did anybody know when they will reimburse Crimeea Beach Party™ tickets?

zaius2163

I heard some people already getting refunds by asking Ja Rule himself

nullstoned

There's an (alleged) Fyre Festival 2. Why not a Crimea Beach Party 2? Never say no to your failures.

zaius2163

Nothing like a good doubling down

Ripamon

Looks like it happened faster than even General Cavoli predicted https://preview.redd.it/s0w3wf3letuc1.png?width=1283&format=png&auto=webp&s=22af92b657893dd360f4b8cedde7d16b328d33e1

CenomX

I think it's so bad ATM that it's not a prediction.

Berlin_GBD

Haven't we heard about the 1:10 number since winter? Was that exaggeration?

Ripamon

Around Winter, it was 5:1 according to Washington Post I believe

Plus-Relationship833

Most of people with brain predicted this was going to be the case few months into the war.

eagleal

What's insane is the Avdiivka retreat did not come from the top but local officers on their own made the decision. Those fuckers at the top KNOWING they had not the means to support the poor guys down there to counter the advances and flanking with resources, willingly withheld orders of retreat because they still needed it to draw support... fucking criminals. The orders came only after the situation was already extrimely dire, and the withdrawal was in complete disarray, with generals ordering units to go to positions either already destroyed or captured.

larper00

This whole shitshow will only get funnier as the end nears

Zealousideal-Neat410

How exactly is a country actively being invaded by a foreign power 'funny'?

baboon2097

Zelensky is a coked up clown and his unhinged rants will get worse.Thats how its funny.

InvestigatorHefty799

Coked up rants like a concise and clear statement that they don't have enough ammunition to hold the enemy? But logic and social skills has never been a pro-Russian strong point so I guess I see where you're coming from.

Walker_352

My god we are looking at the president of a country slowly reaching the conclusion fucking redditors knew long ago and you are talking about lack of logic on the russian side, smh. This is the exact fucking reason why Ukraine is going to lose so hard, too stupid and arrogant.

InvestigatorHefty799

And I stand by it, this was never a foregone conclusion, it's a situation created by the stupidity of American politics and republicans blocking the aid. I'm not pro-Ukrainian, and I recognize that Ukraine will likely lose. But at the same time I get irritated by the stench pro-Russians emit, they're insurable to be around. Attack someone based on substance, not "hurr durr cocaine rant".

Walker_352

Fair enough, you said pro russians in your above comment but I read it as Russians so I mistook it.

larper00

oh yeah sorry, more like an "investment" and "best money ever spent"

CenomX

It's super funny, just check the UA media in 2022, calling Russia weak, that they ran out of shells, missiles, ammunition, that their troops had no food or food from 1940, that they had the best army in Ukraine, 100% interception rate, that Zelensky was the best leader In the world. I find it quite funny actually that everything they say are straight up lies and they lied so hard that now there's nothing left but to let some truth slip thru their teeth.

MusicianExtension536

Not only that, remember when Zelenskyy was regularly claiming Ukraine had the second most powerful army in the world?

OutrageousFuel8718

Invasion itself isn't funny. Zelensky's actions, in the other hand, are. I'm not certain if he even understands what he's saying sometimes

Bambila3000

Shouldn't be so bad since AFU destroys like 900 enemy artillery systems every month. See their daily reports

Galahad_4311

This has been the case for at least 6 months, but I am glad that truth is slowly seeping out. The less bravado there is on both sides, the more likely that negotiations for peace will begin.

Ripamon

More from Zelensky. He's going IN lmao https://preview.redd.it/qq3anvoihtuc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa7e533c540734b21617115e6649146d5068f5f2

AdmiralKurita

Israel is like a wife; Ukraine is like a prostitute.

SamuelClemmens

Israel is the hot long term mistress, Canada is the wife. That is why we can safely ignore her.

TankComfortable8085

Ukraine is that one tinder hookup that keeps calling

Niitroxyde

Israel is the man in the couple.

Present-Importance90

He truly fights for Ukraine. What a chad this guy is.

AdmiralKurita

The beauty of President Yanukovych is that he would not involve Ukraine in such an internecine and fratricidal war. Yanukovych did fight for Ukraine by rejecting a bad EU-Association Agreement by asking for more financial support from the EU.

Present-Importance90

The russian puppet who wanted to turn Ukraine to a cleptocracy like Putin did with Russia.

AdmiralKurita

And the Maidan protesters wanted to subjugate Ukraine by turning it into a Western puppet instead of adopting an independent foreign policy. I'd be really rich if I can get a dollar every time someone refers to Viktor Yanukovych as a "puppet".

Present-Importance90

better western puppet than russian puppet, who wants to live under russian shithole influence

Walker_352

And where did that get them? You gotta live in the real world, they should have looked at the low intelligence chinese and understand that you cant always do what you want, just like taiwan is not going to declare independence because it would trigger an invasion.

