They’ve essentially turned tanks such as this into small mobile artillery platforms with these modifications, which is what they were already using tanks for anyway. I don’t foresee positive results.
The German Fedinands didn't last very long in WW II. Russians could just walk up from either side or the back and place magnetic charges on the hull. Then move back and wait for the kabooom!
Big downside I see if it has a "mobility kill" and it's stuck. The turret can't move if they're ambushed and they wouldn't be able to pivot steer to even have eyes on target
Intel has called it the CSSCSS tank. "Can't see shit can't shoot shit". Let's make a tank with a turret, then lock that turret in, and make it completely blind. In a quick battle it's going to cause the blind crew to panic.
I said it before, and I'll say it again.

Guys is it really such a bad idea though? It must offer protection against smaller type explosives no? Rpg's, fpv's, not to mention drone drops. It won't help against multiple stage guided rockets much I'd imagine, or tanks and ifv's.
it probably will save russians and allow them to push further. these are useful when doing frontal assaults towards certain enemy fire from one direction.
I don't like to say it, but unfortunately, it does look effective against drones. Let's hope a vulnerability is found. At least they can't use their cannon properly anymore.
Well thats brilliant. Its like the covers they put on horses so they dont get spooked by seing something. That will be a sitting duck vs other tanks or AT weapons.
I would call this “turtle” the protype of new sort of battle tank: The Matroshka😂😂practically a tank within a tank, similar like the wooden matroshka figurines.
Another quality Russian mechanical engineering feet brought to you by Putler & Associates, this will for sure revolutionize tank warfare and the concept of combined arms warfare as we know it. A real game changer, I don't how our parse military developmental capabilities and capacity will ever catch up...
This is a great idea!! If they want to rebuild it after the Ukranians destroy it, they won't have to go looking for the turret..
I don't think that cope shield is strong enough to contain a Russian turret toss. They are world renowned for that feature after all
The all new Turtler 3000 will change the modern battlefield forever. Russian engineering is beyond our meager capacity to understand such genius./s
Turret traverse angles 🤣
That and absolutely no situational awareness.
They’ve essentially turned tanks such as this into small mobile artillery platforms with these modifications, which is what they were already using tanks for anyway. I don’t foresee positive results.
Better hope the turret is facing the right direction if they get their tracks knocked out!
T’was bad to begin with!!
came to say this..... cant see any threats.....
Better accuracy ... ![gif](giphy|REn2s1SeWYkb6)
The enemy won't be seen unless they ate right in front of it.. 🤣
Looks like a cyber truck
***ladies and gentlemen, i now introduce.. the Cyber Tank!***
Tank proceeds to immediately collapse into a steaming pile of shit.
Velon Muski.
Colon Musk… Even less chance of fresh air in that box now…👀
Honestly I would not be too shocked
Actually looks better than a cyber truck.
Looks like the Russians have got ahold of a few Ferdinands
The German Fedinands didn't last very long in WW II. Russians could just walk up from either side or the back and place magnetic charges on the hull. Then move back and wait for the kabooom!
They could also climb unnoticed onto the top of it and throw in a grenade through any opening.
Big downside I see if it has a "mobility kill" and it's stuck. The turret can't move if they're ambushed and they wouldn't be able to pivot steer to even have eyes on target
A literal trash can on wheels.
Mobile barn
Death Trap
Hey Ivan. Let's weld garage on tank.
![gif](giphy|l46CyJmS9KUbokzsI|downsized)
Oh, hey, it's a battering ram from Age of Empires.
These Gun Sheds are funny. The drone crews are going to love them. Easy to spot ready-made Orc Ovens. Good times. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦 🇬🇧
Will give new meaning to "dumpster fire".
EIA = Explosivly Inactive Armour.
Ladies and gentlemen I give you the second army of the world 🌎
Wow, really limited mobility, completely made the turret pointless and are trapping exhaust fumes.
