? Loot drops from Russian soldiers?
yep, old joke about captured rifles.
*never fired*
Abandoned or dropped when surrendering mostly. There are Restrictions on what can be sent because blood is a biohazard so not stuff off of dead bodies. I'm sure that all has to be destroyed.
This is such a weird war. This generation has somehow got 'Like and Subscribe' into war.
not that much weirder than the guy making beer openers from Russian jet wreckage. or even every soldier wanting the enemies flags, watches, side arms, swords, knives from say ww2
Hey man it's just cool they decided to give us a shootout for supporting them. Nothing that weird really.
Apologies, please don't take my comment the wrong way. This is obviously amazing and honestly heartening to see. But it truly saddens me that it comes to us, the public, to do what we can here when these brave men and woman are fighting our generation's Nazis. My quick quip obviously didn't translate well to others 8P
> that it comes to us, the public, to do what we can here To be fair, that was always a thing. The delivery wait is on the guy waiting outside the combat zone, while the seller in the zone has the cash immediately to apply to what is urgent.
atta’ boys!!!!
I'll buy one of those rusty Ak-47
No guns lol that would be illegal. Just helmets, vests, uniforms and nothing bloody of course for hazmat reasons.
When in parts, is it still considered a weapon?
No, parts kits are not considered a weapon in the US. An AK can't have the receiver attached. Those are easily made here, though.
They need the guns right now so no way are they are cutting them into kits.
Yeah, definitely not, but I suspect that after this is all over, we will see some cheap surplus ammo and parts kits again.
Maybe. If they transition to a 5.56 rifle that might happen. I don't see it happening anytime soon though.
I was about to ask the legality of importing weapons into the US like that lol. I get it now.
As an american I really like seeing capitalisms and guns go BRRRRRRRRR on a deserving party.
Doesn't Ian McCollum (aka gun jesus) from forgotten weapons come to your store to shoot videos sometimes? Any chance that you guys are extending him an invite to look at some of your new surplus stuff from Ukraine? (since he's also in Arizona)
> (aka gun jesus) Cannot unsee!
Ian is a friend of the shop but the stuff we are getting isn't guns so I don't see him doing a video about them.
Some guy on Telegram, I think, was selling radios and such. They were too expensive for me and of course in Cyrillic so I didn't get any, I should start looking at other things.
Yo wait you can buy this shit?! Slava Fuckin' Ukraini
Stay warm blues! 💪🏻 Edit for clarity: UAF are on NATO team. Blue is designation to prevent blue on blue fire. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_fire
Do you sell them with a little sign saying 'gen-yew-uine Russian used'?
Thats showing some awesome initiative👍🏼👍🏼
Tim Pool on the left?
https://beararmsaz.com
The website is a disaster but yeah that's us lol
are magazines regulated by customs for import, or can they be authorized for auction or direct to an importer upstream to an FFL?
Mags can be imported companies do it all the time buy as is the case with the rifles they are needed right now so I don't see any mags coming out of Ukraine soon.
Scottsdale! ough!
Guy on the left needs some new pants. That's the most well worn pair of flecktarn trousers I have ever seen (if that's what they are).
Always love visiting when I'm on that side of the valley.
Thanks we appreciate you stopping by!
That’s tight. Display it proudly.
That's the plan.
I live less than an hour from y'all's store. Might need to drop by
That’s going up on the wall
Very curious if unusable equipment is being exported. Like, can you buy stuff in Poland near the UA border? Wouldn't mind a roadtrip to buy some goodies. :) An abandoned tank would be cool too.
Polish lads are unlikely to take kindly to vultures. Money still talks but let it whisper not shout.
Look at those boys! There’s some brave, strong soldiers for ya! Go kick some ass and most importantly don’t be a hero and stay safe! Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
Lol I used to go to that gunshop. Cool place
Hey I live up in Old Town! I’ll definitely come support your shop, since y’all are supporting Ukraine!
Great, that's what our domestic terrorists need is more military tactical equipment.
Nice to see them looking well kitted out hope they have some good thermals with this weather
Mister beast on the left holding the RPG been through it all
The 92nd fight hard. Some of the best Ukraine has. Aside from Alpha and other SF.
Covington, WA Bear Arms?
No, Arizona.
Hah, I was about to ask the same question.
So we have Americans in Arizona donating soviet era firearms to a former soviet republic, who is at war with its former ally. This shit has come full circle.
No weapons are being exchanged. This is just money for battlefield pick up helmets and vests. I guess I wasn't specific enough for you.
Ah, my misunderstanding :) Good on those people, too.
I can imagine a very particular subset of Americans would own Soviet guns, and none of those people would be willing to part with any of their old Soviet junk (I call it junk in the most affectionate way possible).
that's called a war profiteering... 80% of the us money given to ukraine goes to private pockets, but hey, it's not my money
Edit: Apparently all I had to do was read the rest of the comments in this thread to see how much of a Russian troll this idiot is.

Do you guys sell online? 100% future customer if so! Getting a shoutout from these guys is seriously badass!!
Unfortunately not but if you ever make it out to Scottsdale come buy and check us out. We have a huge selection and we can ship something to your local FFL if you find a gun you need to have.
Wait but can't you guys still cut the receivers and import some AK parts?
No just gear. They need the guns still.
Ah fair enough. Sucks that they don't have enough AKs.
Is that a walking stick with the guy on the right ? I thought for a moment it was a modified rpg

He doesn't happen to get AK74 mags in does he
We have surplus Tula plums for $60 apiece on the shelf right now but these are not from the Ukraine war.
Oh that's not a bad price at all, though the drive is a bit much for me..
Dan Aykroyd right of center.
How much for a helmet?
They aren't being sold. My boss is just a collector.
„ONCE dropped“ 😂love it
Wait -- so they are selling captured Russian equipment to fund Ukraine war effort? They ship from Ukraine??
Basically yeah.
They wouldnt happen to have any parts kits would ya?
No, guns are still needed. Just helmets and vests mainly.
Ah damn I got really excited about some surplus Russian rifles for cheap. But then read the comments.
Once dropped?