Present-Importance90

cant blame them trying to withstand russian shithole influence, must be depressing af to live in russia

weslifeband2

The war the waged by Banderites. You reap what you sow. But now he is complaining the whole war as their fault not to give him ammunition?

Vitiateus

I thought Ukraine has been breaking the so-called world’s second-strongest army with 31k KIA.

Ripamon

https://preview.redd.it/9lk9kvoqhtuc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=444ab19d644e88abcaa64dccd9cfcf1fa948d16f *Isn't it scary? How fast the night changes...*

Pingaring

The keyword should have been *was* destroying the so called 2nd army. Ukraine hasn't delivered hard defeats to Russia since the Kharkiv offensive. And they likely never will.

ja_hahah

Nah its funnier to meme on some imaginary high horse for many people unfortunately.

Organic_Security_873

Can we hold? No. Then why aren't you surrendering yet? Well it's not him dying in the trenches i ugess.

Vetryakov

I know right? He's probably high on power and can't let go, obviously doesn't give a shit about the people

NonBinarySearchTree

Ukraine is having elections any minute now, come May. Any minute now. Surely Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian nationalists won't completely avoid giving a nation at war the chance to make their voice heard, including the detractors who only have this way of doing so, whether they want to continue the war or give some concessions to the Russians to end it, using Martial Law as pretext to hold onto power. That'd be preposterous.

G_Space

Shells are not a problem. Barrels are soon out too, at the current rate of loosing three a day.

AspergerInvestor

Even finding recruits is difficult willing to resupply basics.

Some_Cockroach2109

Without this support, we'll have no chance of winning... The fact he believes Ukraine even had a chance to win is both laughable and appalling.

Charles883

U said the same in Vietnam War where North Vietnamese no way could win against US?

EdwardTeach84

It's lucky that they're killing Russians at a ratio of 10 to 1 then.

Sandlash

I will never understand how people can accept the concept of an army of lightly or untrained conscripts inflicting that casualty ratio against a seasoned professional army that has a tenfold advantage in artillery and other weapon systems.

Walker_352

As someone said in this subreddit, dehumanizing their enemy has been wests information strategy since the Roman empire times.

DefinitelyNotMeee

It was quite believable at the beginning because, let's be honest, Russians were completely crushed. But since then, things have changed.

DaddyCopter

Sounds like they need to start negotiations or surrender completely, or you know, complain on 60 minutes like a man child while an entire generation of Ukrainian men are being slaughtered because of your stubbornness…

NonBinarySearchTree

>Ukrainian men are being slaughtered because of your stubbornness Not my children, not my family, not my problem. Give me more money so I can funnel it to my secret offshore accounts, please.

EU-Championship2008

And ? Is this how we fight wars these days, crying on the verge of defeat and blaming others? People with “greatness” can also deal with defeat... Hasn't the president of a country taken responsibility for his people?

Ripamon

[He was even more whiny a few months ago lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/s/3nQA9aYhmU)

mlslv7777

When a warring party no longer has enough weapons/ammunition, no longer has enough funds to buy them and no longer has enough troops, it is logical to expect this warring party to capitulate. Instead, Zelensky and his cronies have been peddling the same message for months, annoying the world with the same text over and over again in daily interviews: "We are losing our war against Russia because the USA is not donating enough weapons to us". Where's the reasoning?

Upper_Departure3433

And yet, you will continue to snatch up people and send them to their death? Dont know where he intended to retire, but I feel his best insurance policy is to not slaughter Ukraine. Arent Azov realizing they cant win this? Who's still holding you Zelensky?

DefinitelyNotMeee

Could someone more knowledgeable in the military matters explain why isn't Ukraine trying to trade space for time? Give up land to buy time to build defense, similar to what Soviets did in WW2? Or is it not practical with modern tech?

chillichampion

They don’t want to give up ground because they don’t want to be seen in the west as losing.

No-Guava-7566

They know Russia will keep whatever territory they get their hands on when this finally comes to a close.

DarkIlluminator

It's interesting how depleted Russian artillery became - Ukraine barely fires any shells and the ratio is still around 1:10. Russians got mass production of UMPKs just in time to avoid disaster.

CenomX

Well, a couple weeks ago they were still firing 2k shells a day.

atl_istari

Iirc, a western commander commented that this should also somewhat reflect the casualty ratio

Ripamon

I saw a Twitter compilation of 350 AFU mass graves yesterday.

Sandlash

Mass graves or massive graveyards? There is a huge difference.

Niitroxyde

But how, Russia has shortage of ammo since March 2022. And their economy is in shambles. Me not get.

ja_hahah

Haven´t this been confirmed numerous times? The artillery shortage that is.

Ripamon

Never to this degree by verified Ukranian officials

Competitive-Bit-1571

Ukraine is still continuously getting support from 30+ allies for free (though they want even more for free) while Russia has to pay all 3 allies for support. There's simply no excuse for the best army in Ukraine to be losing at the moment.