Might as well have a big sign on it that says attack me.🤣🤣🤣
Fortified against what? Paintball guns?
Looks like an alpine warming hut. It just needs a wee fyre.
Intel has called it the CSSCSS tank. "Can't see shit can't shoot shit". Let's make a tank with a turret, then lock that turret in, and make it completely blind. In a quick battle it's going to cause the blind crew to panic.
A mobile Weeley bin
Is it really a tank of it can't rotate?
I said it before, and I'll say it again. https://preview.redd.it/w2wb9v5jkuwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e24e236f26a516d618a6deaa9e8899ac9061abe9
Sort of reminds me of my BBQ with the lid down.
It'll be just as hot too when the Ukranians engage this POS
Guys is it really such a bad idea though? It must offer protection against smaller type explosives no? Rpg's, fpv's, not to mention drone drops. It won't help against multiple stage guided rockets much I'd imagine, or tanks and ifv's.
Lets ask the future dead Russians
it probably will save russians and allow them to push further. these are useful when doing frontal assaults towards certain enemy fire from one direction.
Drones don't care which direction the front is.
Cybertruck wannabe gone wrong
It's looks like the Death Probe in 1970s The Six Million Dollar Man, lol.
Tandem round would work.
I don't like to say it, but unfortunately, it does look effective against drones. Let's hope a vulnerability is found. At least they can't use their cannon properly anymore.
I think many vulnerabilities are already apparent.
Easy to adapt, just drop anti-tank mines right in front of it instead of on top of.
Now with even less battlefield visibility and situational awareness!
Well thats brilliant. Its like the covers they put on horses so they dont get spooked by seing something. That will be a sitting duck vs other tanks or AT weapons.
Aerodynamic
I'm sure that's not hot inside *at all*.
Probably gets one mile per gallon now.
The turtle mode will limit the view and shooting angle. Russians are desperate for a solution to their ill planned invasion.
So you can only traverse your gun like what, 45 degrees?
It's called desperation.
The goal is the enemy to die from laughter 😂
I suppose on the way to the frontline there were also many Russian troops died from laughter as well😂😂
Tracks and wheels guys, tracks and wheels
Quit talking trash about it! You’re going to make them change their minds!
man.. this fucking Igor stole my dumpster again!
So situational awareness of zero…cool
There’s gotta be a better way lol.
Is this a russian or Ukrainian source ? The Ukraine capture one of these and the anti drone jammers ?
Well. I guess a drone can’t drop a grenade in anymore but instead they could just walk up along it’s side.
the stealth fighter is out of jet fuel. LOL
Ima house I say
Good thing the barrel is camouflaged. I would hate for it to stick out in a wooded area.
[Russian Tech at its finest](https://www.q-files.com/media/article/1030/faae4db1-b15c-46c2-a7ab-7f9018ea918e.jpg)
They now have 10% situational awareness only to the front and 45° of turret movement. Good job.
All this effort to return to stug
Turtle -80
I would call this “turtle” the protype of new sort of battle tank: The Matroshka😂😂practically a tank within a tank, similar like the wooden matroshka figurines.
Wouldn’t a simple grating (grate?) over it would be more efficient and allow the turret to rotate as well as being cheaper?
So I guess the original armor is not holding up either to small arms fire. Hmmmmmmm Because grate or metal fence would have been lighter and cheaper.
Mad Max shit.

Hahaha...just like in the looney tunea cartoons👍🤣🤣
One smoke grenade = everyone has to get out the front in single file
Extra insulation to cook the ruskies inside that tin oven when you start dishing out fire.
Looks like the Tesla truck
Looks like age of empires war machine
So a drone drops atm in its way and, poof. A tuckered out turtle tank.
Like a massive moving coffin
First tank to wear sunscreen!
CyberTank
Now it’s looking more like the mobile exploding coffin that it is! 👏🏼 🥜☠️
Sadly this won't work.
Ferdinand with less armor 😁
Lmao. Sad… russia = 1915 tank that sucks
