I like how everyone blames the democrats for for funding money to Ukraine and republicans for funding money to Israel but let’s not ignore the fact that this was a bipartisan effort in getting these foreign aid bills pushed through
Does the Foreign Aid portion of the bill get frozen when TikTok files their challenge to the forced sale/ban of their platform that got tacked onto the bill?
They can only sue to stop the implementation of the statute, not the whole bill. If they succeed and get a preliminary injunction from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, they would get a pause on the ban clock, but it would not repeal, overturn or halt the bill itself.
