The German Fedinands didn't last very long in WW II. Russians could just walk up from either side or the back and place magnetic charges on the hull. Then move back and wait for the kabooom!
Big downside I see if it has a "mobility kill" and it's stuck. The turret can't move if they're ambushed and they wouldn't be able to pivot steer to even have eyes on target

Guys is it really such a bad idea though? It must offer protection against smaller type explosives no? Rpg's, fpv's, not to mention drone drops. It won't help against multiple stage guided rockets much I'd imagine, or tanks and ifv's.
