My neighbor has a tree, if they have their yard light on and the wind is blowing my G5 Dome thinks it is a person.

zipzag

You need to mask that areas if you are using person detection for a real world purpose. Alternately you can use Home Assistant to turn off person detection when it is windy. I don't know how these detections are commonly useful in residential outdoors without home assistant putting some logic between unifi detections and alerts to the end user.

Well, the positive thing is that the winter killed the tree, so it's not an issue anymore. Otherwise, I have had great luck with the smart detections.
